We have always enjoyed breakfast at Garden City and decided to stop by for lunch at this location on our bike excursion. The place had a steady flow of afternoon traffic with wrap around outdoor seating and comfortable booths inside. We decided to share the Grilled Chicken Wrap (do note the pic is only half of a wrap) with a grilled tortilla wrap, grilled chicken crumbles and ranch dressing on the side. A pickle and a choice of a side comes with it. Portion was good, grilled texture and taste appealing, but overall amount of ingredients lacking. Grilled chicken amount seemed to be more of salad topping. Service was friendly and fast.

I had an amazing experience at Eggs Up Grill for breakfast! The atmosphere was perfect for families, and I really enjoyed the family-friendly vibe. It was clear that many locals love this place too, as I saw several groups of people dining together.

I don’t usually write reviews and I’m always sympathetic with restaurant staff. Service was okay, wait staff was nice, front desk was snippy and rude (odd for the locale). We had a Party of 7 for breakfast on Sept 9. Wait time for food was 30 minutes. Nearly everyone had egg shells in their eggs - not good. And nearly everyone’s toast was burnt - like charcoal, worst I’ve ever seen served on a plate. One coffee cup had white crystals around the rim - sugar, soap? Sent back. My steak was good, though. Won’t be going back. Seems to have declined. Too bad.

We stopped here in our way home from Charleston and loved the food, staff and atmosphere! I had the biscuits and gravy with a side of home fries and one pancake. My better half had The Classic. The biscuits were amazing and the sausage gravy was perfect! The food came out fast and hot. The staff was friendly and helpful! Everyone followed Covid regulations, wore mask and maintained social distancing. The bathrooms were clean with plenty of products! I would highly recommend eating here is you are in the area!

First let me be clear that the 1-star service rating is specifically referencing the hostess, Susan, as first impressions are lasting impressions. However, our waitress Lori was awesome. We visited this location while on a short family trip and decided from reviews online that it would make a good breakfast stop. We checked in at the hostess stand with a 10-15 minute wait. After about 10 minutes our party’s name was called, but with an added last name initial. My father checked with the one hostess who then escorted us to the dinning floor. As we were walking to a table and other hostess, Susan, loudly and rudely said “I don’t know where does this party of 5 think they are going, it’s only a two top table”. She then got our hostess corrected and we went back to the lobby. I would have thought that when we all went to the hostess stand and my father checked back in that the other hostess would have corrected us. No worries, honest mistake as it turns out different parties had the same first name. Susan continued her babbling though and that is what set the tone for this review. I told Susan that there no need to be rude, and that her loud smart mouth was not appropriate or professional. I added that it may be best to next time announce the name with number in the party to help confusion. She accepted no ownership for being rude, and continued that her adding an “L” to party name should have indicated it wasn’t for us. I acknowledged that we were the wrong party, but she did not want to acknowledge her outbursts were unacceptable. Short of Susan, food was great, our waitress, Lori was fantastic, and it allowed for a good breakfast stop, but we won’t be back and will find another place to find for breakfast. Thank goodness Susan wasn’t the waitress.

We all enjoyed our meal and our server was great! However the lady who delivered our food got rude when my husband and cousin told her items on each of their plate was switched. She made a face and suggested that they just switch the food themselves. Other than that we had a good experience. Only waited about 20 min on a sat morning.

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Eggs Up Grill and I must say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was exceptional. Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at Eggs Up Grill is nothing short of amazing. They offer a wide variety of delicious breakfast and brunch options that cater to every palate. From classic favorites like fluffy pancakes and perfectly cooked omelets to unique and creative dishes, there's something for everyone. I ordered their signature Eggs Benedict, and I was blown away by the flavors and presentation. The eggs were perfectly poached, the hollandaise sauce was rich and velvety, and the English muffin was toasted to perfection. Every bite was a delight. The portion sizes were generous, and the food was cooked to perfection. The ingredients were fresh, and you could tell that a lot of care went into preparing each dish. The attention to detail and the quality of the ingredients truly set Eggs Up Grill apart. Another aspect that impressed me was the cleanliness and ambiance of the restaurant. The dining area was spotless, and the decor was tastefully done. It created a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making my dining experience all the more enjoyable. Overall, I can't recommend Eggs Up Grill enough. The combination of friendly service, incredible food, and inviting atmosphere make it a standout choice for breakfast or brunch. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, Eggs Up Grill is the place to go. I can't wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings!"

While in the area we visited this location twice. The first visit encouraged us to come back. We enjoyed a delicious and fresh tasting meal with efficient and friendly service. That was 5 stars. The second visit would have been fine if the server and the manager provided better customer service. Our egg orders were missing cheese on the second day. The server asked if we were sure. We said yes, please add cheese. Then about 7 to 10 minutes later the manager came over and asked if we still needed the cheese. We said yes. He left and the server returned minutes later to ask if we had received our eggs. At that point, disgusted and disappointed we said no and to cancel the request. My honey’s meal was cold and I had already given up. I’d hate to think that we were experiencing that because we were the only patrons of color in the establishment. However, as someone who has seen these kinds of order omissions easily fixed I’m left with no other explanation. They gave us a discount on the order and we tipped the server but they lost our interest in ever being a customer again. Two pieces of cheese could have solved the entire problem.
