The best pet shop in the wirral

It is incredible. The people who own it are wonderful and I go there every day to see the new animals they get. (Update) the animals here are kept well and are very friendly. Certain animals can be picked up by people (with permission) and the animals are always happy to greet you due to inheriting their warming ways from their lovely owners. This family business (not a chain) has been around for as long as I can remember; I have seen animals come and go but they have always left happy and healthy. -eden x

Got a hamster the staff are the best

Great local pet shop, very friendly and knowledgeable. Bought a lovely little Russian dwarf hamster from here, was in good condition and very friendly, looked like he had been well looked after there.

This is the best independent pet shop on the Wirral. Never ever had any problems! The staff are always brilliant and super friendly! Nothing is ever too much bother and they are fantastic with kids too! Can't understand bad reviews, perhaps they had wrong pet shop! Thank you for everything you guys do!

Phoned to ask if they had hay in stock. The lady on the phone was so lovely and friendly. Visited later that day and was very pleased with my experience. Plenty of stock and really friendly staff. Open 7 days a week too which is a massive bonus

Bought a rabbit in July the staff are the nicest ! We love our rabbit we searched for a long time and most pet shops I didn't think looked fit to even sell an animal our wee rabbit from here is beautiful and friendly

Put our hampster in the store for the owners who had 'good reviews' to look after which cost us £50 Went on holiday on the 5th of Jan got back on Monday 20th went to collect her and she was still at the back of the store behind a wall in the dark. Bedding and food hadn't been changed nore had the water drip gone down for over 2 Weeks. She was so skinny n tired.and we were told that we would be updated on how she was . We received 1 picture at the start on the 10th.that was all. When we took her out the shop we noticed she had a bleeding wet tail so immediately took her to the vets and they told us she has a serious gastrointestinal infection and even with the meds she is still 50/50 . Absolutely devastated. Clearly they don't no about hampsters needs. Not a paradise at all.

A very nice establishment - very clean & well organised. The staff are very helpful, & went out of their way to organise receipt of items that were not readily available - delivery included 😀

Whilst briefly visiting family i popped in to get my dog a treat ..she was welcomed and allowed to see the rabbits and piggies that she loves which i thought was lovely but i was so concerned and worried about the hampsters and fish ..the coldwater fish were just swimming in a completley bare tank no gravel ,ornaments or plants and the tropical had gravel only ...the poor hampsters were in tiny little tanks with just woodshavings and empty bowls (although they had probably buried their food)..no chew toys or wheels so no stimulation whatsoever ..it just didnt sit right with me ..and although i work for a major pet store i havent been doing so for long ..i have always been passionate about hampsters and they are not being housed appropiatley as are the fish😢😢

Very helpful met with are needs and did a home dilivery as we can’t get out and you can pay by card would highly recommend to eny one in the area for pet supplies
