Velho Mirante is one of the oldest restaurants of Pontinha. it is a great place for a Sunday meal, always with fresh products. You won't be disappointed!

Friendly staff, delicious food, generous portions, comfortable and clean setting. Went there with my boyfriend and loved it.

Good food, not cheap though

I had a marvelous dinner in the top room, with beautiful alfrescos covering the walls. The risotto was excellent as was the coconut cake. I enjoyed the pumpkin soup and the veal with coffee sauce, though I would have the veal less “well done” next time. An excellent choice for a group gathering (which we did) or for a romantic dinner for two. The building and its interiors are simply stunning.

Went here with my friend on a busy Tuesday evening. We were welcomed by very kind staff who showed us to our table and was then offered the drinks menu. There was a great selection of drinks available from local wines to sizzling spirits. The food was INCREDIBLE! The pork cheeks and sea bass were both amazing. Not to forget the octopus salad starter is a must try! The whole evening was superb and the owner was very welcoming. If your in the area you need to visit this place, you won’t be disappointed :)

One of the best restaurants ! Portions are large, reasonably priced, great service and great ambiance. Just on the main road. Lot of choices in food, wine and desserts. Must try place.
