Booked this restaurant as it was our 12th wedding anniversary and our 1st holiday abroad before we got engaged was to Turkey (Bodrum). Restaurant is local and has great reviews so thought would give it a try. On arrival (we were early) we was greeted at the door by Celine who made us welcome & showed us to our table. Drinks were promptly ordered while we decided on what to have from the menu. We decided not to have a starter. I decided on the mixed kebab grill with rice & wife had the chicken beyti with chips. Both were served with a side salad & bread. One of the great things about this place is that you can see the chefs preparing your meal. The meals soon arrived and they were generous portions. I can gladly say we both found the food glorious. The meat was tender and not chewy. We gave it a good go to finish but was defeated, but they packed up the remaining food for us to take away. The pictures don't do justice as to how large the meals are. Overall, this is great place for Turkish food, the price is reasonable too for what you get. I would rather eat here and keep local businesses going rather than the big nationals. Again, thank you to Celine and Jan for being so attentive while we was there, and the rest of the team for the amazing work they do.

Superb mixed platter for 2. 33 quid more than enough, tender meat, fluffy rice, loads of flavour, and great service 😋

Four of us went to this restaurant on Saturday evening at 7pm and it was busy but still had a very nice table available. We ordered chicken kebab, ribs, mixed kebab and chicken wings. Everything was cooked in front of us and the aroma from the food was amazing. When we got our food it all came out together so no one was left waiting and was served to us by very attentive staff. The food was FANTASTIC...cooked exactly as we would want it and the taste was amazing.... I have been passed this restaurant loads of times and had often said we will have to try that place some day...well now I have and I am so glad I did.. if ever you want an excellent meal properly cooked with extremely pleasant staff and excellent prices try this place.....

This is the best restaurant I ate in.. My wife and son were impressed with the deliciousness of the food and the warm reception, and even the price is good, much better than some restaurants.. Thank you so much,a another time.

Just wow. We had a nightmare at another restaurant and rang here to see if there was any chance at all they could fit in a group of 24 guests. They said yes with no problem at all. 10 minutes later all 24 of us arrived. It was a Monday night and there was only 2 floor staff and one chef. This didn’t seem to phase them whatsoever. The staff were UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! so organised, professional, kind and polite! Hats off to the chef to who was amazing. The food was just delicious. And they really did make our whole evening especially after the disaster it started out as (in the first place we went to) Can’t recommend this place enough. The staff and the food are second to none! We were beyond grateful and they really did work so hard! Unbelievable!

Great meal for my birthday. Kate (waitress) was brilliant. we even sang happy birthday (stevie wonder) as a duet. she's not a bad singer. but I was better .we sat opposite the 2 hard working chefs which you can see cooking in their open plan kitchen

The food is delicious! We shared a hot mixed platter as a starter- everything on it was so tasty and fresh. I had the chicken kebab which was perfectly cooked- also would be suitable for children who don’t like spicy food. Another main was the sea bass (which you can have filleted) - this was perfectly cooked also. No dessert as we were so full! Service was friendly and efficient, you can also see the chef cooking 🧑‍🍳 Will definitely be returning with family and friends 😊. They also do a early bird menu on certain days which would be great value for money.

I visited Define with a large group of people. We originally booked a private room due to a birthday celebration however as soon as we got there apparently the room was flooded, however I believe that was untrue, due to the amount of people that dropped out beforehand, so that wasn’t a good start. In terms of the food, I ordered the Adana which was nice and staff friendly, however in terms of cuisines compared to this I would say that there is better out there.

Was recommended this by a friend and I'm so glad they did. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. The staff/service is so friendly, will definitely recommend this to others. Thank you for a lovely meal.

On arrival of the restuarant the staff were so welcoming. The Chef was visible cooking our meals the smell was amazing. By far the best tahini sauce and bread I've tasted. The meals were huge I ordered ribs and it came with rice and salad. We ordered a side of chips. I can't fault the food and service at Defne far better than other restuarants we've visited in the area. Believe they do take out to ! Will definitely be ordering or visiting again. We'll done to the lovely attentive staff, you were amazing 👏

One of the best turkish restaurants we've been through, and I must say that it's worth every penny. Great variety of food choices, seafoods, meat, salads, drinks, etc. We live in Leeds and we just visit Liverpool every weekends and this is our to go to restaurant. The food itself is sumptuous, its delicious and affordable. The portion is generous. The taste? It's worth it! Its delicous and very tasty. One of my favorites is the hummuos and their turkish bread, I always crave for hummuos and I must say; try it!😉 Calamares, is soft and freshly cooked not tender and chewy. Mixed grill is a very big portion and I love the rice and salad that comes with it. Price is good for the taste and portion they give. I think its cheap coz you got what you paid for. Ambience, everytime we go there is full of people. Lots of family and friends go there. It's quite loud due to loads of people coz its a good place to eat and bond. Customer service, is beyond perfect. Everyone is accomodating, the staff are friendly and approachable. The serving of food is great and the food is freshly served, not too slow turn around time. Parking is quite difficult so we just parked on the nearby houses. Luckily there's always a spot. Highly recommended!!👍👍👍👍👍 Will definitely go back and try other dish..

Absolutely yummy 😋. I had the lamb chops, they were fabulous, cooked to perfection. The rice and salad were both gorgeous too. My boyf had a mixed grill he thoroughly enjoyed it couldn't eat it all, left some chicken. We have been here a good few times since it first opened and never been disappointed. Kate served us she was very pleasant and a young lad never got his name was also very pleasant. The kitchen staff are amazing. Thank you all for a pleasant evening. John & Jan xx

Absolutely fantastic! First off what great staff everyone even from phoning to book was very friendly and helpful. Kitchen staff was smiling and interacting with customers. Our children loved when he showed them their order cooking in the very clean kitchen through the window - which was fantastic to see an open kitchen. The waiting staff was friendly and helpful. Quick service and delicious perfectly cooked, good quality food at a very reasonable price. The owner Deb was genuinely friendly and our first experience at this restaurant was fantastic, we will definitely be back to visit! The restaurant was very clean and accessible with a couple of parking spaces at the front. I am not vegetarian but the menu did have vegetarian options available.

Always a pleasure to dine here. Staff including the chef are always welcoming and give a great service. Food is amazing and we always bring visitors here when they come to stay.

we had a family birthday meal on saturday 20th november 2021,first time for all of us it was recomended by a friend, must give it 10 out of 10, food was outstanding every one agreed even the kids, the staff could not have done more to make us welcome ,we booked our next birthday meal with them , and are looking forward to another great meal, would recomend it to anyone .

Visiting Liverpool from Australia, and looking for dinner on our first night here, we discovered this little gem of a restaurant. Food was delicious and the staff friendly and welcoming… it couldn’t have been a better experience! And our ten year old was fully won over by the complementary kids menu ice cream👌 Thanks guys for a lovely evening!

Great tasty food generous potions for a reasonable price

Fantastic food. Been to a few Turkish restaurants recently and this is hands down the best. Even the wife (who's birthday it was on the night) loved it and she's a picky eater. She loves Mediterranean food but they haven't captured it over here (according to her anyway) but she cleaned the plate. There were 6 of us and more than once no-one was talking, just enjoying and savouring our food. So much so my son didn't take any photo's and he usually does. would 100% recommend and will 100% be going back
