Our stay at Blue Liberdade was impeccable. The Deluxe Room with views on the square and 2 balconies was simply magical. Best location: metro right in front. New and renovated hotel. High ceilings - well decorated. Comfy beds. The staff was incredibly nice - they helped us book taxis and went beyond their way to make sure we had a nice stay. We arrived early in Lisbon and they set up our room quicker and kept our luggages while we went out for a stroll. They even brought our luggage in the room for us. Very clean and we enjoyed little details like free water bottles and coffee at the lobby. There is an amazing pastry shop next door too. The building itself too is gorgeous. Really can’t find any complaints and we will stay here again.

Absolutely a wonderful experience staying here! The room was cleaned everyday, with fresh linens and drinks, simple breakfast options are also available. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I would recommend it for anyone staying in the Lisbon area.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for our needs. It's very central to all areas of Lisbon and its a 2 minute walk to the train station and even closer to the metro. Although the rooms are small, every detail was well thought out. The bed was super comfy and the room and bathroom were really clean and modern. As an added bonus, the mini fridge was refilled every day for free! Felt like it should have been much more expensive than the price we paid. The street behind the hotel has some lovely looking restaurants and there is also an incredible donut shop (scoop n dough) which I'd really recommend. Also very convenient to head to the bars in barrio alto through the train station. Staff were very friendly and helpful also. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon.

Wonderful hotel. Every staff member we encountered was extremely helpful and friendly. We arrived early but were allowed to complete check in and left our luggage. When we returned an hour later our room was ready and our luggage placed in the room! The room was a bit small (the only thing that's not perfect about Blue LH) but very comfortable, outlets by each bed stand and the desk, a selection of pillows, luxurious sheets and towels. The shower had hot water instantly and did NOT run out all over the bathroom floor (if you are familiar w/ hotels throughout Europe you'll understand)!!!

Lovely experience staying here! A great seafood restaurant just right in front of the hotel. Everything is so sparkling clean, modern design and great service. Free sparkling wine is provided. Really convenient location, right in front of a metro station and centre to most attractions around it. The only thing is that the room is a little small. Though we are still quite OK with that.

We loved this hotel! From incredibly friendly and helpful day and night staff, to delicious and included sparkling wine, mini bar, and espresso in the lobby, we loved absolutely everything about this place! Only complaints were that the rooms were very small, and parking was expensive (but close in proximity to the hotel), even with a hotel discount, at about 25 euros/day. We were very grateful however, for the complementary room upgrade with a balcony view of the city, how quiet the room was (didn’t even need earplugs), and all the food recommendations from staff were incredible! (They even offered and helped us make a dinner reservation which was extremely kind). Bedding was luxurious and extremely comfortable. Bathrooms were spacious and very clean too. Fantastic hotel, and cannot recommend enough!!

Excellent stay. Comfortable beds, well appointed rooms even if a bit small. Excellent location for walking the downtown area. And, one of the best seafood restaurants in town. Usually quite a wait.

Great hotel! Highly recommended for staying in the heart of the city. Absolutely amazing staff. They helped me get refunded by the taxi company which charged me more than the standard rate for the transfer to airport. Very helpful and friendly approach. The room was tiny but very comfortable, nicely decorated and clean.

This hotel is simply wonderful. The location is truly unbeatable. It is situated right in the heart of the city center. Additionally, there are numerous exceptional restaurants located within walking distance. The hotel itself is exceptionally clean and offers modern rooms equipped with all the necessary amenities. Guests can also enjoy complimentary drinks and pastries downstairs. The staff is incredibly helpful and genuinely dedicated to assisting guests and ensuring their needs are met. All of these remarkable features are available at a reasonable price.

Super tidy and charming hotel, best location, great showers, deluxe rooms very roomy, great staff, fine breakfast. Can’t be beat for a holiday. For business, it can be tough getting in and out in AM or PM rush hours, so that’s the only possible downside. But seriously, the best hotel we’ve stayed at this price range anywhere in Europe.

Highly recommended. Nicely designed rooms, although not as spacious. But this seems to be a general Lisbon thing. Even though it looks on a busy square, the room was very quiet. For full perfection a few details could be improved (on the white shower floor small spots of paint had worn off which made it look dirty at first glance). Very friendly staff.

Blue Liberdade I LOVE YOU! This hotel was super nice! The staff was so wonderful, I cannot remember the name of the staff member but she has blonde hair….. cut into a bob, she made sure all of my needs were met and provided impeccable service my entire stay!!!! The location was great, near trains, trams, buses and shopping! I was able to access the city with such ease from my hotel!

Our stay at Blue Liberdade was short but sweet. We had an 11 hour layover on our way home from Europe and decided to get a last minute room at this beautiful looking hotel. We arrived late and received friendly greeting from the gentleman working the front desk (apologies, I forget his name). We were upgraded to room with a view of the plaza which we were very grateful for. The room itself was small but very clean with modern finishes. I wish we had another day to enjoy the stay and see more sights. We plan to stay here again if/when we return to Lisbon.

We stayed here for two nights and I wish we would have booked it for our entire trip! The beds/pillows are so comfortable. The location is wonderful, close to many shops, restaurants, and the metro is right out front. Breakfast was wonderful. The showers were phenomenal and lastly the staff was amazing!

This was a little jewel in Lisbon. The location was really great, and the room provided all we needed for our trip. The staff have a very proactive attitude, they are polite and look after you amazingly. The decor is creative and unexpected. The room was beautifully appointed and clean. The beds are comfy, and the shower is big enough for two. Breakfast was really plentiful. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location, can walk to many of the best neighbourhoods in Lisbon. Front desk staff extremely courteous and lovely. Amenities were fantastic, the rooms very clean, recently refurbished and the beds absolutely to die for, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud! The breakfast also was great, plenty of choice on offer. Thank you for an amazing stay!

The Blue Liberdade is going up in my list of the best hotels. Such a great experience, with great staff and all the amenities that made our stay very special. We stayed in the 301 room, with a lovely view of the Restauradores Square. Although all the rush in the street, yet a very silent room with such smooth bed linen - we had a great sleep. The location is more than perfect, close to the best tourist spots, restaurants, stores, and the metro station. A place you should stay.

What a gem! Everything about this hotel was a 10. You can't beat the central location, which makes so much of Lisbon accessible by foot. It's near fabulous restaurants and shopping, as well. The hotel itself is clean, stylish, and offers great amenities.... comfy beds, cozy rooms, fabulous window views, and daily breakfast. The staff is super friendly and helpful, too. We had a great experience at Blue Liberdade, which definitely solidified my desire to return to this magnificent city and this quaint and exceptional hotel.

This hotel is exactly as advertised. The room I booked was the room from the listing photos with a lovely view of the square outside, it was quiet, clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. The staff were quick and accommodating with perfect English. The room had extra amenities like a free mini bar, I had full control of the AC settings and the shower was a dream. I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again if I am ever in Lisbon.

Beautiful room with fresh, interesting decor. I am absolutely in love with the bathroom. Love the shower. Super comfy beds were also very welcome. The staff was perfect - anticipating needs and creating solutions where needed. Always warm and welcoming upon daily returns from visiting Lisbon. Lots of nice little touches too like coffee and cava in the lobby. Will plan on staying here everytime I'm in Lisbon!

Such an incredible stay- it’s been a long time since I’ve stayed at a hotel that’s made such a noticeable effort to make a stay as comfortable and nice as possible. Location is perfect for exploring the city, well within walking distance of the best restaurants, bars and the waterfront. The room was modern, freshly decorated, incredibly clean and comfortable. Space was cosy and the only drawback was the limited storage space for clothes, but between tabletops, chairs and cases it was fine. Really nice touch that the minibar is restocked everyday with complimentary water, soda, juice and a beer, while the reception is always fully stocked with coffee, juice, sparkling wine and water - in addition to mini natas tarts (all complimentary for guests). Staff were especially friendly and helpful, going the extra mile to help book restaurant reservations and share recommendations on where to visit/ see in the city.

Centrally located small hotel in Lisbon. Our room was quite small but very clean and served our purpose. Bathroom was very bright and cheerful. Staff was amazingly friendly. Also priced very fairly. I highly recommend this hotel.

I can highly recommend this hotel, after our recent 3 week stay here. We initially selected it because it’s extremely well located for out of town visitors, with a metro stop close by, plenty of restaurants in the area, and a taxi stand 2 blocks away. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with good beds, efficient temperature control, and a pillow “menu” so we could request the feather pillows we preferred. The breakfast room was well set up with a lovely buffet and selection of coffees. The entire staff was so welcoming and kind, we looked forward to chatting with them every day.

Gorgeous room and location, wonderful people working there. Fully recommend! (That being said, I wish hotels wouldn‘t write to guests privately about changing review ratings as that‘s a bit strange.)

Really small but cozy rooms with a nice balcony (lack of storage space). Boring breakfast that was every day (4 days) the same, and the selection was poor. Nice that you can sit outside of the hotel. Always depends on what you compare with though. Kind staff, water/coffee/fruit available at reception. Overpriced for what you get. For that reason, good for 1-2 nights but no longer stay. Great location at the metro.

I loved my stay at the Blue Liberdade in May 2023! The staff was so helpful with any questions, booking tours, giving directions, even recommending a place for a pedicure! The hotel location was perfect. Very convenient for shopping and reaching popular tourist sites. My room was perfect as they were able to accommodate my request for 2 single beds. It was a bit of a bummer not having a true closet, but there is a hanging rank and you can request more hangers if needed. The complimentary cava and water in the lobby was a nice touch. You can't go wrong staying here!

We booked a super spontaneous trip to Lisbon and couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay at. The staff is absolutely outstanding! Perfect location for a little weekend getaway.. they even congratulated me to my birthday - what a thoughtful surprise! Thank you! We will for sure come back!

Really beautiful and clean hotel, rooms are very small. But for a short stay it‘s more than enough. Staff is very friendly and always smiling. And the best is the location of the hotel. You are in the centre of Lisbon. I can recommend this beautiful hotel

+ Great location, right downtown and next to a subway stop as well as the Rossio train station. + Very comfortable beds and a walk-in shower. + Very helpful staff. + Good soundproofing both for other rooms and for outside. + A decent breakfast. - Only 1 small elevator for the building so occasionally there can be a bit of a wait. - Air conditioning was aggressive but this seems common with Portugal hotels in general. Had to pump the thermostat up to 27 to stop from freezing. - Rooms are small as others mentioned but that's a typical reality of modestly priced hotels right downtown in popular tourist cities.

Very cozy boutique hotel in the centre of Lisbon. Great location next to metro, train and attractions. Just a short walk from all neighbourhoods. Cozy modern rooms and excellent breakfast. The staff are very polite and friendly. Great choice of stay in Lisbon.

Rooms are well furnished and spotless. The staff is ready to serve and a delicious breakfast is available in a quaint dining room. Fabulous seafood restaurant attached. But you can’t beat the location on the city’s most prestigious avenue.
