Children of all ages will enjoy the different activities there are but in my opinion the younger ones will really enjoy this place, specially hand feeding the animals and petting them. Staff at the petting area are very nice. The food is also very good.I would definitely recommend it for days when kids are bored.

Such a lovely little petting farm for all the family. Activities here from petting/ feeding animals to riding horses! Gardens & playground to explore! Onsite cafe & picnic areas. Reasonably prices throughout. Definitely worth a visit! It only lost a star due to limited parking & limited vegan options at the cafe.

Absolutely amazing place to go with kids. Great little playground you can feed the goats and chickens. There is also a petting area if you would like to get closer. They have a great shop with free range eggs from the chickens I would recommend. The staff are really friendly and helpful. There is also big sink to wash your hands after the goats have been fed. You can sit in and have lunch at the cafe if you choose. There is an overflow car park 2nd right which is much bigger and takes you through a little wood which is lovely with lots of bins 🗑 which keeps it very clean.

Acorn farm is a brilliant day to have with the kids not to big they get tired but just enough to keep them entertained.... Its reasonably priced and activities are priced separate so you don't have to do it all.. There's a picnic area and a great park for the kids... The cafe is nice and the staff are lovely

Lovely farm, very family friendly! Nice play area, quiet sanctuary, animals looked well cared for, enough parking space and activities for the kids without getting them too excited. Café food was great, everyone was friendly. We were lucky that we arrived early and I can imagine the Café getting a bit crowded if full. But it was just all Lovely and will visit again.

Our first time to this lovely city farm it’s got 2 lovely little play areas for kids of different ages there’s a little shop that you can buy food from to feed the animals as well as a cafe that does really good portions of food and priced fairly.there’s a green house where they grow plants and flowers so when your done seeing and feeding the animals check it out. There’s Guinea pigs and rabbits that you can go pet but it’s only on at certain times but for the little 1’s there’s definitely enough to see and do is definitely recommend this farm

Great little farm with a petting area and playground. Very reasonable prices both in the cafe and the farm itself. Overflow car park is just a short walk through the woods

Lovely little farm for younger children. Perfect size for little legs to walk around. Large car park and always enough space to park. Animals are very well taken care of and staff are always happy/smiling and welcoming. Small animal petting sessions available throughout the day for an extra small charge as well as animal feed. There is a small play park to burn of energy and the cafe food is really nice as was the coffee. We will definitely be back for a another visit soon.

A nice place to go for an hour or so, particularly if you have young children. However, be prepared for lots of queues. Long wait to get in, and a long queue for cafe so probably worth coming with your own food. One thing to note is that some of the main attractions like the horse riding can sell out if you arrive too late. At £3.50 per adult and 2.50 for children, it's not a bad way to spend family time.

This place is good for the kids however it is only a small place but they have outdoor play area to. Plus its cheap. The only bad thing I would say is you don't get anyone to greet you at the front near the reception area where you can buy pet food from and the first time & only time we came no one told us at the entrance we had to buy a horse riding ticket/token so when we came to the horses as you could ride on it we had to walk all the way back to the front to then be told they were sold out 😑 let's just say my daughter was a very unhappy person. More information should be given as you arrive at the front bit e.g tell us about horse tickets, tell us about what times you can feed the small animals etc we had no idea and we just seen loads of people pile out of a hut thing were they were petting the smaller animals etc.. that was the only downfall to this visit. We didn't know anything of times or tickets 🤦🏽‍♀️ Overall good place 😁

Fabulous place with friendly welcoming staff. With the petting zoo session, feeding the chickens, ducks, goats and sheep, seeing the meerkats and pigs, the 2 play areas, woodland walk, field walk and the horse ride, this is a full day out at a great price - hard to find these days! Even the toys in the little gift shop aren't expensive. Plenty of parking, lots of benches and tables for picnics, and numerous little nooks to explore. Everything is really well thought out - Acorn Farm could teach the bigger more expensive venues a thing or two. Two tired and happy children say thank you!

Lovely little place to take the grandchildren to at half term to feed the animals. Entry prices are reasonable for the kids but in my view a little excessive for accompanying adults, as was the price for the quantity received of the goat and chicken feed, however the kids had fun as you can see.

Great place to spend a few hours feeding the animals and it even has a petting section for children to meet animals safely. Staff are nice and the cafe is reasonable too!

This is a lovely little farm. I don't think it would be any good if it rains, there's no cover other than the little cafe/gift shop. Reasonably priced. Wish the horse rides weren't spaced so far apart. We had just missed the first one and had done everything, played on the park, had something to eat and was ready to go a good 45 minutes before the second slot was on. Nice food. We will go here again. Looks like they have special needs employees working here, which I just thought was lovely 👍

May not be the biggest or most varied farm, but such a lovely one, and the best sausage barm I've ever had! Our little boy loves running round both the farm and the little wooded area, well laid out (seems to have an overspill car park a bit further down, and staff are friendly.

Went to the cafe the tables were dirty sticky filthy place understand they need a cook but they think just by spraying the table with spray cleans them a good hot water and cloth and soap will help

Yeah it was good. I really enjoyed it. You can feed the chickens and the goats and stuff and it's great for the kids. It's only 50p for a bag of chicken and goat food from the shop and only £3 entry for adults. They've got horse riding and some other activities for the kids but we couldn't do that coz our daughters only 4 months old haha! 🙂

Had a lovely day with the grandchildren , really nice to see and feed animals and girls loved the play area, overspill carpark much better to park main area dangerous with selfish lazy drivers not wanting to walk two minutes, the cafe and staff lovely only thing your child plates are to small piled with food putting kids off , noticed a lot of children's meals left ,but otherwise adult food nice .

Worst place I've had the misfortune of visiting! My meal had a long black hair in it when served (I'm blond), my hot chocolate had no taste and was like dirty dish water! The small dining hall was swarming with wasps, we were constantly attacked by 6 flying around and had to leave our food in the end as I'm allergic to them yet doors and windows were open with clearly a wasps nest and no help from staff just attitude when I sent my food then drink back! There's barely nothing there to see and staff were so rude and complained they were busy when I complained to them yet no hair nets worn in the kitchen! This was the worst day of my life and we were with a disabled young person ... no consideration was given to her either and the wasps kept flying around her and wouldn't leave us alone. Parking was awful and you got smacked with the toilet door when someone opened it or when you washed your hands it was that tiny and over crowded in there ...no social distancing at all anywhere in there. I would highly recommend this place be avoided at all costs and would of gave 0 stars if that were an option! Absolutely 💯 awful place !!

We last visited here on Saturday 14th Aug. We have visited multiple times previously. Always greeted with a smile by the staff at the kiosk and all the other staff are just as lovely too. Animals are wonderful. Kids love being able to feed them and pet them. Entry price is more than reasonable. We, a family of 4, pay only £10 all together. Animal feed, again, more than reasonably priced at 50p a bag! Always a lovely day. Would definitely recommend.

Resonably priced admission fee. Plenty of animals to see and feed, good play area for the kids to play with plenty of picnic benches. The tea room offers sandwiches, cakes and you can even buy plants and flowers for your garden. It's a good way to spend a couple of hours.

Fantastic cheap morning or afternoon out. Only an couple of pounds to get in. There’s a petting corner and you can buy feed for the chickens, sheep and goats. A little park and cafe to keep everyone entertained plus you by their own meat in the shop along with plants that are also grown on the farm. I have been bringing my children here for many years and now I get to do it all again with my grandson but this place is great to visit with or without children
