Received bad customer service tonight from the manager tonight, the Oatmilk was incorrectly advertised as £1 and I genuinely believed that they where at that price so when I scanned it came up at £1.40 and I told the checkout till operator there around 9.40pm 05/08/2019 and she was friendly and sweet and told me that they where incorrectly but she can't put them through as she has to go to the manager, then the manager said to me that they where the wrong type of oatmilk and not the asda one, but then I kindly told her that they where advertised at £1 but then she told me I should of read it better and it wasn't her fault and possibly a customer had put it there in the wrong place, then said to me that if I still want these in a really stressy, angry voice, also I tried to put my side of the story but the manager was rude and abrupt and just ignored my point of view the manager made out that I was trying to pull a fast one to save some money and when she told the checkout till operator about it, she was surprised that she didn't put it through, the attitude of the manager shouldn't be tolerable to the customer, I guess the manager didn't like my face that's the impression I had. I walked out there felt hard done by, but felt worst with the attitude of the manager and didn't consider listen to any point of views I shared to her, wont be shopping there again either, maybe the manager behaviour works with the staff at Asda but being rude to customers leads to negative reviews like this towards your store and less profits. As you can see below pictures that it WASN'T customer that put these there but a member of staff which is INCORRECTLY advertised as £1 and especially if someone is new to oat milk they wouldn't know the brand name. VERY bad etiquette from asda.

The store is very well spaced with lots of stock. I have a mostly good experience in this store. The staff are friendly, and it is a very local Asda where everyone knows each other! No matter who you are, they will always greet you with a smile. The security are awesome, at Christmas they were giving out free Broccoli to customers which I thought was helpful! They once let me keep free cookies too a few years back (the self checkout staff). I do not usually go to Asda, but this branch I will definitely go again! A+++

WHERE'S THE PROTECTION FOR ASDA DRIVERS My husband tested positive for Covid and myself were self-solating. We expected our Groceries to be in paper bags so when delivered could be put on our step taking crates away. To our horror the driver handed my husband the crates one by one as I couldn't help as I have a broken ankle. ALL OUR GROCERIES WERE LOOSE IN THE CRATES. So the driver was handling and speaking to someone with Covid. Parcels are left on steps to protect their employees. Our stuff was on our floor. Who at Asda arranges this????

Please could you STOP covering the bicycle RAILINGS section with many trolleys full 100s of plants, there's no where to lock our bikes when you do this.I will take a picture next time it happens so head office can see.

Not at all a friendly shop. It smelt strongly of urine outside and the staff are loud and rude with certain customers. The woman on the customer service desk had no name tag on and refused to give her name, she was foul mouthed and acted as if she is above you when in reality she only works in Asda and has the teeth of 30+ smoker. To put it simply it's not a very nice place and I would rather go somewhere else for my shopping rather than let the staff belive they are better than the customers that keep the shop open.

I know food prices have shot up but Asda is getting expensive. It's cheaper to shop in Premium supermarkets. With it being a smaller asda the choice of fresh produce is restricted. Couldn't even buy fresh leaks here.

Negative side :: We did a online shopping ,they stated they had everything in stock ,we wanted the 5 x Dark Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter ,no sugar Cups but they did not have this, tried to give us some Lexi's Plant-Based Protein Bar Double Choc Chip 40g ,went in the Asda store where the delivery would of been processed on the same day of delivery and they had boxes and boxes of the one that we wanted...we did not except the : Lexi's Plant-Based Protein Bar Double Choc Chip 40g gave back to the driver and takes 5 days for refund.....can Asda Manager on here ,tell please, why that happened ? On the positive side:: all the other Asda shopping was there, which was great, not like Sainsburys, who are a nightmare. Reply from Customer 28/01/2023 The driver told me he got his delivery supplies from Orrell lane in Orrell Park, thats how I know.

It's a little asda but relies too much on self check out.

Good shop but trying to pay for your shopping is a nightmare. If your lucky you might find 1 person on a checkout but they won't call for more when the queue starts to build up and I know I could use the auto tills but I won't (personal choice) and why should I ? If they give me staff discount for doing there job I might consider it. Also am I insured for using electrical equipment on there premises?

Big thank you to the guy who let me use his card at ASDA on Orrell Lane! I think his name is Jake Christopher? I had 0 miles fuel and no card 😅 - I'm a special kind of stupid.
