My
experience
with
Roto
Rooters,
The
Technician
was
very
professional
and
friendly.
He
had
the
repair
work
done
in
less
than
15
minutes.
The
only
concern
I
had
was
I
received
an
estimate
on
11/2/2022
for
around
$268.01
for
an
easy
access
to
shower
and
the
water
line
.The
estimate
wasn’t
explained
to
me
up
front
just
the
amount.
I’m
a
first
time
homebuyer
and
this
is
my
first
experience
.
I
did
agree
to
have
the
repair
work
done.
I
scheduled
an
appointment
11/10/2022
to
have
the
work
done.
Once
the
repair
was
done
the
amount
change
from
$268.01
to
$230.90.
The
water
line
came
unattached
from
the
shower
and
the
technician
attached
the
water
line
back
to
the
shower
no
parts
needed
not
even
needing
a
tool
to
attach
the
water
line
back
to
the
shower
and
the
repair
was
done
in
15
minutes
or
less.
I
did
ask
the
technician
what
was
included
in
the
amount
after
the
work
was
done
and
and
paid
for.
The
technician
explained
to
me
that
they
charge
prorated
hourly
rates
which
can
be
prorated
and
flat
rate
which
can
not
be
prorated.
which
I
was
charged
the
flat
rate
fee
and
paid
$215.00
and
can
not
be
pro
rated
and
the
remaining
$15.90
was
for
miscellaneous
items
like
gloves
and
etc.
my
only
concern
was
why
was
I
charged
a
flat
rate
fee
for
a
job
that
took
15
minutes
or
less
with
no
tools
needed
to
be
used
other
than
to
remove
10
or
less
screws
from
the
panel.
To
have
access
to
the
water
line
and
attach
it
back
to
the
shower
and
the
work
was
done.
As
first
time
homebuyer’s
we
have
to
pay
close
attention
to
the
companies
we
choose
to
do
our
repairs
and
very
careful
about
what
we
say
about
how
our
repairs
are
being
handled
and
paid
for
during
an
estimate.
Because
some
companies
will
take
that
to
a
different
level
to
get
paid
my
opinion.
On
the
other
hand
some
companies
will
explain
the
detail
estimates
up
front
along
with
the
details
of
the
fees
and
have
everything
listed
on
the
invoice
and
some
companies
want
.
And
sometimes
we
really
don’t
pay
close
attention
to
it
because
we
are
just
trying
to
get
our
repairs
done.
I
did
choose
the
company
based
off
the
years
experience
and
rating
score.
This
was
my
first
experience
and
I
definitely
learned
from
it.
I
feel
within
my
heart,
because
I
stated
that
the
repairs
was
covered
under
my
insurance
company
and
the
company
does
not
do
third
party.
The
only
reason
they
charge
me
the
flat
rate
fee
of
$215.00
is
because
my
insurance
would
cover
the
amount
of
the
repairs
and
reimburse
me
for
the
amount
I
paid
for
the
repairs.
Instead
of
the
hourly
pro
rated
fee
because
the
repair
took
less
15
minutes
or
less.
I
did
confirm
with
company
that
I
was
not
charged
for
the
mileage
.
So
the
above
amount
did
not
include
any
mileage.
