Today was our first time coming here and my goodness what a wonderful place it is. The animals are amazingly well cared for and love a good chat. The staff are absolutely fantastic. You can feed the animals, have cuddles with guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens. This place also has a cafe which serves a variety of delicious food and the staff there are fabulous. The farm and staff are also extremely autism friendly which meant my son had an even more incredible experience. We can't wait to come back.

We had lots of fun at croxteth farm, the staff were friendly and the kids loved seeing all the animals, stroking them and/or feeding them. I would recommend and I will likely go back. Its Β£5 per person and Β£2 per bucket of feed if you want it.

We love going here. Only Β£5 per person to get in, Β£2 for a bucket of animal food. Lots of animals to interact with. Our kids favourite is Edward the pig. Food available in the cafe at reasonable prices and plenty of seats available. A good day out

Always a great day out. Great value for money and a brilliant for children and adults alike to gain some exposure to animals - all whilst in lush surroundings, made more poignant being that it's in the inner city. Five stars!

We had lots of fun! Great farm! Animals were lovely! We like that there were boards up on pens to tell you animal names and where they originate from! Quite sad really that some of the breeds of animals are rare! The owl also flew right over!

I love it here it's a great day out, staff are very friendly and will allow you to hold the bunnies, guinea pigs etc, feeding all the animals is a must, swings, slides, plenty for the little ones and a great cafe too. Well worth a visit with the kids for a fun inexpensive day out.

Lovely day here. Liked that the feed you buy was veg and not the usual brown pellets you get in other places. Cheap entrance. My boy loved it

Farm is lovely but there is one rude ignorant woman who works in the cafe. She seems younger than the other ladies in the cafe. Ruined our experience.

Took our 3 year old to go and visit Santas grotto on Monday the 6th of December on arrival we gave our details to the lady in the farm cafe and we’re told they could not find my husband’s details or name who booked the visit for us , we were asked to provide prof of our booking instead of them just asking what our surname was , which was written next to the booking fee my hubby had to try and find a connection to his internet banking which was a nightmare and the booking had been placed wrong , plus our three year is autistic and gets fed up and restless after a certain amount of time ( at this point we had been left waiting for a good 30 minutes ) She was perfectly fine going into the farm but the fact we had to mess around and provide evidence that we had paid for our visit instead of just asking what our name was and as if we were going to try and see Santa ( without paying ) made the whole experience for our little girl a nightmare and a complete waste of time and money by the time she got into the grotto she was upset and didn’t get any benefit out of the visit what so ever ! Better communication skills and handling of bookings needs to be a priority.

I love this place, its is a brilliant family morning/afternoon. The meerkat, birds of prey and other interactions they offer really really make it special.

Lovely little farm, good selection of animals. There's a little petting area and a small cafe. Outside the farm there is a large children's playground.

Really lovely visit, lots to see granddaughter really enjoyed herself.Only negative was the free child age maybe it could be upped a bit .

Brilliant little farm with plenty of animals a little bit pricey though as children same price as adults and the cafe over priced would go again, I would recommend they swerved the plant pots of animal food (carrot and turnip) into buckets with handles especially seem as they are 2 quid each to Feed their animals but the children loved the farm would come again maybe with a packed lunch the donuts were Β£2 and was definitely defrosted ones

This place is amazing, it's a great family day out. Lots of different animals to see and feed and the staff are so helpful and friendly. I only my got the name of one staff member and that was Ross and he was so nice and super helpful as all the staff and volunteers were. Give it a visit you won't be disappointed 5*

Outstanding in every respect. Friendly staff with enthusiasm and knowledge which they share with younger visitors. A wide variety of animals in clean and attractive surroundings . Facilities for visitors are excellent. We had a wonderful visit with our three year old granddaughter who was delighted by the experience.

Went with 5 kids and 2 adults and it was a ok farm but I thought it was very expensive for what it is , 5 pounds for a 4 year old and extra for food for the animals , they should offer some kind of family ticket

Lovely place to feed animals and see different breeds of farm animals, guinea pigs and rabbits. Friendly staff but Β£5 even for toddlers is not the cheapest compared to Acorn farm that also sells cheap plants and access to feeding animals. Nice walk and surrounds and playground.

Great experience for the whole family to see a big variety of farm animals. However, they could improve the toilets and install a baby changing area.

Lovely place went with a 2yr & 4yr old. Had great day lots of animals eager to be fed and petted. Staff are friendly & happy to chat to kid's. Food in cafe good I'd reasonably priced Highly recommend

A lower star review solely for the very poor Larkin cafe part of the farm. The farm animal pens were very good and the staff were excellent plus friendly. Younger children especially enjoyed being so near the animals and the descriptions of the breeds was helpful. The Larkin cafe and staff let the side down. Not friendly, no prices shown for drinks or most of the food. Got an Americano coffee that was half warm milk and tasted like weak instant coffee. Learnt all about one of the relations of the staff as she discussed this with a colleague whilst stopping preparing our 'drinks' which were overpriced etc etc. Farm is a big Yes but their Larkin cafe is a big Avoid!
