The Overdale Guesthouse is an absolute pleasure, even as a solo backpacker! The nearest train station is nearly a mile away, but the commute by foot is suburban, quiet, and safe. The mattress here was a dream; with effective curtains, it was easy to get a great night's rest. Also, even though the bathroom for my room was external, it was a comfortable arrangement. Tea and coffee makings are provided in each room, as well. Perhaps what shines brightest at Overdale, however, are the breakfasts. There was such a variety of offerings that most any diet could dine there happily. They've even got gluten-free options! I was consistently impressed by the generous portions and overall quality. The staff were fabulous, too. For those of you who'll drive in, there's ample parking on-site. And there's a launderette nearby!

one of our rooms was lovely size just needed a deeper clean. the other room was a Box with a double bed and a tiny window to open so room was too hot. location wise there isn't much around. The lady who did the morning breakfast was so lovely and very helpful.

I'm giving my stars due to room needs more cleaning,alot of hairs around Bath and towels very dirt bedsheets had alot of stains and hairs, carpet needs taken away very dusty/dirty, alot of spiders and cobwebs, under yellow rug has damp and the smell is horrible left windows open the hole time, and far to hot in rooms,needs more dusting,location has nothing around it. Breakfast was nice ( Breakfast staff friendly) on first night was handed keys and we left are items in the room we left the window open with curtains came back and all was closed don't like people in room with our items just our personal choice.

Another excellent stay for a full week. Had previously heard about the epic breakfast but never usually have time, but did so on one occasion this time. I was not let down. Room really clean and nothing is too much for the staff. Will book for all future visits!

Fantastic stay here , service is very good, rooms are lovely and spacious, very comfortable beds and the breakfast was delicious, I would highly recommend Overdale to anyone.

Such a lovely boutique feel place! Very clean and modern, lovely furnishings with a nice overall vibe! Bedrooms were lovely and clean, lovely fresh smelly bedding and bathroom was spotless! Breakfast was quick and fresh! I had poached eggs on toast and it was perfection! The owner should update the photos online of the bedrooms as it’s so much nicer and better in person! Would stay here again! Fantastic

You really need a car There is bus stop out side the property to lisburn and belfast but there every hour

The overdale never let's us down. We've been going few yrs now to celebrate birthdays and nothing is to much bother for the Hostess. Comfortable bed, clean and tidy room. Plus a great choice of breakfasts 100%recomend. We can't wait to go back. X

Stayed here over a year ago but was just reminiscing about the lovely stay I had at the Overdale. The room was clean and comfortable, and the management was so hospitable I truly felt so cared for. I highly recommend enough!
