Great place they have a good selection of plants and shrubs. The garden furniture is really good quality. Quite busy but still really good on the mask and hand gel at all points. The cafe was well organised and the food great.

Just been for Breakfast after a friend recommended here...we were not disappointed as lovely place!! Food & service fab. After we then had a wonder round the Garden Centre & brought a lovely Pink fragrant rose. We shall be back soon as got a sale for September with 25% off the Garden Centre but this doesn't include the cafe & thinking about buying a Arbour. Thank you to the lovely staff & see you soon.

What a fabulous buffet and well worth the money. Went above and beyond to help with dietary needs. Everything was fresh and homemade which was wonderful. Will definitely be recommending Woodworks to family and friends but most importantly, will be using again. Thank you ☺️

Popped up on Google, reviews sounded good thought I would visit.I was expecting it to be as good as it sounded, well it was better than I expected, the scones were the best I had ever tasted, large fluffy and warm, well presented with jam and cream, homemade carrot cake to die for.I would highly recommend a visit,I can't wait for my next visit.Spotlessly clean, friendly pleasant staff.

Good. Menu a little limited and bread( e.g. Welsh rarebit) too thick for me, but salad accompanying dishes is beautiful and freshest I have had anywhere( including 5star hotels) every time.

First visit even though I live locally I've never popped in. This is a true gem. A lot more than you'll expect and bigger than it looks. Some fantastic stuff and well presented plants and flowers. Spotted stuff I've not seen in any other garden centre and went home to plan were we'll put things we've been looking for once we go back to stock up. The staff were great and friendly and looked very happy to help. Definitely going back to make our garden bloom this year.

Really nice cafe inside the garden centre. They do a lovely breakfast. It's a little pricier than some other breakfasts in Mold, but that is reflected in the quality of the food too. Nice atmosphere and staff were good

Loved this place. Went looking for stain for my rabbit hutch and was pleasantly surprised. Great selection of wooden garden furniture at very reasonable prices and the staff were very helpful and friendly and they had the stain I wanted.

Fabulous Garden centre with a brilliant selection of plants and very reasonably priced wooden planters, as well as a selection of gifts, and the café was particularly nice. The service was excellent, it was clean and the food and drinks were very good. Staff are friendly and helpful with any queries in both the garden centre and the café. We will definitely be visiting again!

Amazing service and dog friendly. Brought a fresh bowl of water and some biscuits for our puppy. Coffee and cafe was amazing! Seated outdoor due to having a dog but this wasnt a problem as we sat in their excellent gazebo range all rigged with heaters. Will absolutely return

Always a favourite place to visit for lunch. It's popular, so I recommend booking a table in advance. They've got a varied lunch menu, that is updated often and usually have daily specials to choose from as well. Everything's made fresh to order. Each visit the food is always very tasty and beautifully cooked or prepared, they maintain consistently high standards. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The cafe creates a lovely atmosphere to catch up with friends. Make sure to leave time to have a mooch around the garden centre, good range of plants and gift ideas.

Best breakfast in North Wales, the sausages are amazing. Also love the doorstep toast and the Lemon Meringue pie. Lovely staff as well. Best to book, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.

Simple good grub. Nothing too fancy which is where other places are going wrong. Perfect place for a breakfast, coffee and catch up. Don't change! Shop is also full of lovely gifts.

The reason for the low star rating is due to the service - the food was okay with the soup and sandwich deal being reasonable, initially we had to wait / queue outside which was not a problem due to nice weather but once seated we were approached within a couple of minutes asking for our order, we asked for a few more minutes as we had not had chance to read the menu and that lead to a delay of 15 minutes before someone came back to us. If this was the only delay I would have been happy but once our meal was finished I had to request for the empty dishes to be removed even though we had several staff walk past our table and noted the empty dishes, empty glasses for at least another 15 minutes. The staff member I asked for the menu was clearly uninterested and I could of understood if they had been rushed off their feet but at that time it appeared not that busy. Slightly overpriced with poor service

We went for lunch in the cafe. We had pre booked an outdoor pod which was very comfortable. The service was excellent and there was a nice choice of light lunches. We had the sandwiches which came a choice of bread and a side salad. The prices were reasonable and we weren't rushed. Will be making another visit very soon.

Excellent food and service in a lovely setting. There is the garden centre to walk around after, great giftware and beautifully maintained plants. Lovely place to visit and I bet you will go back.

Rang about 40 mins before arriving to ask if the cafe was dog friendly - yes if you sit outside, thanked the lady and said we’ll see them soon. Drove there only to be told cafe closed at 2pm for stock taking today (it was now 2.18). Would have been nice if the lady on the phone had told us that before, then we wouldn’t have wasted the fuel driving all that way. Not even an apology that we weren’t told when we rang earlier. So we drove back to the Pet Cemetery cafe and has a lovely meal there.

Lovely food, good service. Excellent covid protocols. Really nice gift shop but as with most garden centre gift shops, expensive!

A large range of plants, though a bit on the pricey side! Cafe attractive with barriers between tables. Very friendly staff. Menu a bit ordinary - sandwiches and jacket potatoes.

Lovely cafe with lovely fresh food. The portions were generous and we all left satisfied. They were busy so service was not as fast but it was friendly and patient.

The staff inside and the cafe team were wonderful, friendly, inviting and nothing was to much trouble. The food was delicious, plenty of choice for GF (I highly recommend the caramel apple pie) we had a lovely time. The only negative would be as we were leaving 2 male staff were moving outdoor trolleys and left one trailing behind which hit our car, when we called over to say what had happened he was very uninterested and was not bothered that he had hit our car, he didn't check if there was damage just walked on. Luckily no damage was done to the car but to not even come back over to check isn't on, it was the olderman out of the pair. Around 3pm.. Apart from the later everything was lovely and thank you to the rest of the team, this place is wheel accessible however a few pot holes in the gardens outside but otherwise it's easy to get around

At first glance the cafe might appear to be a little dear, but the quality of the food and ingredients explains why. Delicious, good sized portions. Recommended.

You can only really judge a place once you've got the final bill. Today for 4, one of us had a sausage butty, we had two full breakfasts and one lighter breakfast (without egg). 2 hot drinks and 2 glasses of orange. The large breakfasts were fine, but the small breakfast minus egg was one tiny rasher of bacon and one pretty small sausage, beans and toast. It was quite pitiful really to see it. When the final bill came it was over £41, which, for what we had seems like too much. My wife left really unhappy, I felt like it wasn't too bad. Quality of food is good and service is good as well. But I agree, the difference between a light breakfast and a full breakfasts is too great, the lighter breakfast should be significantly cheaper.

Had lunch at Woodworks garden centre in Mold today. I have ate in many places but never have I recieved such a high polite and helpful standard from staff before. Every single worker from the garden centre to the cafe/restaurant were so polite and made the whole experience joyful and relaxed. Food was really good to. Thank you to all the staff especially the restaurant staff.

Lovely sandwich with side salad and dressing (coleslaw and crisps were extra and I felt a tad expensive for something most places include without extra charge). The staff were excellent and made us feel very welcome. I would recommend a visit

We decided to go to The Woodworks cafe while we were in the area visiting my brother and his family. We were able to book in advance as we weren't sure how busy it'd be on bank holiday Monday (fairly but the atmosphere was calm). Every staff member was polite and friendly and made us feel welcome from start to end. The menu has a decent lunch selection, as typical you'd expect from a garden centre cafe, with a delicious selection of cakes, bakes and pies (the apple pie was 10/10). Food arrived quickly but was also made fresh to order so don't expect fast food turn around times. The portions were decent and tasted lovely. Overall it was a lovely experience visiting and we'd happily visit again, and maybe next time we'll have time to look around the garden centre!
