Wow, I had mixed expectations when booking but really loved this property. Located in one of Lisbons’s most upscale neighborhoods, neighbors are the China, Bulgaria, Netherlands, and U.S. embassies. The property is very discrete with only a locked door facing the street with in opens up into a private compound after being buzzed in upon arrival. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The centerpiece of the compound is the infinity edge pool, with towels available from reception upon request. Breakfast is one of the best I have had recently with a fairly extensive buffet and cooked eggs upon request. Rooms are immaculate, comfortable, and spacious. I did not notice any noise or anything bothersome. It was perfect! Shops and F&B are located down the hill about a 1 km walk. Great selection of local and upscale eateries. My only regret is my stay was too short.

The reason for 3 stars is the poor soundproofing of the rooms and the lack of hot water on two separate occasions. The staff is very friendly and the garden is nice. A bit too pricey for what is offered.

Nested in a very quiet neighbourhood, surrounded by the discretion of embassies, this is an excellent lodging option to explore the historic areas of the city. Several good opportunities for lunch and dinner are within walking distance. Several bus and tram lines will take you quickly to the busier and more touristic districts. The hotel is comfortable and distillates a relaxed atmosphere. The buffet breakfast and the chlorine free swimming pool are two highlights. The staff is young, dynamic and welcoming. We would certainly come back again.

Sehr süßes und familiäres Boutique Hotel abseits der Touristenpfade von Lissabon. Für einen Städtetrip optimal. Ruhige grüne Oase mit schönem Relaxbereich im Innenhof. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt.

Nice hotel with good service, big rooms, swimming pool, relatively easy to reach by public transport, quite neighborhood. There are not so many restaurants around it, 10-15 min walking is a usual time wr spend to reach a good one. Nevertheless, it is only 8 min from a big parking. If you want to book parking nearby, it's best to download the Telpark app, then you will have a discount, and gates will work automatically once you add the plate number and enter your credit cards details. Breakfast was good. Overall, it was a nice hotel to stay for a couple of days.

First of all I have to say I hate hotels, I usually don't feel welcome and secure. Jardim da Lapa is one of the best hotels I ever visited, so calm, feels like home. People seem to really care how you feel here, lots of smiles, big effort to give you all you need when staying far from home. I do recommend to stay and enjoy this place.

Nicest Hotel experience ever! Rooms decorated individually. Quality of bed, bath and beyond is top! Normally I don’t like eating breakfast in a hotel but as breakfast was included we tried it and it was so delicious, fresh and so many options. Staff is super friendly and helpful with tips for the city! Loved the quietness. (If you are sensitive to noise you should know that It is not possible to sleep with open windows because of the approach path of planes. You don’t hear anything with windows closed 😌)

Such a lovely hotel. Staff were so friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and air-conditioned. The pool area was quaint and peaceful. Would 100% recommend and definitely would stay again if I was to return to Lisbon!!

By far the best 3 star hotel we've ever been to! The location is calm, the service was EXCEPTIONAL, and the rooms very clean. We were offered a map with directions to all the interesting places to visit and restaurants to discover. The staff is really friendly and speak French/English which was very helpful. We will for sure come back when in Lisbon !

Great environment, AMAZING breakfast!, which varied from day to day. Quiet area but still interesting bars and cafés on walking distance. Good public transport (not metro). The room was comfortable (we had a double room with private bathroom) though there wasn't much space to leave our luggage open - there was a closet, but our stay was 3 nights, i.e. too short to take our things out.

What a lovely little hotel! My only “complaint” if you can call it that, is that there was nowhere to sit down in my room but the bed. A chair would have been lovely. However, the staff is extremely nice and helpful and knowledgeable. The area is very quiet (a plus), so sitting out in the courtyard is so peaceful. You can certainly walk to city center (although beware that everything is uphill 😂) but an Uber also would be very inexpensive if you’d rather not. The breakfast is included and very good.😊 They made me a little breakfast bag with juice and snacks because I was checking out before the official breakfast began.

Nice place, nice people, clean, good and helpful management - the property is a renovated house, the hotel has character and a great place for taking a rest (nice garden!)

I strongly discourage anyone from staying at this hotel due to serious security issues. There is a disturbing pattern of personal belongings disappearing from hotel rooms, and the hotel staff appears to be involved. The lack of response and indifference from the administration only amplify the concerns. Exercise caution and consider alternative accommodations.

An oasis in Lisbon with a garden and pool in the middle of the embassy district. The service is outstanding, the rooms clean and the breakfast comes from their own farm. Great experience!

Great little hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. Impeccable service and really good breakfast. A little away from downtown Lisbon and the pool and small garden provide a restful time away from crowds.

Very disappointing, overpriced for what you get; not cared You have to be very lucky with the room; No boutique standard (anymore); really disappointing. Room(s): clean but in general disappointing; cheap bath equipment (p.ex. bin) Breakfast: expandable; very easy; lower service; dirty coffee machine Pool & grass area: good and clean Staff: kind but I’ve missed understanding and flexibility Location: safe and clean neighbourhood It seems to be that the owners as well the staff don’t care much of the property and the rooms. The room which I’ve got first was (or I guess still is) full of scratches and marks on the walls and on the bathroom door. Added to that they were (or still are) some dead insects on the wall too. And on top of that there’s some mould in the bathroom. All in all not things you would like to see directly when you enter an (quite expensive) hotel room. It didn’t make me feel comfortable in that room at all. I contacted the reception directly with my displeasure and disappointment per mail. Unfortunately there wasn’t a room available to change to on that day. I could change for the second night. Second room luckily with no scratches but with stains on the pillow cases as well; disgusting and very cheap mirror in the bathroom (in general really cheap items in the bathroom and not fitted at all to the rest); defective bed table light and others. Complaint again to the reception staff. Got new pillow cases and the statement of the reception staff that they will look after the things I’ve criticised. Still didn’t hear or receive a sorry at all for my kind of displeasure (maybe that is too much to asked for). In general it should be self-evident that an hotel room should be cleaned and cared so the guest can feel comfortable. It doesn’t matter in that point if it’s an easy hostel or a 5 star hotel.

The Hotel is nice and the location is good. Also the staff was friendly and helpfull. Unfortunately the room was very humid and this was not because of the weather conditions. We had to open the Air condition in order to heat the room and try to avoid the humidity but this was not working well. Ein significant sign that the room had humidity was the mold on the wodden floor in the room and in the bathroom. That mold was not from a short period. ( see pictures ) This kind of mold is not very healthy and the client is going to breath in the particles which are in the air. This conditions are not acceptabel for the guests. Therefore it was not a good decision to book this Hotel.

If you want to get away from the crowds this is the place to go! It is in an area with various embassies and very few tourists. The minute you open the door into the garden, it feels like an oasis of calm. We got bolt taxis to most places for €3 to €6 euro. There aren’t many traditional restaurants within a quick walking distance but we had amazing sushi and Mexican near the hotel. It is an old building so be prepared for some noises from bedrooms above or stairs creaking etc. The airplanes pass above but there are double glazed windows in the bedrooms. Tram 28 is nearby and you get a less crowded experience as you take it contra the usual direction. We had a great stay- felt like a city break, pool retreat and beach holiday all in one (we visited the beaches on the far side of the bridge by ferry). The staff are very friendly and attentive especially Hugo and Fernanda. Very tasty breakfast.

Had a nice stay here last year. Quiet street and still close to everything. Cool that it used to be an Estonian embassy :)

Amazing boutique hotel. The room, the pool, the decor, the breakfast, the personal are amazing. I love the location too. We at first though it is very far from the center, but actually it is not. You can easily take an Uber (cost around 4€) to go to the center.

I was unable to make the check in time and my 5 night stay was canceled without a refund. thank you very much for the excellent customer support.

Worst place ever, I do not recommend it. My check-in was so poor to say the least, it felt like eternity, I arrived late, close to 00:00 and the guy/staff who was there ,didn´t even speak English properly which i founded odd and made the understanding and clarifying doubts a hard task. Small Room without amenities and with smell of sewage all over it, couldn´t sleep at night as the isolation do not exist, you can hear the planes and the lift, as well the other guests inside of their rooms, the bad breakfast and with low quality products that were spoiled or from the day before and it took too long to be ready and served, not to mention the manager Ugo, who spends his whole day sitting and touching his phone and when I reported my dissatisfaction, he just ignored it!!! Never coming back!! Poorest service ever !!

Beautiful boutique hotel in what used to be an embassy. Staff is very friendly and they will hold your bags if you arrive earlier than check in. There is a heated pool available to use all year and breakfast is included. Our room was beautifully decorated and spacious. We liked that it was far enough from the busier areas that it was quiet, but it's close enough to transit stops that getting around is very easy.

The worst experience I've ever had. On the second day of our stay, I left my backpack with personal belongings in the room. In the evening, when we came back, my backpack was unzipped and my Armani sunglasses were missing. It seems I'm not alone in my unfortunate experience. I later came across a Google review detailing a similar situation. The lack of security at the hotel is truly alarming and the staff shows a complete lack of care for their guests. I absolutely do NOT recommend it. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this place.

The hotel is superb, we had a great weekend. A haven of peace and a magnificent setting. The room is clean and spacious, the breakfast plentiful. A special thank you to Veronica and Fernanda and the rest of the staff.
