M&S Cafe lovely cakes 🎂 clean siting area and nice cup of coffee or tea 🍵 😋

Went into store on 27th December, 1st day of the sale. I picked up a dress, in the sale section with all the other dresses. There were around 6 dresses like the one I bought with up to 50% off. A red sign over the top. Got to the till and it was full price. Of course it was. I queried it and asked her to check it as I told her it was in the sale section. "Oh a customer must have put it there" What, half a dozen dresses all the same? I went downstairs to query it again with a rather unhelpful member of staff. She confirmed it wasn't in the sale. I pointed out that items not in the sale should not be in the sale section with a 50% off notice. Hardly any items are marked down so you either have to find someone on the shop floor that is actually willing to help or be embarrassed at the till after queueing forever. Completely chaotic with the most unfriendly staff. Rude and unhelpful. Unbelievably slow checking out. Then there is the cafe. Sweet man alive. Staff are beyond slow and clueless. Asked for a weak moccha (1 shot) she couldn't even pass the message on. She gave me the drink and I checked it was correct... no, they even arsed that up. Dirty tables, bad atmosphere, no organisation whatsoever. Zero customer service. Whoever thought this system was workable needs sacking. Go elsewhere for refreshments, you'll get your hat nailed on in this cafe.

I was more than happy with the service and as I sat watching it was clear that the cafe is understaffed. I watched as they tried their very best to keep tables clean while serving customers. What actually annoyed me was the way the customer’s spoke to the staff, if they didn’t have a certain item then that member of staff received verbal abuse, I’m sure the young lady was ready to walk out and I wouldn’t have blamed her after the way she was spoken too. Manager’s there need to be looking after their staff better. Put a sign up so that your staff aren’t treated like that.

I had to buy a dinner suit last minute (evening of 8th March 23) for a work event. A lady named Alina was the most helpful and patient store assistant I've ever dealt with. She helped me to get the correct items in the correct size and saved me a lot of stress. She's a credit to the store.

Queue for cafe 30 minutes this morning. 7 staff standing around in the prep area, only 4 serving and 3 at one point. Do the staff have communal coffee break at 11.00am as well? Definitely on go slow. Come on M&S sharpen up and give a bit of service to the customer.

Recently started purchasing Clinique at my local store. So convenient and regularly available with great offers. Had the pleasure of receiving outstanding help and advice from Olivia. She was so lovely, understanding and helpful. Thank you. Will only shop here for all my makeup in future.

I have to say I was impressed. Christmas Eve and it was still fully stocked and not too busy. Also had some great offers, just thinking there will be alot of waste?? I'm sure they have a plan for that???

Just been to M&S in Warrington and myself and husband were purchasing items for my husband, and were served to the highest quality by two lovely ladies at the till in the men’s section. Debs Rec and Jacque Jones you were so pleasant and went beyond to help with our purchase. Thank you Deb for your patience and kind advice on the using of the M&S card. You’re a credit to M&S. I will definitely be returning to your fantastic store. Excellent service.

Cafe very slow queue. Once we had eventually purchased our tea and cake, there came the problem of finding a table. There were many empty tables but the vast majority of them were piled with dirty crockery. When tables were eventually cleared they were not wiped despite the trolley having cleaning equipment clearly available. All in all a lot to be desired as far as hygiene is concerned.

I always love shopping in M&S, got a variety of goods and reasonable priced clothing.

Nice M&S store, very clean with lots of space around the clothes section and food hall. The cafe on the upper floor had a long queue to order drinks, but once at the till, the young lady working very hard to serve was extremely polite and friendly. Only one till being used at a time 🤔 No clean plates to put a fruit scone on, had to ask a member of staff for this. Plenty of cutlery to select from and the odd clean table around the seating area. Will return but at a less busy time of day.

Went for a bra fitting. Lucy G who helped was brilliant. Advised on all the right bras to wear and what to avoid . Tried a few on so I had an idea on what to get...I bought 3 after my fitting and went and got another couple the day after.. Anyone wanting a bra fitting I can highly recommend going here..Also on another note, the cafe upstairs is fab too 😊 X

Two scones bought in the cafe were dry & stale, hard to cut through & the butter wouldn’t even spread onto them. Took them to the kitchen counter at the back & the young man there wasn’t interested, just kept saying “take them over there” pointing to the tills where there were big queues because the staff have to make hot drinks & process the orders, so we walked out - waste of money.
