I went there for my birthday dinner and it was amazing. We sat on the balcony and we absolutely enjoyed our view. The food was delicious and very plentiful. The sides are great but small portions and its unlimited so you could always ask for more. We missed out on Cinnamon Pineapple but we enjoyed everything else. This place is best for special occasions. It’s affordable, something different, great ambience and with breathtaking views.

My partner and I have been here numerous times over the past few years. The atmosphere, food and service has always been absolutely fantastic, and I would recommend it as an experience to absolutely anyone. Unfortunately, that has changed. After seating for dinner on 12/12 at around 630pm, the initial order of sides was slow to come out, and the portions noticeably smaller than our last visit approx 6 months prior. Normally I would forgive and move on, as these things are unremarkable when looked at in isolation. However, the service was certainly not up to the levels of previous visits, and what we have come to expect of such a fantastic establishment. In addition to this, most of the red meat served was exactly that, red. Raw to the point where it was difficult to cut with a steak knife due to the rubbery texture. I watched food of this quality served time and again to patrons around the dining area, and their expressions told the story. After being queried on our experience at the end of the night, we addressed the rawness of the meat, to which we were told "it depends which cook is on due to differences in personal preference." I understand portion sizes change, costs increase and staff turnover. The quality of the food served, for the prices paid is not excusable. Perhaps my review would not be so harsh, had it not been for the previous impeccable levels of service and food. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

All you can eat BBQ was amazing & juicy and fresh. Didn’t like the calamari and fish. There was nothing coconut about the coconut rice. Crumbed banana and cinnamon pineapple must try!! Staff was super friendly and atmosphere was excellent.

This place is so good. The Skewers, the view, the drinks and service. Pork belly from the skewers and crumbed banana from the sides were the best. Not to forget the pineapple. Special mention to Alex for being patient with our questions and serving us the meats, just as a we asked. Entire team was very cordial even though we had a walk in. Only minus is the booking didn't come up on the website and the calls didn't go through..but glad we got a table, as we wanted to treat our guest from Belgium with a good view and amazing food.

My wife and I had our wedding reception at Navala. We have no words to express how grateful we are for the fantastic time we had there. The staff were super friendly and provided world-class service. The food was beyond delicious, and overall the experience for us and our guests was the best we could ask for. We highly recommend Navala to anyone, either for dine-in or an event. The best restaurant in Brisbane.

Hot-view place to go. Had a good time with good view and good meat served by friendly staffs. Just quick tip here is, might as well let them know what you would want to have from their selection of bbq, otherwise waiting time will be long. The staff will bring what you wanted once said.

Amazing buffet experience on the weekend. The meat were yummy. Also provide vegan buffet options which is amazing. I love all the meat’s especially beef and lamb were amazing. However many of us love the cinnamon pineapple most after eating meats for so long but it doesn’t seems to be cooked enough for us haha. Overall was an amazing experience and would definitely come back.

It was our first time eating here and after Everything, definitely not the last. We had so much meat and sides. Oh and the cinnamon pineapple was A M A Z I N G. Definitely recommend if you haven’t been here Before.

As always the food was delicious , views amazing and customer service even more amazing ! The waiters are constantly coming over in a fast /efficient/polite manner with their skewer meats offering cuts. Plates are cleared quickly , offers of more sides /drinks are regularly checked on. Go visit this place ! You won’t be disappointed! Or leave hungry.

An amazing and interesting experience. Very good food, exceptional service with friendly staff. We recommend to be sited outside and book after the sunset in order to have a wonderful view to the Brisbane Story bridge. We will come back there without hesitation!

I’ve got to say, this place is phenomenal when it came to customer service at my table of 12 last evening. Looking at the reviews before hand I was impressed by how everyone was in awe with this place. Navala exceeded my expectations, the only downside was the meat is way to tough, popular dishes like the Cinnamon pineapple was great, not to sweet at all. I would recommend if you’re not good with loud environments avoid dining on busy nights. Overall my table loved this place, thank you to our waiter Keirren

If you're looking for a "Lunch Steak", look no further! Navala sets whole new standard for your traditional lunch! The perfectly seasoned porterhouse comes to you on the perfect thickness and tenderness. Every bite gets you a little closer to south america, and if haven't heard of the region's renown yet, you will quickly realize why they are well-regarded as the best steaks in the world. And please, make yourself a favor and ask for the sides options, they are as indulging as the steak!

Went for a friends birthday dinner. Had nice seating for a small group and nice atmosphere. The meat was very delicious and come out in such large quantities that some of the group ate resulted in food level commas. This made the buffet purchase a good chose for us. I enjoyed the cinnamon pineapple.

Good experience, Pork and beef yummy but waited too long after the first meat came out for the second meat, by the time the second meat arrived we were almost full from the chips and rice. Disappointed 😞 when we wanted lamb, but didn't arrive until the end of the night, by then we couldn't be bothered. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great view and location. But at the end of the night, it's all about the food.

I got the chicken lunch special and it was honestly one of the best meals I've eaten in a long time. The meat was cooked perfectly and the salad was delicious. Sun dried tomatoes and pickled onions through it just hit the spot. The service was quick. The views are incredible.

Restaurant with an incredible and delicious variety! Everything was prepared with great care, making us feel at home. Cozy atmosphere, great background music and super friendly staff. The highlight is the mayonnaise salad, pineapple with cinnamon and banana. Everyone should definitely try it!

The food was absolutely amazing. Such a nice variety of expertly cooked meats and sides. The staff were lovely and were jumping over backwards to assist and help wherever needed. Right on the Brisbane riverfront which makes it so much better. Definitely can't wait to go again.

We went to the Brazilian Feijoada lunch on Sunday. Food was so delicious, and on point. Caipirinha was also very good. I highly recommend and plan to visit again next time in Brisbane.

The food and atmosphere were good, but the yellow-haired waiter's service was not good. Before we order the pineapples to the other waiter, Our table never served while he brought new pineapples more than five times. Is it because we are Asian? Even when he provided the service, he provided the service leaning against the wall. The other waiters are kind.

Food was incredible - Did the all-you-can-eat package with a few friends. My favourites were the pork sausages (some of the best I've ever had) and the beef shoulder. The waiters were bringing around skewers of meat almost constantly - we didn't feel like we were ever left 'wanting' for more meat - and at the same time, we still had enough time to enjoy what we were eating. View was beautiful as well. Drinks were great. Definitely recommend if you enjoy meat!

Food was delicious, came feeling very fat and happy. Cocktails were really really good. The staff hauling the meat around were amazing, very quick and almost non-stop with the food. The other staff were a little slow, and one did forget to put one of orders in. Not somewhere we would go regularly but definitely a good place for an occasion.

Went with my partner for my birthday dinner and had cheese bread balls, bbq short ribs and cassava wedges. It was soo good! My partner did not expect he will like it coz he taught it wouldn't taste authentic - my partner is Brazilian by the way. Service was really good as well and of course, has a good view of Story Bridge.

This was my first time. Book ahead! You get seated and order drinks and (if you're doing the bbq) sides. Sides are included in the price, then you wait. Over the next hour or two, waiters will pass, fairly regularly, and offer a cut of meat. You can ask for none, or a lot. The perfect atmosphere to try something new! You can reorder the sides at any time. While the food was great, the service could be improved as your table can get inadvertently skipped occasionally and you may not get the opportunity to have something you fancy. I was sweet on halloumi, but it was either not being served or bottomed out before getting to us, so maybe where you sit has an impact.

We went here for the first time today. The service is excellent and the views are lovely. If you like to eat a lot of food and a lot of meat, then this place is perfect. They serve chicken, beef, lamb, fish, pork, you name it, they've got it. Everything comes out on long skewers, and the staff cut the meat at the table for you. It's pretty impressive and entertaining. Personally, I felt the quality of the meat was a bit average, especially on some meats, but for the price, I think it's to be expected and was overall, a good experience. Oh, the cinnamon pineapple is a must. Loved that!

I went there with my boyfriend and the food was delicious! I had this cocktail called Copacabana which was one of the best ones I’ve ever tried! The service was beautiful (a bit slow but totally understandable as they were really busy) and I can’t wait to be back! Thank you, guys!!

We had a private function booked for 40 people where our original seating arrangements were supposed to be outside. However, staff had planned ahead of time another area for myself and my other guests due to weather events. We really appreciate that they were able to do so. The staff were also awesome and made sure that everything went well and kept us well topped up with our drinks. It's always a great time there and will definitely be back for more.

The meat selection was fantastic and plentiful! I actually found it to be too fast! This is a restaurant you don’t get to enjoy talking to your friends/group/partner as there is someone from staff talking to you and handing you meat at least once every 2 minutes. The only time I found the ability to talk was at the end once all the meat had been served. It does feel rushed! Which might not always be a bad thing if you’re wanting to get in and get out quickly.. but in my instance I wasn’t the biggest fan of the rushed feeling as I was looking forward to speaking with my dinner date. Meat is very easy to obtain, sides and drinks on the other hand feel as rare as gold! Make sure to order all your sides/sauces and drinks at the start, the staff handling this portion are not available to help most of the night.. we saw them twice over 2 hours, once when seating us and once at the 30 minute mark… after that I ended up having to walk up to the check in counter to request a drink! Overall was a good enough experience, meat was fantastic.. service was okay. Will probably go again but definitely for nights we want to eat quickly and get out quickly..

I’ve been in business 57 years and recognise great customer service combined with excellent food in a stunning location. In my opinion 5 stars dosnt do justice to our exceptional customer experience. Went to Navala for a work Christmas party lunch. Everything was exceptional! The service was great. Food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was fun and vibrant! It adds something special to the day having the staff come around and cut the meat/pineapple etc at the table. You can also keep ordering as many sides as your want if you get the all you can eat package. It is a lot of fun! Can't recommend highly enough! Would definitely go again. Worth every cent!

The food was ok, hit and miss with different meats. The rump cap, garlic rump, and oyster blade were ok. The chicken breast, calamari, and pork were all really tender but the crackling was unpleasantly chewy. The cinnamon pineapple was my favourite - juicy, sweet, and fragrant. The service was absolutely fantastic - all the wait staff were friendly and helpful.

Feel rushed. Hardly tasted or took the time to savour the dish as find the food very rushed. Plus, I was annoyed that water dripping from the ceiling to our food, which was pretty unhygienic. I paid just under $500, including surcharge, for so little plus inconvenience water continually dripping coming from the exhaust roof . Do not recommend this place If you want a good delicious value for money. What a waste

Perched above the Brisbane River on the waterfront, this venue offers delicious, well priced food with wonderful, helpful staff. Food is fresh, well presented, and a joy to eat. I got take away today but was given a menu to take back to work so I can call ahead next time and sit down and enjoy the ambience. I was able to get the lunchtime special "steak and chips" within 15 minutes, so i didn'tgo over my 30 minute lunch break. The Rib eye steak was delicious! Croquettes and fries good too. The pineapple Pork bbq was ok, but as good as the steak. I would return for sure for the steak.

This restaurant is really nice, real Brazilian churrasco (BBQ), the food is really tasty. We had the unlimited BBQ with plenty of sides and sauces. Their Caipirinha is perfect and they offer them in different flavours (original lemon, or watermelon, mangoe etc). We spent $349 for 2 persons, the staff was very friendly and very cute.

Had New Year’s Eve at Navala. Great experience! Food was sensational as usual. Staff were attentive and friendly, made sure our large group was well looked after all night. We also got a prime view of 2 fireworks shows on the river. The kids were well entertained and made it past midnight. Great value for money! Thanks David & team for a fantastic night.

Had my daughters 21st birthday dinner here and it was amazing. The food was delicious and very plentiful. 2 of our party had the vegetarian option and were very impressed. The atmosphere was great and the staff were so very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Very impressed and will be returning regularly

Good customer service and good experience with serving the food uniquely. Staff is covid safe with wearing masks. Not suitable for wheelchair access as restaurant floorspace is full of tightly packed tables and chairs.

Prepare your pallet for an explosion of tastes. Simple amazing and thankfully I stopped before I exploded. This is a fantastic place for a get together with friends, family and even date night.

Went for lunch over the weekend and the place had a great lively atmosphere with live music and a few larger bookings. We sat on the balcony with great views of the bridge. The staff were lovely and helpful and brought the meats out super quickly! The meat itself was tender and juicy but lacked seasoning and we ended up having to ask for salt. The variety of meat was great and we loved the cinnamon pineapple and fried banana bites! The endless sides and sauces were awesome, as was the sangria. Great place to fill up on some well cooked meat, would love to see those true Brazilian flavours come through though.

Great views and all you can eat meat and sides for $55 pp. Not recommended for vegetarians or vegans. Staff are very helpful. Drinks are reasonably priced.

I celebrated my birthday there. It was a unique experience. It was my first time to try Brazilian food and it was amazing. I liked if you love to eat meat this is the place for you. Especially when they come with the meat and cut on your plate. The only thing is you need to make a space in your stomach for all the food 😅

Went for lunch over Christmas and it was so good I went back for my birthday. Delicious food, great service, unbelievable price and an incredible view. The restaurant is so nice and the staff will keep you full with all the meat options. The sides are delicious too, will absolutely be going back again!

Good portions, great service, wait staff and hosts were funny, personable and eager to please. Views are great. Open air seating is a winner in a pandemic. We visited while the restaurant was offering banquet only ($55 all you can eat meat). My criticism is that some of the meat was undercooked (chicken and pork specifically), the waiters served people in the same order all the time and rarely started at the back of the restaurant with fresh meat. The meat was also somewhat flavourless, as other reviewers have said. Very little seasoning. That said, we ate our body weight in meat so definitely got our moneys worth. Cocktails were excellent too. Great vibe.

I think they have some delicious meat especially beef. The coconut fish and calamari were very average. Calamari has really fishy taste, we didn’t like it. Beef, chicken and pork dishes were really good. The place has really good view of the river. We ordered a wine bottle and they gave us the wrong wine. That was disappointing. I think they served dishes too fast and we feel we were always in a hurry to finish eating. It is more enjoyable if we can take a bit more time to enjoy the food.

Identical to Blue Fire in Melbourne. Food was delish, sides were a good company to all the meats served. The atmosphere was a little or the dark side for me, but that's because we took the whole family. More better suited for a adults venue. But highly recommend to those that love a cocktail with their dinner. PS, Pineapple is a must to finish the night. Thank you 🙏🏽

Went here with the lads for a night out. Was not disappointed. If you are a meat lover you will love this place. The place was very busy but the food kept on coming. Nice place right next to the river and clubs for a night out.

The food was excellent and plentiful, great service and welcoming staff. The only suggestion I would make is to space people out a little more on the tables, as every time a skewer comes around, the people on the 'outside' need to lean sideways so that the person across the table can get their meat. As this is basically the entire meal, it happens a lot and can annoy those on that side of the table. The atmosphere was lively and loud, perfect unless you want to have a conversation across the table as you really can't hear them. Still a positive experience for us and we will return :)

Came here at 6pm on a Thursday hardly anyone in the restaurant took over 20minutes to get service, there customer service has seriously decreased since the last time I came here. Watch 3 staff stand at the bar doing there hair and casually chatting for 10 minutes, while I was trying to get there attention. Finally had to go up to the bar to get served. Food is still good and tasty

I could not take proper photos as we opted for the $69 option which had a wide variety but initially the sauces took way so long to get out and each dish came out whenever they were ready and we had to stand by to pick the pieces sliced off. Nice ambience. But don't order the pink lemonade it was bad. The calamari was so the most tender I've tasted.

Service: 4.5/5 - An individual named Ricardo has made a particularly lasting impression during my visits. His exemplary service and personal attention to our orders truly set him apart. The current staff members are also commendable, maintaining a high level of professionalism. During my last three visits, the pacing of the food service was perfect. However, it's important to note that consistency in the pacing has not always been maintained. At times, despite our request for slower service, the food was served too swiftly. On busier occasions, the service turned out to be too slow. Food: 5/5 - This is hands down the best BBQ in Brisbane. I prefer my meat well done, and the chefs here accommodate my request flawlessly each time. My favorites include the rump cap, garlic beef, oyster blade, and tri-tip. In addition, the grilled pineapple and fried banana are delightful treats. As for hot sauces, the wava lava tops my list. Cleanliness: 5/5 - The establishment takes cleanliness seriously, ensuring a hygienic dining experience. Price: 4/5 - While the quality of the food and service is excellent, it's worth noting that the prices have risen by approximately $10 since the previous year. Vibe: 5/5 very nice view for the outdoor seating. The indoor seating are also good, but I do not prefer to set inside when the restaurant is crowded. Overall, despite minor inconsistencies in the pace of service, the outstanding quality of food, cleanliness, and cordial staff make this BBQ joint a top choice in Brisbane. Plus, it suits special occasions.

Wonderful food, beautifully cooked and flavoursome. The staff are amazing. Constantly bringing around selections of meat and checking if all is well - these guys really work hard and earn their money. Popular restaurant - very noisy and hard to have a conversation on a busy mid week night. I would suggest a table marker that indicates if you want more food offered or need a break as we felt we had to rush through our selections to not miss the next one. Overall though a good experience and would recommend a visit.

We ordered a la carte, rather than BBQ, which has an understandably smaller selection. The shared platter entree was the pick of dinner, with the croquettes and cheese puffs being the stand outs! Delicious sauce on the Pork Belly, but the sides we didn't touch. Rocket and parmesan salad was piquant and lovely. And the desserts were magnificent!! Down a star on service for having to ask for a fork (!!!) missing from table, and having to ask twice for menus to come back, and twice to check on a bottle of wine ordered but not arriving. Our server was lovely, though, and the view is always beautiful.

The atmosphere was nice. The servers were friendly and kind. Most of the meats were wonderful. A few were dry or underseasoned. It took a half an hour to receive the second round of our requests, and another fifteen to receive all of them. The servers were quite nice and keen to explain dishes. The carafe of sangria was very reasonably priced.
