I loved dining at Antikuario Cafe. It’s a cozy restaurant, so ensure you make a reservation in advance as parties were turned away. The red wine sangria was lovely and I loved the amount of fruit. The stuffed mushroom starters are unqiue, but there was a good balance between acidic and nutty. I’m not sure if I would eat them again, but the mushroom itself was very tasty. My mushroom steak was delicious! The amount of sauce was overwhelming at times, but nothing bread couldn’t fix. The sweet potato mashed potatoes are utterly divine! I would eat a whole tub of it if I could! The side salad that accompanied my steak was very fresh and crisp. My waitress was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable on all the dishes. If you’re in Lisbon, be sure to dine here!

One of the best places for dinner in Lisbon! We’ve celebrated the birthday here and it was such an amazing experience. Ceviche, shrimps, tuna and salmon steaks were perfect, service was very friendly and warming, the vintage interior looks very beautiful! Important to note that you can’t make the reservation online and have to walk in and say your name to the owner :)

Reserve table for this beautiful romantic restaurant. It gets busy (we booked a week ago and got busy after 8pm) even it's a Monday. Been here with my husband a year ago and service is amazing still today for our wedding anniversary. It's a small quiet romantic spot. The owners and staff are respectful whether you are a group of 3 of friends hanging out or local couples they already know. The food is still reasonable priced and the house red wine was wonderful. Had the penne pasta with shrimp and my husband had the steak with sweet potatoes with fries.Out of privacy, we didn't take any pics of other guest.Highly recommend.

If I could give this family owned restaurant 10 stars, I would. They made my husband’s birthday dinner so special. From the recommendations to the ambiance and special birthday song, everything was perfect! The owners truly care, and that could not be more apparent. I highly recommended ordering the shrimp appetizer, tuna and salmon entree. Absolutely incredible!

Most amazing food of our entire European trip - there was no close second. First, the food. I’ve had enough tuna and salmon dishes in my life to say this is work class and better than Michelin starred restaurants I’ve been to. I haven’t had enough octopus dishes to be a comparative expert, but the octopus was phenomenal too. Second, the people/service. This is a small family restaurant and they take pride in their work and making sure their customers feel welcome. Our eight month old was at our AirBNB with my mother-in-law and we needed to get take out. They do not do take out. But the hostess understood our situation and they modified the meals slightly so they could wrap their plates well and sent us home with real dishes (which we returned later). While waiting for the dishes, the hostess would check in with us cheerfully and was a pleasure to be around. This place deserves to be famous, but given it’s low prices, intimate atmosphere, and approachability I selfishly hope they stay that hole-in-the-wall gem that they are now.

Fantastic food! Place is small, so might need a reservation. Freshest tuna I've had this side of the Atlantic. Bacalhau (Cod) was flaky with lots of vegetables, very good. The shrimp appetizer had such a good creamy sauce that we ate it like a soup. €17 pitcher of sangria was made fresh. Best place to eat for a very reasonable price!

We happened to be walking by the restaurant just as it opened and were lucky we got a table as most of the tables were held for reservations. Interesting ambiance with many antiques lining the room. The octopus was so tender and tasty. The dishes were large, so am sorry I had no room for dessert!

Mit sehr viel Liebe zu Antiquitäten und Charme eingerichtet. Essen auf allerhöchstem Niveau mit kulinarischen Highlight wie Champignons mit Honig, Erdnüssen und Limetten. Oder ein unwiderstehliches Thunfisch Ceviche. Bedienung phänomenal herzlich und freundlich. Vegetarische Küche ebenfalls auf allerhöchstem Niveau. Offener Shiraz sehr fein. Unbedingt reservieren, denn es ist total ausgebucht und dies zu recht!

Excellent cute restaurant just a few minutes away from all the touristic restaurants. The personell, food and decoration of the restaurant are wonderful! We were so lucky to get a table, there are only a few so when you go to Lisbon, you must make a reservation and must do it for this place.

Schon beim Betreten des Restsurants hat man das Gefühl im Wohnzimmer Platz zu nehmen. Liebevoll platzierte Antiquitäten schaffen eine besondere Atmosphäre und Gemütlichkeit. Das Essen ist Weltklasse. Qualitativ hochwertige Produkte perfekt zubereitet und angerichtet. Ich habe hier den besten Thunfisch, den ich je gegessen habe, genossen - zart, bittererich , auf der Zunge zergehend mit einer knackigen intensiven Sesamkruste! Auch die Weinbegleitung ist sensationell. Die chsrmanten Gastgeber lesen einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab und gestalten Ihren Gästen einen unvergesslichen Abend. Das Lokal ist klein und gut besucht also unbedingt reservieren!

Excelent place, owners are servicing guests, together with interior and cozzines of the palce it creates great atmosphere. Its an excelent choice for late lunch and even for romantic dinner. Evenings must be booked in advance place is busy even in low season.

A small but wonderful place to eat . The food is beautifully cooked and presented. The 3 main dishes were wonderful, in fact it was all astounding. Would I go back..you bet!

We were very lucky to get a table spontaneously. The waiter was very friendly and the food was amazing with big portions.

Had a blast - the hosts are fantastic, the food is delicious and served in copious portions, and the overall atmosphere is very nice. The tuna, in particular was stunning - loved the chocolate cake too. We had great vino verde as well - I’m guessing most people coming there are tourists and it’s a shame cause it’s an excellent place in the area and it deserves more love!

We visited here whilst staying locally, the service, food and wine where incredible. Not only was the food amazing but also very reasonably priced for the quality of food we had, could not recommend highly enough.

So good that we went back two nights in a row during our stay in Lisbon! Every dish we ordered was to die for, and the hosts were absolutely wonderful. Can’t recommend this place enough.

A lovely find on a street near our hotel. The owners are fantastic hosts and recommended great wine and food. We got the nice open window table. Wished we had known the size of the dishes before ordering both a starter and main…they are big portions. Delicious food though!

Food made with love and friendship. It’s possible to taste the freshest of ingredients and the most affectionate of preparations here. The owners treat you like family no matter where you come from, and cook for you just like family as well.

Great little find. The hosts are super friendly and provide lots of information about the dishes. Food was top notch. One of the best (if not the best) meal we’ve had in Portugal. Came for for our last meal and was exceptional- the best meal we had. For apps had the smoked corn and tuna ceviche. Entrees were steak w mushroom sauce, and tuna, both with sweet potato mash. Much care with the presentation and the flavors were top notch. Grabbed a bottle of the unique and tasty green wine. Total bill for two with all this was €68. Lotta love goes into the cooking here and the experience!

I totally recommend this place! The prawn starters is delicious and a big portion for 2 or 3 ppl. The cheese board and the bread is also a great option and the Rose one is the cherry on the top. Every dish we had tasted like proper Portuguese food with quality ingredients and traditional flavours. Very friendly and welcoming staff and the place itself is beautiful. I’m so glad we found it. If you’re in the are you must try it! It’s a hidden gem and will certainly give you a perfect taste of Portugal.

Amazing hidden place in the centre. Very unique and cozy. Food is above and beyond all the expectations. Very tasty. The host is very friendly and helpful. Must visit. Working without afternoon break. For dinner better do the reservations cause there are just 11 tables. The table in front of the window is very romantic 😻 I had main dish which includes 3 sides (sweet potatoes, rice and salad), the starter and a glass of wine. All in all about 23-25€

I can't describe how amazing this restaurant really is. Food, atmosphere and true Portuguese hospitality! Attention to detail, freshness of ingredients and warm welcome of the hosts is unmatched. I will definitely come here next time I'm in Lisboa
