Museu Banksy - Lisbon

Art museum

👍👍 It was really nice, not very busy, not deserted either. Not too big of a space so you won't spend hours there, although it rounds to be a really nice experience. Especially if you're specifically into Banksy's aesthetic and thought (it's a good collection of his work) People often mention Banksy, visit, museum, collection, work, exhibition, nice, recommend, experience, Banksy',

Very nice gallery for those who already are familiar with Banksy’s art. I think it would be helpful to provide a bit more historical background. Anyhow, a good collection of reproductions of Banksy’s work including most recent pieces in Ukraine. Well worth a visit.

Nice collection of banksy pieces. Worth a visit , if student recommended bring identification for discount. 24 euros for two adults. Two floors worth of exhibits, may take 25-30 minutes to view everything. Worth the visit would recommend

Great small gallery showing a Banksy exhibit in summer 2022. It's a fun multimedia and 3dimensional recreation of Banksy street art from around the world. Gallery is on 2 floors with stairs. Convenient location near Saldanha Atrium.

This was a great little museum. To read through all the descriptions and have a good look would take about 1hour and a half. We got through in about an hour. It has a great collection of Banksy's works and loved the description plaques. It is much better than the one we visited in Montpelier, France. I recommend you visit! Someone had mentioned a gift shop, but it had nothing worthwhile of note for me, but still really worth the 12€.

This is not a regular museum. It is a smallish museum presenting some work from Banksy. If you don't know Banksy, it is best to do some research before a visit. Each and every piece is interesting. Each piece has information about its history, reasoning and other background reasoning for it. Two hours went by just like that. One hour is minimum time to properly go through the museum. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. There is also a pretty good gift shop form which we found some gifts to be taken back home for friends.

O staff também foi muito querido Recomendo 100%

The Banksy Museum is nothing short of extraordinary. It's a captivating showcase of one of the most enigmatic and influential artists of our time. The art on display is both thought-provoking and visually stunning, and the museum's commitment to preserving Banksy's anonymity adds an extra layer of intrigue to the experience. If you're in search of a unique and unforgettable art encounter, the Banksy Museum is an absolute must-visit.

The Banksy Exhibition at the Capsule Gallery near Saldanha was a wonderful experience. Although just reproductions of his work, it is still wonderful to admire the social messages displayed in his art. Not a very large gallery, so not much walking. Conveniently located near metro stations. Went at opening hours, so not many people and the 12 € tickets can be purchased online. Highly recommended.

A great way to see Banksy's works all in one place! They also have a very nice reproduction of Banksy Bathroom and Hotel room. Fun to go with friends and children.

Very near metro. A wonderful museum. So amazing not only to see Bansky's artwork but to read the background story on it.

Very cool museum! If you like Banksy you should definitely go there, the small shop inside also has a good selection of merch items to buy. We really enjoyed the exhibition and it was well signposted with the title and explanation of the works. Everything was beautifully staged. The only star deduction: Not air-conditioned. Bring water and drink lots of water!

WOW SO REFRESHING... Remarkable moments of true art. As soon as you think you understood Bansky, then you're confused & realize you're only grasping his breath. Think again. Now feel. I'd like to call them masterpieces but then I'm completely wrong, not his intention. Once we all wanted to be Bansky without knowing. Delighted I've pass by the museum to see this collection. I was about to visit the Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga, but decided to spend "only 10 minutes" on the show, what ended up being like 2 hours of thinking, and talking with interesting people.

One of my favorite museums ever. I love 97% of his messages. I'd love to sit down with him at dinner and visit. Great displays. I truly had the best time and took a photo of every piece!!!!!! Terrific.

I'm a big fan of Banksy, making it a must-see for me! It takes around 60-90 minutes if you want to read all the descriptions and capture some photos. Despite my overall enjoyment, I noticed a few misspelled descriptions, suggesting room for improvement. While I appreciate the raw feel of the exhibition, I'd suggest adding a touch of sophistication ('poshing' it up) and adjusting the light temperature. The absence of a cloakroom for bags was a disappointment; they explained it was removed due to some issues they encountered. Despite these minor considerations, I still wholeheartedly recommend the Banksy exhibition. The thought-provoking art and unique atmosphere make it a captivating experience for any Banksy enthusiast or art lover.

It was an experience to visit this museum! Banksy is a very special provocative artist with an often bizarre sense of humor that not everyone likes. It was also a surprise to find the museum in Lisbon, but a greater experience to visit the museum!

Not sure if someone is ripping Banksy off... the tickets are somewhat pricey and the work selection is (to some extent) representative

Quite overpriced and touristic but you can learn a lot about Banksy’s works from this exhibition.

Social message of Banksy is clear from his works. Good collection of “unofficial” collection. Good work was done to complete exhibition and well worth few metro stops from the city

Nice little gallery, not expensive and not so huge your legs ache by the end. Exhibit we saw was well curated but was only copies of the art, not the originals (was a Banksy exhibit).
