I was invited to this excellent Brazilian BBQ restaurant with great food by a Brazilian friend who lives in Lisbon. Everything was nicely spiced and grilled. I also never knew I would enjoy eating BBQ chicken hearts on a stick, or BBQ cheese on a stick! The purée of spinach and roasted garlic as a dipping sauce for the grilled meats was superb. We ordered the coconut cake for dessert and even though I am not really into sweet things, this was heavenly.

Great options for a gluten and lactose intolerance. Juicy and crispy chicken and the salad was refreshing. Music was on point too - nice deep vibes from Anjunadeep and others.

Great little take away place and delicious chicken and sides. Affordable pricing. Just be aware they have no seating, but there are some outdoor tables you can use.

Overall: great spot for roasted chicken and Brazilian staples. We ordered the 1/2 chicken with the thyme butter sauce, a side of vegetables, and beef skewers (picanha). They were all exquisite: perfectly cooked and flavorful. The only downside of this joint: they don't serve a lot of different beers, and only has Heineken. Staff is super friendly and place is located in a vibrant / busy spot of town.

Really, really good, really. Chicken is absolutely delicious. They are busy but it's so worth it. Another amazing meal in Lisbon. Outside seating if you need it and a lot of indoor spots. Had the chicken, chips, batata frita, caipirinha and coconut cake for dessert. The place has a very good vibe and foghorn leghorn is the mascot!

Food really good, solid and straight forward traditional Brazilian barbecue. Good value! We did take-away as the place itself doesn't provide dine-in. However we learned that you can go next door and have the food there. Maybe next time... 😉

Enjoyed the food! We ordered the Principe chicken and the pork with black beans stew and loved it! The service was also great and very helpful. It was quite dark though, but overall it was great!

Some of the best piri-piri chicken I've had in Portugal! The place was empty when we got there so we were a little dubious, but the food was incredible. Very reasonably priced.

It’s Portuguese grilled chicken. Also make sure to ask for their piri piri sauce a traditional South African sauce made by Portuguese settlers. A perfect combo. At Franguinho do Príncipe you can get a dish with chicken and spicy sausages which is quite delicious 🔥best we had while in Lisbon. On the side we also got fries and basmati rice which also surprisingly tasty. We paid it with a Monte Baixo, a light but dry white. Also from Portugal land 👌🏽

Even though this place is known for chicken, I think the chicken meat is a bit dry but cake was wonderful! Grilled meat and wine were good.

Nice little joint. Got the grilled chicken with piri piri flavour. Lovely spice and heat. Great value for 2 people to share whole chicken, French fries and 2 small beers for 19 euros. Sorry my pics are poor, but bbq crispy chicken is top notch.

Famous for their chicken but I highly enjoyed their picanha with farofa, linguiça in bolo de caco and the crunchy chips!

Very very good. Inside is very cosy, terrace has a nice view on the city(see the photo) But it doesn’t matter compared to the food you get for your money. I bought the cheapest menu for 9 euro which consists of a half of a chicken and one garnier. Chicken is god tier, one of the best in my life, very nice flavoured and perfectly cooked. The garnier I choose with the advise of a worker was the main surprise of the evening. It is called cassava flour with butter and garlic and it goes sooo well with chicken. You wouldn’t expect it.. you can also get rice to it but I think it is not necessary. I was full and was satisfied with the food, what else does an individual need. I do recommend it to everyone

Not the best tasting Piri piri but nice texture. The chicken were bland but nice and crispy. The use of spicy oil was great for flavor. Their chicken hearts were excellent! The sausages were nothing out of ordinary. Overall, the place was fast and friendly but could use some more seasoning. The place is clean and easy to find., I recommend stopping here at least once.

Better than Nandos! Very tasty, just loved it. In fact the tastiest chicken we've ever had. We ordered the lemon, thyme butter sauce half chicken each. Side orders of fries and spinach and garlic puree.

The proposal is good, but maybe I was unlucky, the environment had an unpleasant smell and the people who were with me also found the same. The table service was attentive and quick and I have nothing to complain about. As for the dishes, the meat and cheese kebabs with french fries and rice were good and tasty. The price is medium/high for the dish itself, but it is a tourist route area...

Nice little vibe with the old school speaker outside. The rice was really really good, the chicken was alright nothing special. Would definitely go back but get something else other than the chicken and more rice!

We ordered the Memu Real with both sauces. The beans, rice, and tomato salad were all very good, but the chicken with both sauces was some of the best chicken I have ever had anywhere. Rhe sausages were also delicious. They are cash only, but we had dinner and beers for less than 30 euros! 10/10 would recommend and we'll be back.

Came here on a Saturday evening around 9.40. It was completely dead. I can see this a very fun place tho not sure why no body comes here (seems like a a lot of ppl order take out tho) when the environment is quite pleasant. The food is good, Although not spectacular.

Absolutely fantastic! The chicken was perfectly cooked. Crispy and juicy. Both of the sauces were wonderful. The sides and the sausage were great as well. They do take card now. If you are looking for piri-piri, definitely come here!

This awesome Brazilian bbq joint was just what we needed! Well seasoned and perfectly cooked food that was juicy, flavorful and straight up delicious! I was pleasantly surprised by the picanha skewer and the chicken heart skewers. We were so full that we didn’t get to try the dessert so I will have to go back soon! The staff were also very friendly and welcoming — we enjoyed the whole experience.

The Best Chicken I have ever had! Delicious, crispy, well seasoned, tasty. Also the sides are very good, and decent prices - half chicken with a side - about 10€, a beer 2€ Also a plus for the music, mood and atmosphere.
