This place is awfully overrated. Yes, it has nice atmosphere inside. But there are stains on tableclothes and there is a persistent smell coming from the restroom. The owners of the restaurant will be very nice while talking to you, but for your money (big) you'll get very mediocre food. Food is totally overpriced. Same is the wine. Cocktails taste bad. But all comes with a bang! Not recommended.

Service: it’s amazing just like the other reviews are saying. Really really good if you like human touch. It’s very personalized and the owners take time and talk to each table. Ambiance: excellent, it’s a small place with around 6-7 tables and a few more outside. I saw customers being taken to “the other side” so I think they have another room on the same stretch. Food: that’s the part where I gave 4 stars although it’s more 3.5; it’s all right but now wow. But I would definitely return for that human touch

Our family can’t praise this restaurant enough. Chef Ana mingled with us throughout the meal going through the menu and bringing out fun games for the kids (pick up sticks and colouring). She was incredibly warm and welcoming. Prefect spot for a family and they were quite accommodating finding kid friendly options. The food was full bodied, creamy and flavourful. Everyone enjoyed their meals and wanted to savour each bite till the last mouthful ! If we could give 12 stars we would!

Nice atmosphere. We chose to eat inside. The food was very good. My niece and I both had the cod fish in paper that was delicious.

The most amazing dinner we had during our trip in Portugal! The vibes and the food were A+ and the staff went above and beyond. The waiter helped us choose a great wine to pair with the dinner. We had delicious shrimp curry and a fish dish. We had a chorizo starter that was fire roasted at the table. The owner was very friendly and fun to talk to. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Lisbon!

This restaurant has 2 spaces on the same street & they ferry the food from one to the other. We were sitting at a table near the door, so this was a bit distracting. The service can only be described as very individual. My partner was offered 4 wines to taste before he chose his glass. The menu reflects a lot of influences. My partner had chicken sate sticks for a starter & I had tuna with an Asian twist for my main. We enjoyed both courses. The souffle for dessert was a bit dry for me, but the mousse was delicious. Book, or you will be lucky to get a table.

We were searching for a place to eat on a Saturday night and we tried our luck without a reservation. Fortunately there was a table available and they accepted us. The restaurant is in a small ally. It has two parts - lounge and restaruant. We sat in the restaurant part, which only had 7/8 tables. But the atmosphere was very cosy and romantic. The menu was quite unique and dishes were specially designed by the owner Ana. It was lovely to hear the story behind the menu from her as she also worked in the restaurant and interacted with the guests. The food was very good and our shrimp, cod and salmon all tasted very fresh. The service was very attentive and accommodating. They had no issue of making us sangria when requested, despite it wasn't on the drinks menu. My only suggestion is that if the bread can be served warm and butter to be served softer, it would be perfect!

Lovely little restaurant with fantastic food and service. The chef was very kind and brought us a complimentary appetizer and salad. I particularly recommend the Moqueca, which was absolutely delicious.

WOW... Just WOW! Random Google search turned up this little hidden gem. Located between the hustle and bustle and big buildings... Well worth seeking it out. From the beginning, we KNEW it was gonna be great. Not the biggest wine drinker, we were given the chance to taste several wines based on what we told them we liked. Found the PERFECT one and didn't feel forced to drink a wine we didn't like. If you like White Wine... HIGHLY recommend the Lua Chela, pictured. The appetizers were AMAZING. My friend could not stop savoring the amazing flavor of the garlic shrimp. The entrees had the same flavor and were equally AMAZING. My friend had the tuna steak while I had the duck rice and BOTH were SPLENDID! We got to the dessert, shared an apple turnover with ice cream... And WOW. More WOW WOW WOW! It was so tasty and flaky and the combination of ice cream made it SUPERB! SO GOOD! The service was great. They were nice and friendly, and patient with us in ordering and were accommodating in everything! A MUST for anyone visiting Portugal!

This charming and intimate restaurant offers an exquisite dining experience, featuring dishes of exceptional quality that are prepared to perfection. The tuna steak, in particular, was outstanding, accompanied by delectably roasted potatoes and a fresh salad, all of which were simply delightful. The staff was attentive and exhibited great courtesy, enhancing my dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment for anyone seeking a memorable meal.

Go here for a romantic dinner with phenomenal food. I had the tuna, rare, with a bottle of red. The restaurant is down a charming, narrow road, which adds a ton to the experience. The restaurant is very small, with only a few tables, and the servers were very attentive but not intrusive. It was decorated very classy, perfectly dim lighting, and well selected music in the background. We finished the meal with a chocolate soufflé with berries, which my wife raved over. This was my favorite restaurant overall. You will thoroughly enjoy it.

The most amazing food and fantastic relaxed dining experience. The owners were such lovely hosts, made us feel like family. Fabulous goats cheese starter, chicken satay, rabbit, pork tenderloin, beef stroganoff all delicious, some great desserts if you have room and a great choice of wines. Recommend booking, we were lucky we got a table.

Amazing delicious and personal dining experience on a charming little stone street. Chef /owner shared origins of her dishes with her family history and travel adventures. A true chef and foodie. Also so accommodating for all the allergies. The beet hummus was best ever

This charming restaurant was the perfect choice for our Saturday’s dinner in Lisbon. Food was special and innovative, and service was impeccable and attentive, great music and amazing vibe and atmosphere. Ana & Manuel were really pleasant to chat with throughout the meal and were extremely detail orientated which made our entire experience nothing less than top notch. We’d love to come again when we are in Lisbon and could highly recommend everyone else to do so as well. Thank you! Until we meet again :) Kate & Eyal

This restaurant serves up some amazing authentic Portuguese dishes. The owner was so warm and welcoming. She noticed my kids were hangry and quickly fixed them some pasta. The staff gave us a wine tasting of some local wines and we let them pick our food selection for the night. The duck rice was really tasty. They really make you feel special in this cozy beautiful restaurant. Seriously the best dining experience on our visit to Portugal.

Why did I take only one pic? Because after our amazing aubergine appetizer (10 stars, don’t miss these!), I was super busy eating our most delicious dinner yet in Lisbon & being utterly charmed by their delightful owners and staff! Their filo was light, perfectly fluffy and stuffed with the exact right blend of season vegetables and feta, the tuna steak melted in my mouth, and their wine selection was phenomenal. Get here and be ready to rave about it the rest of your trip!

Small intimate dining experience with a family owned atmosphere. The menu was very well thought out, spanning many cuisines, designed to satisfy all taste buds. Well refined and tasty food, beautifully presented and served by passionate staff. Very knowledgeable about wine and other drinks as well. I could not recommend this restaurant more. One of the highlights of out trip to Lisbon!

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of dining at this cozy restaurant, and the experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the professional staff created a warm and inviting atmosphere that felt like a home away from home. The family atmosphere was evident in every aspect of our visit, from the friendly greetings to the attentive service. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and attended to, adding a personal touch to our dining experience. Our evening at this restaurant was more than just a meal – it was a delightful journey through a menu filled with love and expertise. If you're seeking a dining destination with professional staff, a family-friendly atmosphere, and dishes that are nothing short of perfection, this is the place to be. Highly recommended for those who appreciate the finer nuances of a culinary adventure.

This restaurant exceeded our expectations! It’s set in a lovely well lit green street narrow street of Lisbon, and there is more than enough seating whether inside or out. The staff were extremely welcoming and our waiter who assisted us mainly throughout the night, Michelle, was incredibly helpful and very nice to me and my girlfriend. As was the owner who came by a few times to ensure we were having a good time and good food. All the staff did a really good job and made this our favourite dinner yet. I got the beef sirloin steak and my partner she got the vegan leek pie. Both tasted 👌🏽 Would recommend this for a intimate date night or even a night out for dinner in general!

Ana is an amazing Chef… I absolutely fell in love with her magical cooking. God bless her hands!!! Manuel’s personality is lovable… I’m absolutely thankful that we went here… I’ll forever make a stop here whenever I am in Portugal… I highly recommend you to take a moment of your time and sit down and enjoy the lovely atmosphere and amazing food. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing atmosphere with seating outside in a cosy street. The servers were very friendly and attentive. The only drawback really is there could have been more flavour in the food. The shrimps for starters were great, but the poultry pie for main didnt quite deliver to expectations. It was good! But just not quite excellent in my opinion.

We found this restaurant located in a relaxing street with tables outside and inside available. I have to say it’s really the best restaurant in lisbon! I have been already twice here now because it’s authentic and delicious. The stuff is very friendly and the chef will come and talk to you personally about the daily specialties. Highly recommended.

Excellent experience! So warm and welcoming atmosphere, just 6 tables in the restaurant, so service is very very attentive and personal. You really feel here as a welcoming guest!!! Food is a great quality and big portions, amazing choice of wine for the specific dish, with wine degustation to find a proper option. Overall it was an amazing experience!

The food was really good and very well made - I’m glad that we went here by pure coincidence. The service was also very helpful and friendly giving it a very nice atmosphere. In the end the chef personally thanked us and asked us if everything was fine :) It is a bit on the pricey side but nonetheless totally worth it!

What a delight it was to have dinner at this small cosy restaurant (only 4 tables! Excluding the space at the other side of the alley). A special thanks goes out to co-host Manuel for letting us taste so many fantastic wines! What a way to start our holiday in Lisbon. Highly recommended.

Was looking for a late night dinner spot and found this gem. Cozy ambience and almost full middle of the week. The food was simply good. Shrimps with Garlic was finger licking tasty. Cod Fish a Braz took me a bit by surprise since I never had this dish before but it turned out to be good too! The service was spectacular - personal, attentive, thoughtful. The lovely Emanuel and Ana made me feel like home and brought me the best wine I could have asked for, and not asked for ;) It's absolutely inspiring to learn about the story behind this business, how it was created in the COVID-19 from this couple that was never in the restaurant business before! Reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend 12/10.

This restaurant is such a gem! Would recommend the aubergine as a starter, the curry for a main and a delicious chocolate tart as a dessert. The atmosphere was very relaxed and staff upbeat, happy and helpful.
