At a distance of only a 1/2 mi. from home, this park has been a wonderful addition to the neighborhood! It has a full basketball court, a skate park, several picnick pavilions, with several bbq grills, a cooling off station for the kids, stationary exercise equipment dispersed at intervals throughout the park, plenty of grassy space, & a walkway throughout the whole park, which includes distance markers for those wanting to keep track of how far they have walked/ran/rode. The park has a lot of lighting, which patrons can control, including for the picnick pavilions, the skate park & the basketball court. The park is well maintained & for the most part, the patrons are well behaved. The park is approaching its 7th or 8th year in operation & it has a lot of green space that will help define it in its latter years. The park contains 2 Pokemon Go gyms & 15 or so Pokestops dispersed, mostly around the outer perimeter of the park. There are plenty of shady spots, so you can sit & read a book, crochet, or just observe. I know that from it's opening days, I have got a lot of use out of this park & I'm super grateful that it is so close to me. There is a CVS across the street, which is the only retail outlet within about a mile of the park. Kitty corner to the park is a huge Spring training complex, though I forget which team it belongs to. There is one bathroom in the park, & it is usually clean & well stocked. Bordering the park property is a community center, which is sort of like a YMCA. So for those that aren't familiar with 107th Ave. & Camelback, maybe you should be, because there is a lot to do packed into this little corner! Its a fantastic use of our tax dollar as far as I'm concerned!

Both Google and the City of Phoenix Parks and Rec website says the splash pad located at this park would be open and that this splash pad in particular was open from the last weekend in May all the way up to Oct 1st from 5:30am- 10:00pm. Given the fact that the other Splash Pads located in Glendale are now currently only opened on the weekends due to school being in Session my daughter and I took an hour long bus ride there only to find out that both Google and the City Of Phoenix Parks and Rec website were incorrect about this specific splash pad being open. You would think in the middle of a heat advisory in the hot Arizona sun they would keep true to the days and times these splash pads are in operation. I was not the only family with kids that came to this park in anticipation of cooling off and playing in the splash pad. Exchanging small talk with other parents while my daughter played on the playground just about every family there playing went there specifically for the splash pad and was met with sheer disappointment. Not only that but the splash pad looked as though it had not been in operation in quite some time. This is not the 1st time that the days and times of various splash pads through out the valley have been incorrect. It is a huge inconvenience to the people that don't have the luxury of owning a vehicle at the moment and a good chunk of your day is just a huge waste of time catching various busses only to find out the information that's given on the city's website is incorrect. I think the little one and I are just about done with the disappointment and let down by these incorrect dates and times of said splash pads and we will just find other ways to stay cool for the next few years. The park was OK i guess but it wasn't enjoyed as much as it could have been had it been for the splash pad not being in operation it was a pretty crummy hour long bus ride back home. Also in case anyone is curious at to the time we arrived it was 3:26pm and it was still not in operation

This is a cool park, but MY KIDS have found drug stuff the last 2 times we've been, so I don't think we'll be back. Last time it was a bunch of torn foil and burnt straws, and the time before that it was orange and white broken glass from a pipe. There's also a large group of homeless looking people that make me feel mildly unsafe hanging out in the covered area and showering in the splash pad.

There is exercise equipment scattered around the perimeter of the park. You could get in a nice circuit workout running from machine to machine. A good amount of grass to play games and covered seating with grills makes this a great outing for friends and family.

COVID has closed the picnic benches, splash pad, and playground. But, the walking trails and grassy areas are still open! My husband, my dog, and I enjoyed a picnic even though it was super hot outside. I am new to the Phoenix area so I have never been to this park without everything being shut down, but I can imagine that it would be lovely. I can't wait to come back soon!

Good park! Very big and open, lots of choices for the kiddos to play on. It would have 5 stars if it had a bathroom for the kids to use nearby.

Water feature it's finally working again but they need to do some landscaping so the water is not pooling and all disgusting.. some of the water features need to be fixed but overall I like taking the kids there some people worry about the homeless I've never had anybody bother me and I always bring extra snacks and drinks for them anyways

The park is very nice. There are some homeless loitering around the park, but overall the park is one of the better ones in the area and definitely one of the bigger ones. There’s some good shades to block the sun on those super hot days of the summer.

It is a nice park with a toddler playground and a playground for older kids. There's a splash pad and a skate park, too. The only downside is during the morning hours, there's quite a few homeless people around. I totally understand that it's the best place for them. It has a water source, bathroom, and relatively safe places to sleep. However, I don't feel comfortable going alone with my little one. Also, on one occasion, I took my child to the splash pad, but there were mini bars of soap, and it was dirty from people using it to shower/ clean themselves. We didn't even bother using it. Overall, I enjoy the park and look forward to visiting more when it's not 110°

I don't like to say bad things about parks because having them provided is a Good Thing, and I am Grateful. This is a good park if you're looking for a small neighborhood park to take the kids, or go sit on a bench. It was clean and seemed safe. It seems mostly geared for kids and families. There's bbq's available. Not a place to take your dog for a walk unless your dog doesn't like to walk as it is very small! Me and my buddy won't be going back.

Its a nice park. Nothing too fancy. Quiet, at least when I was there. My only complaint are the restrooms. I can't account for the men's, but for the womens.....crazy. Who decided that having no doors on the stalls was a good idea?

Great for pokemon go lover's. Park is clean for the most part. Pretty green grass and lots of tables for family parties. I love that they have exercise machines scattered throughout the part, it's always an option. Bathrooms can use some work

Cool park with lots of picnic tables, a nice playground and a splash pad for the kids. Lots of families enjoying the amenities.

Great park outside of the homeless people sleeping on the playground and doing drugs on that benches.

  • 4/5 Livy S. 1 year ago on Google
OK this park is awesome WHEN, the homeless aren't hanging out at the tables! We have found needles, tinfoil and lighters here. But I've called the park ranger and the homeless have been staying away for the most part..

They have exercise equipment around the park for people to workout. I kept seeing people walk and run around the park as well so its a good safe place to go to exercise. They have a playground and basketball court. The one thing that surprised me is their bathrooms were clean. Definitely recommend going here.

Beautiful small neighborhood skatepark in Glendale that offers a handrail with a stairset, ledges, hubbas, a pyramid, and a myriad of transitions to keep your flow going throughout the park.

Great park! It’s clean and easy to watch the kids run around. I’ve also went walking in the early mornings and evenings and there are plenty of other people around that make you feel safe.

Big area enough for bike riding or simply walking around the park. Playground is partially covered with tarps. Water park is perfect for refreshing kids after playing on swings or slides. Lots of benches for parents/guardians to lounge & keep an eye on kids.

Nice park with different areas of different activities, they have several different playground areas for young kids, many open grassy fields, and a couple different places to sit down at tables. I usually come here for Pokemon go and there are many gyms and stops around the park.

Super fun. Great place to have fun on a sunny day. In the words of little girls: "Two playgrounds. One for little kids and one for big kids. They have a water splashy thingy." They had the time of their lives. Bonus there is work out equipment all around the perimeter of the park. A skaters section, a field, and basketball court.

  • 5/5 Jesse F. 4 years ago on Google
Always clean and fun for the kids. Big playground. Lots of walking. A skate park. Water pad. And basketball courts

  • 5/5 Shelly M. 5 years ago on Google
So much fun! Great way to break the monotony of just walking. 2x around = 1.7 miles

  • 5/5 Jenny P. 4 years ago on Google
It's not a very big park compared to some places but it is great for walking. There are also different exercises you can do along the way. There is a small skate park, plenty of covered ramadas with picnic tables and a place to BBQ. I will be coming back here again.

Decent park. Water pad worked much better in the parks first 2 years. One water gun is broken and just leaks water which causes reduced water pressure for the entire water pad.
