I normally don't do this but, the experience deserves to be shared. Expectations were high, the outcome was low. It all started ok, nice welcoming from the hostess, charming waiter, fair enough suggestions for chosing the proper menu for my taste but, little explanation and no interest on understanding what the customer wants to experience. Quite stiff, to be honest. Well rehearsed, seemed. Certain type of customers come to Cura and if you don't belong to it, they barely know how to treat you and guide you through the "journey". Need to be more envolving with what the chef wants to project and share with the people. Sincerely, I stopped paying attention to the menu as the evening went on exactly for the stiffness and average flavor and "guidance" I was getting. Reasons for visiting Cura shouldn't be just for the Michelin star, food needs to project and connect with the people, should as the staff. Overall: Overpriced, average experience. Fame ruins every place that is not grateful enough to serve the ones who make it great, the people...

Great dining experience at Cura! Warm and welcoming service folks which is one very important aspect of the whole dining experience. One place I definitely recommend dining when you’re in Lisbon. Doesn’t give u the feeling of BEING JUGDED as an Asian or that snobbish eye scanning 🤣. Dishes were definitely great! As an Asian, the 13course menu proved a lil too much for me. Nonetheless, love it here all in all.

We had the 10 course degustation dinner paired with wine tasting. The menu is wonderfully put together with emphasis in fish and sea food. The tastes and the plate decoration are delicately combined and every dish was delicious. Our favourite was the squid! The sourdough bread and the butter were divine! Wonderful! The service was outstanding, everyone was incredibly nice and polite.

Amazing! Delicious! Fantastic! We had the 12 course tasting menu + wine pairing and it was wonderful. The restaurant is very cozy and modern, with an open kitchen. The service is spectacular. The food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful, and the pairings were perfect. We had such a fun evening!

The dining experience at Cura Restaurant in the Four Seasons Hotel was lovely and refined. The food was expertly prepared, but unfortunately not particularly memorable. The service was top-notch and very soothing. However, the atmosphere was a bit plain and overly bright. The restaurant's location lacked any notable features, which was a letdown considering the Four Seasons Hotel's prime location in Lisbon. I was quite taken aback by the fact that a single glass of wine costs the same as a whole bottle purchased elsewhere. That was a major letdown. Overall, I am not inclined to return as the experience was not very inspiring.

Fabulous! One of the best dining experiences we’ve had - and we’re lucky enough to have enjoyed many. The attention to detail and flavours are off the scale. The team are friendly and a credit to the restaurant. My wife has a nut allergy- the menu was adapted wonderfully- and a stylish touch, she was given a literally unique menu. 100% recommend

We had the extended menu and a bottle of champagne for the meal, really thoughtful and wholesome experience. The wine pairings also looked very interesting. Great combination of flavours and the sommelier was also very helpful, as the rest of the staff

Absolutely the best dining experience I've ever had. The flavor combinations, colors, textures, and the creativity of the dishes made me think this had to be a two-star Michelin restaurant (it has one)! Chef Pedro Pena Bastos is amazing and humble. It was such a pleasure to watch as he and his team prepare their creations. I thought the food presentation might be better than the food, but it was second to the amazing, complex, and surprising combinations that worked perfectly. Chef even presented one of the dishes to our table himself. What does he do to the bread to make it so heavenly? In addition, I don't drink alcohol, so went for the non-alcoholic pairings and they were as creative as the food. Service was outstanding. It was like a well choreographed dance. For my son and I, it was a once in a lifetime experience (but hope we go back). In the Four Seasons Lisbon. We also tried the Michelin star Japanese restaurant (Kabuki) attached to the hotel and it didn't even remotely compare (food, service, ambiance was mediocre at best).

This restaurant oozes charm and the customer experience is impeccable from the moment you enter. The white port was sublime and the quality of the tasting menu food incredible. The majority of tables are thoughtfully set out with chairs side by side to foster a more intimate food experience with tables facing the kitchen. One of the courses is served personally by the chef and the menu beautifully presented at the end of the meal to remind you of your experience. Set inside the iconic Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Hotel

Clinical presentation and immaculate flavors on every dish presented to us. I had an amazing experience with alot of care from the service, there were no let downs. If I had to highlight a point to improve - I did miss some more bold/playfull aproach, maybe 1 or 2 out of the box dishes with a riskier concept exploration would elevate the tasting menu. But again, nothing really negative to say and flavors were perfect.

10/10 experience, everything was flawless. It was my boyfriend's birthday, we got seated at the best table of the restaurant, right in front of the Chef's station. The menu has a very strong Portuguese footprint, if youre a local you can expect familiar flavors and ingredients, but taken to another level! I enjoyed particularly the different textures with perfect layering, and also the game of mixed temperatures. every bite was a delight.

An unforgettable life experience! We celebrated the birthday of my partner and we had an exquisite dinner! We choose the 10 dégustation menu with one of the signature dish of the chef. Our table was located next to the kitchen so we could see the harmonious work of the kitchen team. The service was so thoughtful (the team adapted the menu according to my pregnancy), warm with a smile all along the dinner. Cherry on the cake: the chef came to each table to explain some of the step of the dégustation menu. Very kind and so appreciated attention. Thank you again for this once-in-a-life experience!

Excellent experience and amazing food at Cura. We went to a number of Michelin starred restaurants on a recent trip and this was the best. As I told the chef, the food tasted better than it looked and it looked great. The squid pasta dish was one of the best dishes we have had this year. Service was very attentive, knowledgable (ex-chef working front of house) and included casual discussion (including from Chef himself who served 2 courses) which is not always the case in some Michelin restaurants. We were lucky enough to be seated directly in front of the open kitchen so we saw how the entire team worked so well together.

You can't compare a Michelin 1 star restaurant to the average restaurants you see in tourist destinations, so let's compare it to the other two Michelin star restaurants we've visited in Portugal. The restaurant is located inside a Four Seasons Hotel and the restaurant staff are very professional and well trained. The satisfaction level was high. In the short course menu I ordered, the foie gras, tuna, and squid were very good, and the bread was also very delicious. However, overall, the seasoning is very strong, so there is a limit to feeling the natural taste of the ingredients. It seems that the chef's characteristic is food with a strong sauce, but I personally feel not perfect for that part, so I give it four stars.

Amazing restaurant. Food was sublime and at a fair price for the quality of it. We went for the Meia-Cura experience and it was just perfect quantity-wise. Staff was welcoming and professionnal. Must go if you're in Lisbon! My personnal favorite was the squid dish, followed by the beef. Enjoy!

An incredible dining experience! The food was absolute delicious - each course experimental and unique, but doesn’t alienate the diner. The service is impeccable - staff are very attentive and kind. The chef even came over to chat with us and he was super friendly.

Wow! A must try! Visiting from San Francisco and absolutely loved everything about this place. The service was top notch, food was delicious, presentation was so on point! Did not disappoint! Compliments to the chef and the entire staff. The chef himself served us the pigeon dish, which was absolutely delish…we did not realize he was the chef, until much later when we exited the restaurant. Loved our experience here. Highly recommend for a beautiful experience

This restaurant was going above and beyond from the atmosphere, service, food and to the wine paring. Everything was well planned, executed and delivered. Well done Chef and team.

In Cura’s 13 Course “Origen” menu, Chef Bastos delights the senses and titillates sensibilities. Foregrounding traditional Portuguese cuisine with modern interpretation, each dish—affectionately called “moment” by Cura—applies global flavors to palate with mastery and subtlety by featuring Asian, European, and Latin American ingredients.

My husband and I had the best time at Cura few weeks ago for my husband’s birthday! We loved the tasting menu and wine pairing. Our waiters Rui A. and Bruno M. Could not have been nicer. We hope to return soon!

Absolutely perfect dinner! From Greetings to leaving the restaurant we have been impressed by the attention to details by the team. Food is incredible and the chef makes you enjoy different parts of Portugal through food. The Sommelier knows his Portuguese wines better than anyone and really impressed us as well with his choices. Overall we have more than enjoyed our dinner at Cura and count it as our best michelin experience. Congratulations to the team!

With a truly fresh and unique take on modern Portuguese cuisine, Pedro, Monica, and Davide deliver a stellar experience from start to finish. This is a can't miss spot in Lisbon that has quickly elbowed its way into an already impressive food scene. Expect creative flavours and daring wine pairings.

Absolutely stunning meal and fantastic service. We did the meia cura tasting menu with the wine pairing and everything blew us away. Everything from the menu concept to how their ingredients are sourced is so thoughtful and intentional. The team here is absolutely deserving of their Michelin star.

What a way to end our culinary experience in Portugal but a visit to Cura, the experience across the board was fantastic and happy we chose to dine with Cura! Here is breakdown of my review: Location: it is located in the ritz four season hotel, the driver parked is from the back side close to the underground parking just make sure they bring you to the front side that is where Cura is located Food: we decided to go with the full 12 dish experience and would love to try the chef and his teams interpretation of the Portuguese culinary experience. Each dish was beautiful to see , the attention to the textures and above all the taste was really good! Service: The team were superb in making the experience outstanding couldn’t thank them enough for such a great hospitality. Overall, if your looking for a great dining experience in Lisbon, Cura is for you!
