We had an amazing dinner at Cafe Dozo! The chef was very kind and attentive to details, it was an absolute pleasure to watch his skills. He offers a delightful twist to authentic sushi, if you’re keen on trying something new and delicious - this is a great place ! 10/10

This is my go to sushi place for casual visit. The quality is insanely high and price is low compared for what you receive. The owner is amazing and I eat here 3 times a week. Fish is fresh sake is delicious I could not find something bad about the place even if it tried! 1000% recommended

By far the best sushi I've had, not just in Portugal, but ever! No joke! I've been to places like Nobu, but Cafe Dozo is absolutely top notch. Every item was made to perfection and melted in your mouth like butter! Don't walk, run here!

This sushi experience was so great! I was so hungry and I found this place nearby, so I waited 3 hours until they opened. I was the first guest inside, and was fortunate to talk to the chef and waitress as I watched him prepare my food. I had the salmon sashimi, which was amazing. The Philadelphia roll was amazing, too! I would definitely recommend this cute restaurant for an affordable sushi meal.

A very lovely little place in the middle of Lisbon. High-quality ingredients make good sushi and this restaurant does not skimp! We had the sushi platter for 2 (pictured) and have to say it was some some of the best I've had in a while! Nice atmosphere, almost like a hidden secret down the smaller streets of the area. Quick service and a good selection. The unagi (5 pieces) was a big hit too.

Nice small place, the chef silently making your food while you watch him and then he proceeds to give you those amazing rolls is just great!! Recommended! Also the two ladies are really kind!

10/10 experience. We had the deluxe sushi platter for two and it was super tasty. The fish was fresh and the chef prepared everything in front of us essentially. Highly recommend!! We couldn’t get enough. Thanks to the amazing chef and super friendly waitress ❤️

We came here for our first night in Lisbon, and it definitely didn’t disappoint! It’s a tiny restaurant but the food was so delicious we kept on ordering more. You can watch the skilled chefs prepare the food over the counter, service is lovely and very quick. Food quality was delightful, I’ve eaten a lot of sushi in my time and this rivals sushi from large metropolitan cities such as London and New York; you could tell how fresh everything is. Would absolutely come again!

WOW! Incredible!! Could not recommend highly enough. The best sushi restaurant. Tiny venue. Amazing fresh sushi immaculately prepared at the bar in front of you. Only 10 seats, 6 of which are at the bar. Delicious food, great service and a super range of Japanese drinks. Loved it 👌

After reading so many great reviews here on google maps I decided to try it and I was not disappointed. I am a fan of nigiris and all of them have very good sushi rice and a big portion of fish. I will recommend the scallop nigiri and the salmon belly nigiri as they are very juicy. The staff is also very friendly. I will visit this place again as soon as I am back in Lisbon ❤️

Just came today with my brother, it was his first time eating sushi. The food is delicious and the atmoshere was wonderful. So polite! Recommendation for Lisbon sushi tour! Just watch their working hours so you do not arrive during their break.

If there would be a possibility to write a review for one single place and rate it as the best sushi restaurant in the world I would choose this one. Truly amazing authentic experience with the best sushi we have tried. Small and cozy, but best service. 100% recommend to get your tastebuds buzzing 😋

This place is Amazing. Small sushi place where you will watch your food be prepared before your eyes; only seats about 10 people. The quality of the fish is simply amazing and the fusion of flavors in their rolls is simply genius. Do not hesitate to try. Being a new restaurant I imagine this, with time, will be one of the top sushi spots in Lisbon one day.

Omg the best sushi I've ever had in my life. There were so good. It's a really small place so we had the chance to see the chef preparing the food in front of us. Delicious 👌👌

One of the best sushi I ever had in my life. The products are insanely good: the rice is super tasty, the salmon literally melts in your mouth… I will have dreams about these sushi for a long time. Service was amazing and super quick, there are only a few tables inside. You see see the chef making your sushi to order, you cannot get fresher sushi than this. Please do visit this place if you ever are in Lisbon !

Best sushi place I've ever visited. The chef is allways friendly, his technique is amazing to watch and his own creations are to die for (the sushi roll with Philadelphia and salmon might sound strange, but is the best he has).

Cafe Dozo was an amazing gem that we found in Lisbon. I'm a bit picky about sushi quality since there are so many options, so we ended up choosing to have lunch here based on the reviews and location. To our surprise, it was really one of the best sushi experiences we've had: all the products were prepared carefully, every ingredient was fresh and the service was amazing. I'll definitely recommend the sushi sets and the omakase, but overall I can say this is a must place to eat if you enjoy sushi and Japanese food.

We came here on our second night and absolutely loved it. The food was fresh and amazingly delicious. We are big sushi lovers and could not believe how absolutely tasty everything we ordered was. We loved it so much, we came back on our last night in Lisbon so we could end on a high note.

I had the California Special Roll and it was exquisite. Perfect touch of sweet teriyaki and very fresh fish. Great little restaurant, definitely worth the uphill hike!

Me and my friends visited this small but very cute and original Japanese restaurant, everybody was nice and polite, and the food was AMAZING! I had the sake nigiri and the Philadelphia lovers, and I can only recommend. I know my way around sushi and I can say that this is the best sushi I have ever eaten!
