Don't look at those negative reviews, this attraction was AMAZING we had such a good night. We went with a range of ages from 13 to 35. These actors are there for hours and hours without a break and are performing extremely well til the very end, we went in the last time slot and they were still very energetic and entertaining. The experience is what you make it and we came out in stitches from laughing and screaming. I would 100% recommend it and will definitely go back next year. Iv been 4 times now and each time had been totally different in a good way. Definitely worth the money.

We really enjoyed Scare Kingdom! 5 of us went. Nice civered area outside to eat fresh pizzas, burgers or hot dogs. Beautiful hot drinks. Full works hotchocolate was stunning! The indoor build mazes and live actors were brilliant. Made us jump numerous times.! Definitely recommend. Big thanks to all involved. Really made our night.

Brilliant! Actors wandering round interacting. No queues and great actors inside the places. Very jumpy and lots of scares! Reasonably priced food and drink and a great atmosphere throughout. Would definitely recommend going.

So good. Scary enough. Actors were amazing. 5 attractions and stories. Good places for food and drinks. Cue may take a while but it was simply amazing. The Witches coven was one of the best ones. Appropriately for adults more than children. Good space for Parking. Easily accessible.

This was my first time at scare kingdom and it was a fantastic experience! The different sets were well themed and each person in our group had a favourite maze, I really liked the fact that they all had their own horror elements and stories so you'd definitely find one to give you a good scare! I personally thought the actors were great, the creepy priests sermon was unnerving and set the scene well and the clowns chasing at the end was a great way to finish the night. Definitely would go again, so much fun and a great way to get into the Halloween spirit! 😁

Visited on Saturday and had an absolute blast! All 5 Scare Mazes are unique you can tell there has been so much effort to make all the mazes look and feel different. Loved all the theming and the actors are fantastic, they really make the whole thing! It was definitely an experience not to miss from start to finish! The Paradise Foundation was a strong start to the night, then moving through to The House of Tarot and Gothica had some great scares and the mazes were perfectly themed! Body Snatchers in the butchers basement was definitely the biggest scare of the night and not for the feint of heart. The final maze was my favourite of the night Zozo's grind house, a dark twisted circus with lots of scares and terrifying characters. All in all, a fantastic night and well worth a visit... if you dare!

Amazing value for money. It just kept on going! ...I think we were wandering in and out of scary bits for almost an hour. Queuing was not bad at all. Actors were phenomenal...we were all adequately terrified during the event and I can't wait to come back!

Just very underwhelmed by the whole experience. There were 6 warehouses with different types of scare settings, the queue was the scariest part of each with how long you waiting. If you were at the front you got the scare, anyone after the first 3 you just watch the actors resetting for the next group, the actors face makeup didn’t help much either, a child could of done the makeup better. The last warehouse was a clown circus, even at the front we didn’t see a single actor but the host at the entrance, very disappointed for the biggest and final scare.

Been a couple of times now for Halloween. Its best to pre book as it does get booked up. Easy to find. Lots of free parking and has small bar / food area after you finished but can get crowed. The over all experience is fun and scary. Costumes and actors really good. It worth a visit. They do have other things on through out the year too. Wasn't that keen on the extra bit we paid for at the end. But was still ok

Absolutely brilliant night, I will definitely be going again. If you like a good scare night, definitely worth going, the atmosphere is great, the staff in and around are all in costumes with amazing makeup. There are 5 different themes to go through and another additional one for over 16s. Definitely a 5* from me

Brilliant night out, big shout out to scare kingdom, especially the checkered contortionist, simply amazing job, truly frightening. All mazes didn't disappoint, no one maze stood out against another, uniform effort from beginning to end. Loved the court jester, watched him handle a trouble patron with ease. I don't think that some people understand what court jesters job actually is. He's there to take the Mickey and make people laugh. It's all light hearted fun. To truly enjoy the experience you have to emerse yourself in it. He did his job really well and dealt with the trouble excellently. Don't worry jester, I was watching and if he did anything I had your back! He took the Mick out of me and I found it funny. The food was excellent, the people were friendly, and the event delivered, left feeling great and not out of pocket. Thanks scare kingdom SEE YOU AT CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!

Was a really fun night with my misses, really enjoyed it and the 18+ part is worth the extra money for a laugh, the only down side is the waiting time but still a really great night can't wait for next time.

Really disappointed, not scary ,too fast drove over an hour to get here. Its definitely for teenagers not adults . Feel like I have just waisted my money. The whole party feel the same . Acting was really bad ,between events there was nothing to entertain us really boring

Do not waste your time or money on this attraction. I’ve been for the past 3 years and it’s usually really good, this year was by far the worst as we had hardly any interaction with the staff. Β£30 for literally half an hour of walking around the scare houses with hardly any interaction. Such a waste of money and will not be coming back again. Gone down hill

  • 1/5 Darcy M. 7 months ago on Google
Really disappointed. Been previous years and couldn’t wait to go this year. There was only a handful of actors. I think there was more security than scare actors this year. We were just walking around one of the scare houses with no interaction with an actor at all. There was no atmosphere between the houses or in the main seating area. It was just really boring this year. Waste of money and wouldn’t go again now after this year.

I came here after having such an amazing night pre covid when I came before. I still enjoyed it but felt like there were a lot less actors? Like, the circus had barely anyone there I think like one actor was in the maze. Nevertheless, it was fun still. I just think it didn't have the same energy as before.

Came a long way to scare kingdom and i left feeling very let down. All the ads i saw said "scariest attraction, award winning event, best in uk " this is not the case.Alton towers and york maze blow scare kingdom out of the water.Scare kingdom seems to be for children and the mazes were very tame. There was no halloween athmosphere and the whole thing seemed very rushed. It took me 35 mins to do all the mazes and i dont think it was worth the moneybat all.I paid extra to do the horror escape room which was over in 10 mins and was absolutley rubbish.I wont be going back again.I will be sticking to york maze, yorkshire scaregrounds and alton towers

Enjoyed the new Eniga Escape Room, although it didn't last long at all. There are four challenges with 30 seconds to solve each one. We were the first of the night to solve all of them (the last two were completed at the last second). Went on to the mazes, liked the organisation but a lot of the time is spent queueing. Queueing to get in, then at each maze. And you can't move on to the next until you complete each one. They were really good, except Gothica, that was over far too quickly. Loved the commitment of the actors to stay in character, and especially their interactions with the queues at the first maze (forget what it's called) and the last one (Zozo's Grindhouse). Had a really great night overall and will likely head back again for one of their other events.

Went to the one in Blackburn, it’s not good at all claims it’s UK’s sickest attraction honestly the path coming down to the place was scarier. We spent longer queuing to get into the 2 haunted houses than we spent in them and the last house is terrible, it has so much potential but poorly executed and ended within 5 minutes. The first house was mediocre, if i was a 3 year old I would have been scared but I saw half the actors poke their heads out or move before they jumped out so that completely ruined it. Would not recommend going .

We had traveled from Leeds for the Halloween night. We were disappointed. We have done many scare grounds and heard goods things about here, we definitely won't be back. You had to follow the order pretty much as you queued to enter. So you end up with the same group of people every house you enter and the same people at the front of the group always getting the jump scares. You can not choose which house you enter, it all follows along as it all leads around to the exit. The second house was just a walk through, it was as if there were actors missing. I wouldn't even have been so disappointed about the scares if we had had a laugh while going round. It was just all a little...boring. the hot chocolate was nice though.

There are positives and it was a laugh, but for me personally, there was far too much waiting and the mazes are over too quickly, so it's difficult to justify. It's so busy and you spend most of your time queuing up outside (luckily it wasn't raining). Entertainment while you queue would have been welcome. The mazes themselves weren't too bad, plus actors and staff did a good job for the most part.....some were lacking actors and jump scares, but I think the fact it's so busy probably limits the actors abilities to maintain a scary atmosphere/attend to all customers. Overall, it was a good experience and I'd say worth a go if you've never been before, but I probably wouldn't return.

The mazes were okay there were a couple i thought were rubbish not many actors at all wouldnt travel to go there again unless they made things alot better definitely would say that its not worth what you pay

Absolutely brilliant, the attention to detail, the themes and actors, and the overall size of the place. Its taken very seriously. Been multiple times as it changes every year.
