A very poor experience. I paid for a MRI as I had an injury and I am a fitness teacher. No one explained to me upon booking, that the company outsourced and that it would take 5 to 7 working days for results. Unsure if I could work with the injury I called Pall Mall every day after my MRI for my results, for a week to no avail, only after I complained did I get my results, a week later. So I worked with an acute injury for a week. The results said 'impression of hip labral tear' I paid to see a private Orthopedic consultant at The Alexandra Hospital, who told me the MRI report from Pall Mall was wholly inadequate, had no grading of the tear and he questioned the wording 'impression' of labral tear. He said I needed another MRI to be done. When I contacted Pall Mall regarding the grading of the tear - as some grades, require surgery, it took a further 4 days to get back to me and they couldn't even establish the grading. They have refunded me £150, I paid £600 for the MRI which was of no use to me I had to pay to see a Consultant and I had to have another MRI done. The whole experience was unprofessional and very stressful, that I had an acute injury undiagnosed properly for two weeks and have had to have another MRI done. I am writing this review so that others are aware of the processes and time scale with Pall Mall.

Strings of the coil were probably cut too short as I can't find them and neither can they. I'm already worried whether this will cause complications when I need to get it removed. Secondly, on my ultrasound appointment the assistant was just the lady from reception (she didn't appear to have medical training) and there was an unhygienic situation as a result that did not seem to be resolved... The male gynecologist was friendly but seemed dismissive of my pain. I'd like to be ok with a male gynecologist but they really just don't know first hand what it is to be female and it shows in how they treat you (this is based on my experience with Pall Mall as well as with other male gynecologists on the NHS). Phone/reception staff were friendly and it's possible to quickly see someone, but I will not be back. For the money they charge this should be a top notch experience/service, and it was not.

I recently visited Pall Mall Medical in Manchester where I attended an appointment with Dr Sultan. I would thoroughly recommend this consultant. He answered all my questions and was extremely helpful and caring in his approach. He went above and beyond what I expected and I am extremely grateful to him for all his advice and support.

I recently had a full women s Health Screen at the King Street clinic. From booking the appointment , to the actual medical and follow up, I have found the whole process professional and caring. I would say outstanding. The booking staff Danielle, the receptionists , Dr. Tang and the nurse who took my bloods etc were considerate, kind and most importantly filled me with confidence. Thank you all.

Overall this place is OK. Its hard getting through to them on the phone, but my main issue is the COVID restrictions. Don't get me wrong, I am over the top with COVID safety, I still wear a mask (March 2022). When COVID was at its highest infection and full in lock down was in place, I had an appointment here & because English is not my first language my husband came with me. We answered a few questions and no problem. The problem is NOW (March 2022). Restrictions have ended, I can go anywhere, do anything & visit people in hospital. Pall Mall are now more strict than during full lock down ! They will not let my husband come with me & I begged them. We both live together and we both take Lateral Flow Tests. So, during me last appointment I misunderstood the doctor - because I was on my own. I am all for safety, but when you can go visit a care home or a hospital, etc - I don't really understand why they won't let me bring my husband, especially when I have a good reason. To be honest, it just feels like they don't want many people it - then they dont have to clean & turn the drinks machine on. I have now booked another place, its incredibly clean, they ask all the usual COVID questions - BUT THEY LISTEN TO THE PAYING CUSTOMER. If you are paying private fees, they need to listen & at least consider your request - especially when during lock down they allowed it!

Really unhappy with my most recent experience here. Let me just start by saying I have used pall mall Manchester numerous times in the past and always had a good experience. I’ve had £100 tests all the way upto £15k surgery with them and not had any issues. I booked in with them on Wednesday for an X-ray for a potential broken bone. I’ve had private X-rays before with different companies and even had one recently on the NHS. Every time i have always received my results instantly, even with the NHS. Usually I pay £150 on average for a small area private X-ray and as stated above that always includes an instant diagnosis. With pall mall I paid £200 and assumed I would get my results straight away, especially considering this is the most expensive X-ray ive ever paid for and always had a really efficient experience with them, and it’s only for a smaller part of my body. After the X-ray I was informed it will take 5 working days to get my results. I was obviously very unhappy with this and didn’t want to be walking around with a possible broken bone for another week, especially after paying so much money. A lot of things were dependant on me having full mobility and I obviously couldn’t do anything until I know for sure it isn’t broke. I find it very disingenuous that this was stressed to me upon booking, as this isn’t standard practice anywhere I have been before. I think it’s really weird that they expect X-ray patients to wait so long especially considering the time sensitive nature of broken bone treatments. Obviously I should have asked how long the turn around is, but you have to appreciate I’ve had numerous NHS and private X-rays and never once have I had to wait. So why would I assume the most expensive I’ve had is going to make me wait so long. I called up to complain and they told me they would give me £50 refund and would get my results to me in 2 days. They obviously didn’t do either of these things else I wouldn’t be writing this review right now. I was also informed that the reason it takes so long is because they outsource everything. Which to me just illustrates how much of a money making scheme this is, they are saving money by outsourcing everything instead of paying to have staff on site, while also charging the highest rate I have ever encountered. Says it all really. I’ll never use Pall Mall again after this experience. They have lost a very loyal and consistent customer. It’s such a joke when you can literally get better treatment on the NHS for free.

The staff are really helpful, friendly and informative. I'm so grateful as I've been suffering with my hay-fever and got me booked in straight away. The appointment was smooth and the doctor was lovely. Would highly recommend coming here for any of your needs. A lovely team and customer friendly

My wife and I came here for a visa medical. All the staff were very friendly, professional, and caring. We received the results promptly. I can't recommend highly enough as a place to get a medical for a visa.

I had an Ultimate Health Screen and consultation with Dr Adil Khan, and a CT scan that he recommended based on the results of the health screen. Everything was scheduled and organised quickly and efficiently. The Ultimate Health Screen covers a wide set of tests providing a very good view of the overall state of health. I received a very comprehensive report about the results. My meeting and subsequent phone call with Dr Khan were very reassuring and provided me with very good advise on changes I should make in my lifestyle to improve my health. The CT scan results arrived earlier than expected and brought me good news. I am highly satisfied with my experience and plan to go through the same health screening every 1-2 year in the future.

Had an appointment over my hay fever. It went really well and from reception to seeing the GP, I had a warm and friendly reception. The booking team fit me in during my lunch break so I can pop in whilst not taking any time off work. Was given lots of options but chose the injection and 3 days later, its really working. The staff are all extremely professional and very friendly - from the reception staff and booking team to the consultants themselves. Also very easy to book next day/early appointments on the phone. Best private healthcare in Manchester!

After being ill for almost 5 weeks doing test after test and getting fobbed off by my gp, I went to Pall Mall. The consultation with Dr Tang was really good because he listens to the patient and arranged the correct tests for my symptoms. The nurse who took my blood was really chatty and I barely felt it, he was brilliant! I feel better now I know we're getting some where. Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

The last few years I've had hell with getting my child the care needed. The consultant dr dixit couldn't of been more helpful if he tried, advice was given and actioned and has resulted in a new treatment path for my child. I'm extremely greatful for the talk and outside clinical point of view which was very much needed. I will certainly be back if we need any kind of assessments in the future. He took his time out to ring me late at night and showed what a true Doctor should be like. Staff over the phone were lovely and very friendly caring from start to finish

Absolute rip off, charged me £250 for a dermatology appointment which was absolutely no help to me at all. I basically paid all that money to be told "I have eczema and there's nothing I can do about it." Only went private as it was getting worse as I got older and the NHS weren't admitting me to one without the fee. On top of all this they charged me an extra £40 at the end which I presumed was to pay for the prescriptions provided but to my horror I went to boots and was told I had to pay £61 for 4 prescriptions! Bare in mind all these prescriptions I have had before/could get over the counter for about 1/4 of the price. For reference one was a eumovate cream which costs £6 over the counter - why am I getting charged more for using an already more expensive service? Would never use a private service ever again and will recommend anyone to take the NHS route as this is clearly a scam for those with too much money- if I could give 0 stars I would. If Pall Mall could explain to me what the extra £40 I paid at the end was for I'd love to know as the £250 was already ridiculous for the information your so called 'dermatologist' provided.

Had some blood tests here. Danielle the clinician was brilliant, I’m very bad to take blood from but she was great! Easiest blood test I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!

I booked a scan on the Monday and received the results by Thursday. A fantastic service provided by very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Went here a while back for a private GP appointment I thought these guys would be good and highly professional for a 2nd opinion. Instead the Asian doctor smirked when I went in and told what brought me in that day. I definitely would not recommend at all. Better to use an online service for a private GP appointment as hopefully those doctors won't laugh at you.

After being let down repeatedly by the NHS and misdiagnosed I saw Dr Sukthankar who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It was a genuine relief to be finally told what my problem was and what course of action was required. I had been suffering from the same condition for months and the doctors at Liverpool Royal had repeatedly failed to correctly diagnose me. I was seen within 2 days of enquiring at Pall Mall and I’m so grateful that I finally have some answers.

Absolutely useless and poor customer service! Soo rude, behaves like a racist and illiterates. Avoid at all cost. There are better clinics in Manchester to have your private blood test. Enquired them if glucose tolerance and insulin resistance is the same test. The lady I spoke to ‘Benna or Anna’ was disgustingly rude and told me that she is not a GP to answer that. Avoid at all cost. Pall mall you need to kick that lady out if you want to keep running your business! I regret I even think of doing my test here!!! Rubbish customer service and communication with customers!

Very unprofessional. My anomaly scan was cancelled at 8pm the night before my appointment, because the consultant (Dr Maiti) hadn’t bothered to check his schedule and decided he didn’t want to do it. We had already booked time off work and a babysitter to attend. Would not recommend this place or consultant at all.

They were so slow at circling back to me with the GP’s recommendations and tests required. It took about 3 months to get that feedback after several follow ups and escalation. Surprisingly, for almost 4 months, I am still awaiting their referral for a necessary test, which I have sent emails chasing for. Again, they are just calling for payment of an amount that wasn’t previously communicated to me as at August when the transaction occurred. I paid a couple of invoices months ago and shocked to hear about a bill almost 4 months after a procedure was done. More so, poor management of the hospital showcased in almost all my visits. Rapid leakage from a beverage dispenser, lack of a basic equipment, long booking days for some tests/procedures. I’m so disappointed and do not recommend, unless they improve.

Been there for an abdominal scan, and whilst having it done, haven't had any feedback from the person who did the scan, I was looking to receive some data, images or even some usable info for 130£, but not, the report came back as a simple phrase, "normal appearance..." and no other info. Was expecting, like other clinics policy is, to receive a detailed report, with images of the scans, usable information,etc. Won't recommend this to anyone, 130£ for a scan is a rip off, at least how this clinic is doing it.

AVOID! Ordered & paid for a full body MRI. Then rang up to book a appointment date to which I was passed around & ignored. The with no prior reason it was refunded. Finally spoke to someone who said they are not honouring the price and to rebook at over double the cost. Wish I had read other reviews on Google first. Very unprofessional. For saying this is meant to be ‘private’ I think you’ll have a better chance with the NHS! DO NOT USE!!

Absolutely pathetic. What kind of service do you guys give. A rip-off of £100 for a pregnancy blood test on top of that you expect the customer to call you and ask for a report, then you give a report which to a lay man seems greek and then expect them to interpret the results where a simple summary of a simple yes and no, a positive affirmation from the doctor or the clinician stating that the result is positive or negative. You need to level up your game and see how the world around you is working. If you need to see how a pathology lab report looks like and detailed it can be get in touch and I will take you to school.

How medical care should be. Arranged an appointment for tests on Friday. Had the tests carried out Tuesday morning, with the results receive Tuesday night. Unbelievable service and care by all staff. Will be using the Newton le WIllows team again in the future.

Very fast, efficient and friendly service. I had blood tests result back in less than 20 hours. I would highly recommend the practice for getting to the bottom of health concerns quickly.

Avoid.. I paid £339 for a emergency blood test at 5:20pm on Monday at pall mall Manchester. I rang up to let them know I was running 10 minutes late and they politely let me know the doctor was happy to wait and for me to get there as soon as I could. I arrived at 5:30pm to be told by the receptionist that the doctor has gone home and I need to reschedule my appointment. Utter rubbish will never be returning.

My daughter had received some daunting blood test results which completely alarmed me and I was understandably panicked and worried thinking the worst . The team at pall mall especially Dr Maiti were amazing . They got me in quickly, the very next day and they not only repeated all Of my daughters bloods as well as running extra ones but they did an ultra sound and reassured me all of the way . They kept me updated throughout and called me in the evening letting me know as and when individual blood test results came back . They were empathetic in their approach yet meticulous in the care they delivered. Honestly I cannot thank them enough . My daughter is only 17 and they treated her with so much kindness and patience, and I am incredibly grateful. They made an unbearable situation a million times easier. Please please do not go anywhere else if you need a gynaecologist Dr Maiti is the best as are the team at Manchester pall mall, you are in excellent hands .
