Very small but super cozy restaurant. Very good selection of music. Comfortable chairs with pillows. Large variety of toasted sandwiches. Good portuguese traditional cousine dishes. Very comfortable and quiet place.

Recently, we found a new great eatery five minutes drive from the Belem Cultural center. This restaurant is not easy to find - it's located inside a big apartment complex with no sigh visible from a street. Fortunately, my husband and I found it and had a wonderful dining experience last Sunday after the concert in BCC. We were first customers that night and had a chance to chat with one of the owners about this several month old business. Jose is upbeat and charming with great attention to his guests' needs. His friend and a co-owner is in the kitchen, invisible for customers but he is churning out dishes with a speed that any "big and famous" restaurant would envy. The quality of every plate we ordered was outstanding - the burger was tender and juicy, the onion soup was full of flavor, a simple mixed green salad had a special touch. They even bake their own fresh dinner rolls for every order of a ham/ cheese board - this bread looks and tastes irresistible. While we were enjoying our food, this tiny place became full to the capacity - there are about 15 seats inside and about the same outside. With attention to every detail, the owners provide cushions on the benches inside and blankets for customers outside. Reservation is highly recommended. Thanks again for a great meal, Jose!

a very pleasant place with great background music! the waiter was lovely and the food very good! we took the cheese fondue which is very hearty so to take as a group and not when you come as a couple !! I highly recommend the lemon mousse: a pure delight !!

We discovered this place thanks to the fork, and we were pleasantly surprised. We wanted to try typical Portuguese food, and it had good options, the menu was not very extensive, but there were good dishes. We opted for the vegan alheira, which was incredible, and the rye bread stuffed with cheese, which apart from being a large quantity was very good. Somewhat far away from the Belem tower, reasonable prices, we would repeat in La Alheira

A little disappointing, the food was pretty mediocre to say the least, the menu was short and they had sold out on many things so there was little to choose from. We ordered the pepper and hummus tosta and the peppers were missing because they had run out, so they only gave us bread with hummus, what a joke! We also ordered a Chouriço and it was full or cartilage and inedible. The cheese board was small and miserable. Watch your bill, they tried to over charge us.

Friendly staff. Menu is very limited and meals are not special. The terrace and (very small) restaurant are in the middle of a square with only buildings. No ambiance.

We were just passing here & called in for supper. The food & service were excellent. We had olives & bread + a mixed meat & cheese board. Everything was really tasty, the port was very good as well.
