Stumbled upon this restaurant after a hike and it's a gem! Really delicious food and super accommodating service. We sat outside for lunch and they turned on the gas heater for us :) The turbot is cooked very nicely, soft but with a bounce! Dry age steak is great, very flavourful. Especially love the fries and I'm picky about my fries. Will come back to try other dishes in the future!

Highly recommended to make a trip to this restaurant. Place seems to be local favourite and not a tourist trap. Recommendation for the wine was excellent. Service was super nice and waiters were very accommodating.

Fancy-ish local restaurant for locals. Considering there are no good places in this area, this one stands out. Though you should understand it’s a local experience, so you can expect more greasy food, not many flavors etc. Food is good but locally good. Atmosphere is nice. Stuff is semi-welcoming. Prices are too high for this kind of experience. Havent tried meat, but seems it should be nice.

For being a "non-seafood" place, this was one of our favorites in Lisbon. The service can be a bit slow but they are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable (especially when it comes to wine), and have great recommendations. For meat/steak eaters, food was phenomenal (albeit expensive for Lisbon) and ambience was really great and perfect for having a long night out. Make sure to book in advance because they were packed on a Tuesday when we went. Also, if you're staying in the center of Lisbon make sure to plan in advance because you have to cab to get here.

Nice restaurant but I dont understand why they have this loudspeaker with a poor sound making too much noise and 2 tv screens. If you shall enjoy your dinner you must be able to focus on your friends. The meat was okay but we had to ask them to cook it some more. Very friendly staff but with some stress.

Went last month and it did not disappoint. Amazing steak and loved their red wine. Service was great too. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for an alternative to fish.

Really rude service. The waiter did not make any eye contact. Barely spoke three words to us. We sat there for more than half an hour and did not even had the chance to order a drink. So we left and had to pay almost 60 euros for starters we did not order. Really bad vibes. Honestly, there are plenty of nice restaurants in Lisboa. This is not one of them!

Bit tucked away so try get a booking in advance. We’ve been to restaurants in Lisbon where you’re greeted with starters on the house. Here we were greeted with the same, but charged 15 euros before we ordered anything! Plus, we wanted to know more about the sides, but were advised to upgrade to a different steak, 10 euros more expensive without answering the question about the side. The food was lovely, but felt a bit hustled/squeezed for extra which soured the taste…

What a spectacular meal this was! Our server Miguel truly went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best dining experience ever! The chef, Filipe "El Padrino" Marques was a true legend! He came by our table before every course to ensure we had the best pairing of food and wine based on our dietary needs! The Octopus croquettes appetizer was really good, and we loved the bread and the butter and ricotta cheese. We then shared the razor clams with rice, and this dish was super fresh, and delicious. My wife also loved their sushi rice dessert. We can't thank Filipe and Miguel enough for such a tremendous dining experience!

Everything top class. Ambience, Service, food. Everything. We had Robalo with Cheese and Rib Eye Steak. The steak was one of the best. It was so so tender. Robalo was also nice and the potatoes with Robalo was very creamy and tender. The waiter (David) was very kind and very attentive. It's a great place to visit. Ambience was very cozy and we got complimentary drinks on valentine day.

As there’s not much in this area this restaurant really took me pleasantly by surprise. The food was really good, the ingredients were fantastic and the taste wonderful. The staff were very friendly and gave good recommendations. Must try, the brownie!! It’s a little pricey, but it’s worth it. It was full, so I recommend reserving!

Outstanding across the board. Having tried all the top steak restaurants across Lisbon and Algarve, this place is in a league of its own when it comes to beef quality. Shared the platter of different cuts with my party and all were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Well priced for what you get. Appetisers and sides were also excellent. Do not miss the pistachio fondant which is one of the best desserts I've had in my life. Jolly and helpful staff. Will see guys soon.

A restaurant further away from the noise of the city. When you step inside, a world of its own opens up. Delicious food from good ingredients. Expert service about wines and a really long list. A special mention for the dessert tiramisu. The dinner was such a great experience that the long trip to the restaurant was worth it!

Excellent food, good wine offer. Not cheap but very good value for money. Small space, and you may be sitting very tight but the food does worth it.

Overall food is pricy but wells deserved of that price tag. Service could improve but it's not bad or even close. Deserts are must

I really appreciate it when the staff and the chef take the time to go around each table and get feedback from their customers about the food that was served. The meat and wine were excellent!

Small...but ever so mighty! Food (two steaks, ribeye and dry aged sirloin and this totally amazing lobster and shrimp rice dish for two) was outstanding and the service was so engaging in a way that said: "we really care about you having a good time!" This is a must stop in Lisbon!

Great neighbourhood place. Staff is amazing. Food incredible. Can't recommend enough

  • 3/5 e m. 1 year ago on Google
It's good but it doesn't justify the price when compared to other restaurants.. It's cost €77 for two people, no starter, 2 mains, shared a dessert, some cafes and a bottle of wine.

  • 5/5 Nuno T. 1 year ago on Google
Full disclosure: it's expensive. However, what you get in return is something unforgettable. The matured T-bone was simply the best meat I've ever tasted (medium rare). The wine list is extensive and there's options to every wallet. The desserts are absolutely delicious and worth breaking whatever diet you're on (if any!) The staff is always available to assist and having the chef overseeing if everyone is happy is a nice touch. Booking is highly recommended.
