What a great little find this was with great friendly service & modest prices! Fresh Mullet & chips $7.50! Great location too

So disappointed - we expected great fish and chips here - the best thing was the chips. The crumbed tailor, battered barra and crumbed prawn cutlets were overcooked to near burnt and the fish was dry to evaporated. They were very busy, but that's no excuse for poor food. We waited 40 minutes and paid nearly $50. The customer service was also poor to rude. Again, being busy is no excuse.

Worst fish & chip shop I’ve ever visited. Terrible selection of seafood - the standard fish in their ‘fish & chips’ you can select from mullet or shark. Ordered 6 potato scallops, 1 fish cake and two prawn cutlets. Only got 5 scallops, the fish cake was still cold in the centre and the prawn cutlets were so overcooked they were almost inedible. Won’t rush back…..

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the meal. Prawns were ok. Fish, potatoe scallops and chips were overcooked. The fish fillets still had many many bones left in so not enjoyable at all.

On holidays in Iluka went here for lunch feel ripped off. Two of us bought 25.00 meal each.The fish was an absolute joke never have we seen whiting so small, had no taste, calamari was nice but everything else was disappointing. Just a waste of good money. Don't recommend at all. For a fish co-op pretty dismal. Gave only one star which is generous, should have a minus sign in front of stars. Everyone works hard for their money and don't deserve to be ripped off.

It is a yearly event on our annual holiday to visit the Co Op. Traditions aside I feel it will be culled from our annual holiday . Ordered whiting and got calamari. Not sure how whiting can be misheard as calamari.. that aside the flathead was cooked well and the sunset on the location brought it to 3 stars.

Friendly service. Reasonable prices and generous portions of fish and chips. The chips were good and the fish batter nice and light.

Food really over cooked making the meat very dry. Not nice at all. Would not recommend.

Shocking. Was told 30 minute wait and waited 1.5hrs for food. Food is tasty, but the experience left a bad taste.

Best seafood and chips around.

We rocked in at 3pm on a Tuesday. Served quickly. Enjoyed a kilo of fresh local sweet prawns.
