I
booked
a
stay
at
Maryville
about
4
months
before
the
reservation,
based
upon
the
photos,
the
location,
a
desire
to
support
local
Irish
business,
and
experience
Belfast
outside
of
a
corporation.
I
have
been
disappointed
in
the
B&B,
although
the
food
was
passable.
The
Earl
Grey
room
was
cute,
although
the
ceiling
is
cracking,
the
lampshade
had
an
odd
yellow
stain,
as
did
the
bedspread
on
the
twin
bed.
The
shower
had
mold,
and
ran
from
blistering
hot
to
ice
cold
and
back
several
times,
and
the
drain
backed
up
each
time
we
used
the
shower.
The
space
between
the
shower
and
the
sink
is
very
narrow
(as
stated
by
prior
reviews),
and
would
be
impossible
for
a
larger
person
to
get
by.
The
stairs…no
mention
of
the
stairs
in
the
B&B
description.
I
counted
atleast
40
stairs.
Two
stories,
four
flights
of
stairs
(although
the
two
employees
both
corrected
me
and
said
there
were
two
flights
of
stairs
-
not
sure
how
they
are
counting
flights.
One
set
of
9
or
so
stairs,
then
a
landing,
then
another
set
of
9
or
so
stairs,
then
another
landing,
and
so
on).
We
were
at
the
B&B
in
the
midst
of
a
heatwave.
No
a/c,
and
fans
sold
out
all
over
per
Nicole
(I
called
Nicole
on
the
second
evening,
and
asked
for
help
with
the
heat).
Not
their
fault.
The
staff
was
rude,
did
not
offer
to
help
us
get
our
luggage
down
the
four
(sorry,
two)
flights
of
stairs,
and
also
did
not
acknowledge
us
at
all
as
we
were
leaving
-
even
though
they
both
saw
us
twice.
I
had
already
decided
not
to
leave
a
negative
review,
as
everyone
has
a
bad
day.
However,
seeing
the
other
reviews,
and
not
being
slightly
acknowledged
as
we
were
leaving
changed
my
mind.
We
have
enjoyed
Belfast
regardless,
and
have
found
everyone
else
to
be
friendly.
If
you
must
go
to
Maryville
Tearoom,
don’t
stay
there,
just
get
the
food.
