With
a
prescription
of
+9
long
sighted
and
astigmatism
I
do
not
think
I
have
to
say
anymore
as
to
why
I
was
considering
lens
replacement.
I
have
worn
glasses
all
my
life
and
contact
lenses
for
the
past
30
years,
I
was
beginning
to
struggle
with
both
and
always
longed
to
be
able
to
see
the
alarm
clock
on
a
morning
😊.
Having
carried
out
a
full
review
of
the
clinics
offering
lens
replacement
I
chose
Optical.
I
was
unsure
whether
I
would
be
suitable
and
very
unsure
of
what
to
expect.
From
the
first
consultation
to
the
actual
surgery
the
support
and
care
was
fantastic.
At
Sheffield,
the
team
do
not
take
any
chances
and
want
to
make
sure
you
get
the
best
care
and
receive
the
right
solution.
I
had
my
initial
consultation
and
although
they
did
not
foresee
a
problem,
they
sent
me
to
Manchester
for
further
tests
to
confirm
suitability.
The
day
of
my
surgery
was
smooth,
and
I
was
well
looked
after,
all
the
time
the
team
reassure
you
and
inform
you
of
what
the
procedure
is
and
outcomes.
For
anyone
who
is
concerned
I
have
to
say
the
surgery
is
not
a
long
process
and
is
free
of
pain
and
when
you
sit
up
you
can
see
the
difference,
even
on
the
journey
home
I
could
make
out
the
road
signs
“amazing”
As
the
weeks
and
months
have
passed,
it
has
been
a
wonderful
journey,
my
sight
has
improved
far
more
than
I
expected.
I
am
now
nearly
12
months
on,
and
my
vision
is
excellent,
not
even
using
reading
glasses.
The
aftercare
has
been
second
to
none
and
nothing
is
too
much
trouble
for
the
team
in
Sheffield.
What
I
would
like
to
say
is,
if
you
are
thinking
about
laser
surgery,
have
a
chat
with
the
Optical
team
you
will
be
surprised
by
what
they
can
offer.
Also,
I
waited
and
deliberated
until
I
was
58
of
age
“hindsight
is
a
wonderful
thing
“and
I
would
defiantly
have
had
it
done
sooner,
I
can
now
see
the
alarm
clock
and
do
not
get
shouted
at
anymore
for
asking
the
time
every
morning
😊
