Superb hotel. Dog friendly but dogs not allowed in all areas because soft furnishings are very expensive. Friendly staff. Breakfast and evening meal cooked by a real chef using fresh ingredients. They have a very limited menu because of this. The bed was a shade small. Two minutes from beach and park.

We stopped here for dinner on the off chance of getting a table and we were lucky. It's a stunning hotel with a very Scottish looking feel to the interior. The menu was really good and reasonably priced. We ordered slow cooked steak and ale pie with mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables plus a Tennessee burger with hand cut chips. Our meals looked, smelled and tasted delicious. The service was excellent and the team had an excellent knowledge of the ingredients and the menu. We ordered a Baked Alaska as a dessert to share which was very retro and delicious. We had a lovely evening, gorgeous food with fantastic service, we would highly recommend

What a fantastic hotel. Every aspect, from super service, delicious meals, and a wonderful sense of being welcome, you hit it on the head. I'll call out exceptional service for breakfast, you have wonderful staff. If you want a travelodge don't come here; if you want the best welcome that Ayrshire can give you, squeaky floorboards and all, please book and enjoy this fabulous hotel.

We were there with our family for our 50th anniversary. The food, service, staff and room comfort were all excellent. The DJ was good fun and our family has a great time. We would definitely return. We would like to stay in the summer for a break to get advantage of the lovely garden.

Thank you very much for going above and beyond to deliver an excellent level of service. Helpful, friendly staff went out of their way to ensure a smooth check-in process due to late arrival. All staff we very warm and welcoming. Loved the hotel, it has plenty of character and reminds me of a castle. It has a nice bar and relaxing bar area. Our room was lovely and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and offered gluten free bread. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended hotel. Thanks again!

Brilliant stay at this dog friendly hotel. We arrived after a long day’s drive with the dog so it was nice to be so close to the green and beach. The hotel is well kept and the staff so lovely and accommodating. There’s also a walled garden to let the dog off for a bit. We ate in the restaurant, the food was lovely and cocktails were great!

We stayed here for an over night last week and had an excellent stay. The hotel is of a traditional style and has a cosy and warm feel. We stayed in a character room which was absolutely beautiful. The room itself was spotless as well as the bathroom. We had a large bath and a shower with his and hers sinks which we loved. The bed was comfortable, the view from the room was of the lovely gardens which was really nice and the tv within the room was a generous size! The staff are all so kind and welcoming which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had the most interaction with one of the Staff members Jordan, who was so attentive and overall lovely to be around. The service definitely makes this place even more special! We did not have dinner here however, we had breakfast in the morning which was enjoyable and is served in a really nice area of the Hotel. I used to come here as a child and it was nice to return and appreciate the place properly! We will definitely come back as we enjoyed our stay so much. Hopefully the weather will be better next time so we can appreciate the beautiful gardens. ♥️

A bit of a dated feel about the whole place. Bizarrely in this day and age no shower in the room. Ate in the Hotel and it was nice. Staff very kindly arranged cereal, coffee and toast for me despite the fact I was leaving before they started serving breakfast which was much appreciated.

We really enjoyed our stay, the building is beautiful, the staff are lovely, cheery and helpful + the food is of a really high standard. This could easily be a five star boutique experience with a little more money thrown at it. The rooms have lovely features but could do with lightening and modernising a little with the addition of more plugs & better utilities. The restaurant is lovely and you can see a lot of effort has gone into pulling this business up by its bootstraps from reviews left several years ago. It has clearly come far & really doesn’t have that far to go before being considered more of a luxury. A big negative for us is we booked a room for two but were given two single beds. As two men, an easy mistake to make but this was a little awkward and so we decided not to address it (that’s on us the staff were welcoming enough for us to feel comfy) One final point, the restaurant was 10/10 except offering the same “soup of the day” for three days running (spicy tomato) but the rest of the menu was really really lovely. I would imagine it is a super cosy winter stay! Would recommend to others.

Had a wonderful Battered Fish & Chips Lunch here with with 2 friends and three dogs. Delightful, friendly staff that made us so welcome and made a fuss of the doggies - which they loved too! Lovely warm and cosy atmosphere there. Will be regular visitors from now on

Lovely hotel. Good food and caters for those with food intolerances. Staff are polite and very friendly as well as being exceptionally helpful. They have a good deal of local knowledge if you need to find someplace in particular

Room was good with excellent shower. Window didn't close properly but that was the only fault. Quite a dark room as it's north facing . Excellent service couldn't have been any better.

A fantastic three night stay. Well looked-after, relaxing, tidy, clean. Lovely family feel, an antidote to chain hotels. And a great base to explore Ayr and wider SW coast.

Amazing place to stay. Small cosy hotel. Extremely friendly staff who dealed with all my fussy requests. Tasty breakfast. Only 2 things. Check if there is a wedding on the day. If so it will be noisy and restaurant close. Check if your room has everything you want.

Stayed here for 3 nights to attend nearby ayr races for the scottish grand national meeting. Hotel staff are, without exception, welcoming and obviously happy in their work, such a refreshing change from many hotels we have visited. Our room was well appointed with views over the garden and resident wildlife (squirrels). Breakfasts and evening meals were substantial and well prepared/presented. A short walk to ayr beach and the town centre but blissfully quiet....splendid.

We had our wedding there last month and couldn't fault a single thing. The Venue was first class, the food was amazing and the staff went above and beyond in making sure the day went smoothly. We can't thank them enough for everything they done from start to finish. If you are looking for a wedding venue then definatley go for The Savoy Park.

Lovely Breakfast The girl that served the 4of us was there with a smile every morning. We had rooms up in the "heavens" Wasn't really suitable for my wife and my sister in law going to the top floor the steps were really steep for them both. The water pressure in the Bath was very very slow on the hot water.I think the shower which was slow also.Iam thinking the shower is getting fed of storage wate instead of mains water Apart from those two little things we had a great time at the Savoy Park.

Cosy, extremely friendly hotel. You can definitely tell it is family owned + run. Great location close to town + beach. Delicious breakfast. Our room was really spacious, lots of room for us + our pup. Only downside were split doors on bathroom. Great that it's pet friendly too. Would definitely stay there again.

This really is a lovely hotel. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fabulous, fresh and cooked to order. It's in a great location. What more can you ask for!!

Extremely friendly staff. Wonderful piping hot food. Lovely decor - especially teddy! Only criticism is that the fireplaces in the bar and restaurant didn't have open fires instead just fairy lights. A real fire would have added more warmth and ambience.

Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea today. There was a great variety of fresh & delicious sandwiches, wraps and savoury pastries but the scones and sweet treats were the stars of the show. Absolutely amazing! I've not been to the Savoy Park before but I'll be back soon - I was in prime position to see all the lunches being delivered to nearby tables and everything looked so good😋

My partner and I had an enjoyable stay at the the Savoy Park in Ayr. Located within walking distance of Ayr beach, our experience was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and comfortable. Food was also superb and there was plenty of choice and wide range of dishes. Hope to be back!

Great location, great staff, great food. Can not fault the service provided by the staff there. My only issue would be with the mattresses. They seemed old and had a massive dip in each side, so not very comfy. Dinner service was great, a great range of food and sides drinks were good aswell.
