Beautiful hotel with great staff! We were staying there for one week in late July and it was fantastic. We got one of the rooms with a terrace which I can recommend. We loved the atmosphere at the hotel with so many plants and artwork everywhere. The fact that there was a pool where you can relax in the afternoon was definitely a highlight. But the breakfast at the pool was also memorable. The welcome team and the restaurant staff were great, too. I will definitely come back again next time I visit Lisbon.

I'm leaving two reviews: 1) restaurant and 2) hotel. 1) Ate the pork steak last night and got the worst food poisoning that I've had in a very long time. As I was paying, the sweats and nausea started. I barely made it to my room after passing out in the corridor for a few minutes. I'll spare you the details but needless to say I was vomiting and sitting on the toilet on and off all night. Bottom line: avoid the restaurant. The food was lackluster and it's not worth risk. 2) Hotel is decent but overpriced. Room is quite small. Bed is comfortable. When you shower the water gets all over the bathroom floor. I think you can get similar quality for about 2/3 of the price in Lisbon based on my past experience. The staff were very friendly.

Absolutely gorgeous! This hotel really surpassed all of our expectations, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast was fantastic, not your typical hotel food, but really delicious, healthy, chef made, fancy brunch food. You can really see the care it was put in every little single detail here. The rooms were amazing and the design of the entire building is exquisite. Not to mention the very nice pool in the middle of a very cute vertical garden. In summary: a beautiful oasis in the middle is Lisbon, worth every penny!

Beautiful hotel. Gorgeous exterior. The pool is amazing and was well needed when the weather got hot. It was a perfect haven in the city. Breakfast was outstanding and I will miss it. Staff are amongst the friendliest hotel staff I have ever met. Would not hesitate to recommend this gem to anyone.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, hands down. We felt totally welcomed from Day 1. The pool and complimentary daily breakfast are the big standouts. The stylish, calm jungle atmosphere with a tasty menu (great wine!) and comfortable rooms made our entire stay relaxing, delicious, and memorable. The only improvements might be a full size bed (queen or king rather than 2 twins pushed together) and a couple more lounge chairs around the pool (although the space was used wisely), but we still had an overall perfect stay at Hotel Hotel. Will be back 💯

A trendy and chic hotel located ideally in a safe yet well situated area of Lisbon. We loved how warm and friendly the staff were - from greeting us and providing suggestions when we spoke with them. The breakfast was delicious! From fresh pastries to a la carte selections. My only hesitation about the hotel is the smallness of the room. The bed was soft and perfect but took up most of the space such that one could not have two open suitcases in the room at the same time - and I even booked a standard sized hotel. I never felt unsafe walking around at night to/from the hotel. We didn’t have to try dinner but the dining room was positively buzzing whenever we walked by - a very good sign!

Our stay was truly enjoyable. The hotel's ideal location, delicious breakfast, and the kind gesture of providing a complimentary meal when we arrived early made our experience exceptional. The service was consistently pleasant throughout our stay.

Wonderful hotel located very central, easy to get the metro to/from the airport. Friendly and very polite staff. We were kindly upgraded to a Terrace Room which was highly appreciated. Breakfast consists of a moderately sized buffet and an à la carte menu, all delicious. Highly recommend!

We chose Hotel Hotel based on a New York Times "36 Hours in Lisbon" feature article and we were not disappointed. By far the best "included" hotel breakfast we've ever had including buffet of local charcuterie, cheeses, fruits, bread, house made jams as well as full menu choices and unlimited coffee, cappuccino, and mimosas. All served by charming helpful staff. Excellent front desk services. Great location. Modern clean rooms are small but efficient. Have stayed at one of the parent company's other hotels "Timber Cove" on California coast with similar fond memories. Highly recommend it if you enjoy the boutique hotel experience.

Lovely hotel in a very nice area. The icing on the cake was the breakfast options. European hotels are not known for their breakfast but the chef at Hotel Hotel does an amazing spread. Loved the selection of tropical fruits, the selection of bread/ cold meats and more importantly the hot breakfast options. All amazing and wonderfully plated up. Loved it!!! Service by all staff was also very good. Great place for a break.

Love love love this place :) go stay, leave as a part of their family! One of my favorites in central Lisbon (and I’ve gotten around!) The garden/pool area are incredible - Animal restaurant is well worth your time too! An all round success!

I can’t emphasize on thing only, Room is cozy, service is top botch but the location is the cherry on top of the cake. It is the like caramel sauce. Everything is within walking distance that is what I care about. Staff is very friendly. Great view. I would come again to lisbon just to experience this again.

An amazing hotel with an excellent location. The rooms are clean and well-designed, though they might feel a bit cramped if you have a lot of luggage. The breakfast was outstanding, offering both buffet and à la carte options that were tasty and of excellent quality. However, the standout feature of the hotel was the exceptional service. From check-in to check-out, the staff, especially Vera and Maria, went above and beyond.

Just had the most amazing stay here to celebrate our anniversary and were thoroughly spoiled from beginning to end- wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this fabulous hotel! The location is excellent and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. We loved the interior design and the stunning courtyard garden although it would have been great if the pool was warmer. We also ate in the restaurant which was excellent, especially in the gorgeous surroundings. The customer service from Vera and Eidymara was second to none; and all staff encountered were warm, friendly and helpful. We certainly hope to return in the near future.

This hotel was AMAZING! The check in staff was so friendly, our room was perfect and we loved taking advantage of the amazing balcony we had as well as the hotel pool. The included breakfast was delicious and when we dined for lunch, my goodness, one of our most memorable meals in Portugal! We decided to get spontaneous tattoos and the concierge staff was super helpful in getting us set up with the tattoo artist and the tattoo shop on site is really cool and super clean. We've already recommended this hotel to all our friends traveling to Portugal and hope to come back one day!

My stay at this hotel was brilliant! So many staff to look after you and really new and cool. It felt calming and nice. Restaurant at the hotel was great too, like really nice! Breakfast was both buffet and a la carte. This is now my go to hotel in Lisbon!

This hotel and all the staff are absolutely fantastic. Tiago and Bruno at the main reception will go above and beyond for you, to make sure you're well taken care of. Will also help you with any questions about your visit to Lisbon. Many thanks for your help, gentlemen! The food in the restaurant is delicious and the presentation of the meals with beautiful! It had a wonderful lobby bar and a beautiful pool, in a jungle setting. So unique and fun! Very clean, cozy rooms with a great shower. Very comfy beds, too. This hotel is very close walking distance to all the things you'd ever want to see/visit. Very safe area, too. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!!!

We had a fantastic stay at O Hotel Hotel. We were lucky enough to have a room upgrade which was a really nice bonus. The hotel is beautifully designed but smaller than it looks online (no bad thing). The service is excellent. Everyone without fail is so friendly, attentive and helpful. The ladies at breakfast provide a particularly happy and smiley start to the day. I think the pool area is a bit underwhelming in truth and we didn’t see anyone in the pool across our entire 3 night stay. But regardless, we loved it and would stay there again.

This is a very good hotel. The location is perfect as you are close to everything you need and the cool districts are within walking distance, yet it is remarkably peaceful. The food - especially breakfast - is excellent. The common areas are well thought out and restful. Some of the rooms are quite compact if you have lots of large suitcases but if you talk to the front desk team they will sort this out. Which leads to the very best part of Hotel Hotel, which is the staff. They really are excellent. They are pleasant, polite and efficient but most of all they make you feel welcome in a way that other hotels just do not achieve. I cannot speak highly enough of all of them - we were there nine days and there was not a single moment when we felt anything other than really well looked after. I would like to list them all by name but I am afraid of missing someone out. I would however like to thank all of them. We will certainly return.

Excellent stay! It started with a lovely greeting from Patricia, including a pastry and glass of port! The room was cozy and had a view of the garden pool. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and the house staff was attentive and friendly. We will definitely come back!

This review may come a little late- but we stayed at hotel hotel in October with my husband and toddler. We had the most incredible experience. The rooms are extremely clean, the staff is the nicest- to the point of almost becoming friends. The food at the restaurant was delicious which is essential for when you travel w a toddler and wants to stay in for the night. They have incredible sushi! Breakfast was also delicious. And let’s not forget fado music once a week which was magic.

My friend and I recently stayed at the hotel for four nights and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. The hotel is conveniently located near an underground station, making it easy to explore the area. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the staff, and noticed small details such as complimentary drinks at the reception that added a personal touch to our stay. Our room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and filled with surprises that made our time there even more enjoyable. We were blown away by the exceptional customer service we received from the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was as comfortable and memorable as possible

I've come to Lisbon many times and stayed in different hotels and this one so far has been the best one. Great service, great atmosphere, nice and modern rooms, awesome breakfast. The location is also very good. Great value for money.

I had a fantastic stay at HOTEL HOTEL this past week. The service was outstanding, the room was hip & well-designed, and the complimentary breakfast rivaled some of the meals I had in Lisbon (it was that good). The location was unbeatable and I cannot wait to recommend this place to all my friends looking to go to Lisbon.

Hip hotel with nice rooms in a very convenient location in Lisbon. The staff really is the best: super friendly and doing everything to make you feel welcome and at home. Especially the staff at breakfast really went the extra mile (I was even offered a complimentary mimosa). Definitely a hotel to recommend, and I would love to go back some day. Thanks to the entire team for making my stay so memorable. Keep up the great work :-)

Best hotel I've ever experienced. The staff are amazing and so friendly. Take the time to get to know them and they honestly can not do enough to help - we will miss them. The pool is amazing but hard to get a lounger as some guests seem to want to never move once they get comfy, fair enough I suppose. Comfyist beds ever. Great breakfast. Just love it all.

At the end of a break in Portugal we were returning to Lisbon for our last night and we couldn’t have picked a better hotel. The rooms and outdoor areas are stunning including the pool (unusual to find in a city centre). The staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. We will definitely return the next time we visit Lisbon.

We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Super friendly people, clean, nice architecture, sweet pool area. 1) It is super clean and the room service is super quick and very clean. Always a bottle of fresh water in the room. For the welcome we even received Pastel de Nata. 2) Really great service - all of the people in the hotel are super friendly and helpful and they enjoy taking to you. 3) Breakfast included: we had the breakfast included which is freshly made and a lot of fresh fruit and fresh orange juice. 4) Pool area: clean pool and towels are provided at the reception. We would definitely stay here again, everything was super nice. Reasonable price as well.

Excellent hotel, rooms very clean and modern. Customer service absolutely perfect throughout. Great to have a pool and love the abundance of greenery. Ate in the restaurant for dinner and whilst the choice was limited, everything I ate was delicious and both Vera & Daniel made sure I had a relaxed and very enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend.

We loved this hotel: Only stayed one night, but we are definitely coming again. The vertical garden walls and pool offer an oasis to escape to after a long hot day walking around the attractions of central Lisbon. Our room had a terrace as well and it was brilliant. I look forward to staying again soon.
