Honestly, we didn't stay and found another property that we were comfortable staying at. It's a shared apartment with other guests, and my spouse and I are not comfortable with that situation. It is not clear on the bookings.com website that the apartment is shared, but it was clearly stated in the hosts email to us.The lesson here is to read the reviews carefully and also the hosts response.

Very cute appartments which are fitted very well. Good rooms and everything is very clean. They are located a little bit outside of the city center but are reachable with the train in around 20 minutes which is perfect. Would highly recommend and come back when returning to Lissabon!

The house is very well located, everything is close by; from fruit shops to small grocery stores as well as large commercial areas. Cafés and restaurants are just a 3-minute walk away. The kitchen is super equipped with everything and anything. I stayed in the suite and I can say that it is new, comfortable and modern, it also has a private bathroom in a new and updated state. At night there are no disturbing noises because in addition to the house and the outside area being very quiet, the glazing is double, which reduces noise to the minimum. And to add to all this, the common areas as well as the suite and bathroom are very very clean. You can book and stay at this place because in addition to all the benefits described above, the “host” Sónia is truly incredible. Friendliness at the highest level and in addition to leaving the house to meet each guest individually, we also care about whether each day is going well and whether everything is to our liking.

Excellent value for the price. The guesthouse was clean and well decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen. Tap water is drinkable. The room looked just like the pictures. Very comfortable and modern. The guesthouse is close to the train (Benfica station) so it was easy to travel around Lisbon and to Sintra. There are also a couple bus stops nearby. The neighbourhood was quiet and seemed pretty safe to me. (I say this as a female who was travelling solo.) There are some affordable Portuguese restaurants nearby that are open until late (10-11pm). For groceries, there are two Minipreços that are about 10 min walk from the guesthouse. For hiking/walking in nature, Parque Florestal de Monsanto is close by but you have to walk along a highway/road to get there. Overall great guesthouse experience and nice location. I would recommend this place :)
