😠 Seemed like plenty of stuff to see initially, but we found it really difficult to browse comfortably as this smelly guy in a green hat followed my daughter round the whole time trying to make conversation. First assumed he was homeless, but after 20mins got the impression he actually runs the place!... People often mention visit, shop, time, items, staff, Liverpool, plenty, helpful, interesting,

Seemed like plenty of stuff to see initially, but we found it really difficult to browse comfortably as this smelly guy in a green hat followed my daughter round the whole time trying to make conversation. First assumed he was homeless, but after 20mins got the impression he actually runs the place!? Ended up bailing, skipping lunch to rush home and grab showers 🤢 Hope the response is honest as he was going on about the various traders, offered discount and had a fresh brew on the go.. Sounded American so easy to spot, wary of returning if he’s associated. Was a really grim experience and frustrating as we went especially to find something to celebrate her GCSEs, could have lost hours in there otherwise

Good sized warehouse with plenty of stock. Friendly staff on hand as well Sadly they didn't have anything that I was looking for but I'm certainly glad I paid a visit and will return. Only gripe is parking was a bit of a mare. Following the response from the owner, let me explain. The car park is quite small. Most of the 20 spaces were occupied by taxis, antique cars or what looked like scrap. I found 1.5 spaces available that were difficult to get into due to a couple of vans in the way and the way other vehicles were parked. One star removed for for snarky comment. Actually, make that 2. And another for the owners obviously s###y attitude

Have been a fair few times now when visiting Liverpool, most recently last week, and I cannot understand how the other traders tolerate the American man who seems to live there. You might be better off going to Tunnel Antiques, there is less choice, however its far less hassle, in a safer area and has a much more welcoming atmosphere.

The man at the front is very rude I was spoken to disgustingly, bizarre way to greet customers will never return. Avoid. Car park was full of broken glass, and vehicles in every direction blocking access and spaces. Be careful of your tyres and mirrors.

Lots of good items but it was all a bit over priced. If it was covered in cobwebs and dust you may feel better about handing 250 for an ornament or painting, but to me it just looked like reuse centre. If it was more reasonably priced though we would have bought quite a lot tbh. Cool place to look around nevertheless.

Went on Sunday 28th August. Had read all the reviews, but wanted to make my own decision. It's a very nice place, things are arranged quite well, everyone where pleasant and helpful. Items where reasonable priced, but managed to haggle on an item I was after. I think sometimes people are expecting things for nothing, which is an insult to the owners. So make a reasonable offer and it's more likely to be accepted. There is a carpark at the back, didn't see any broken glass on floor ( one of the reviews) it is shared with a taxi garage btw, but there is plenty of parking available in the side streets. It's a big place and I only managed to get around about a quarter of it for the amount of time I could allow. Will be definitely returning to explore further. Actually bought 2 items btw.

Nice place lots to see but when you get to the till they change the price. Picked something up for £10.00 which it said on the label (old scruffy label so obviously not change by anyone)but when you get to the till they said it was £80.00. Would not visit again as waste of petrol if price changes to suit them.

AMAZING experience with Claire a Bella. I can’t believe I’ve lived in Liverpool for almost 8 years and never knew about this place! I bought a stunning Victorian light from Phil and his wife at Claire a Bella (based in the Liverpool Antique Centre by the leather panther in the front window) and they were brilliant. I had a few questions about the light and Phil was so helpful and gave me a bit of the history of the light, he’d even offered to deliver it to my home which I thought was very kind of him. I’ve since also purchased a display/side table from him and his wife which they did deliver for me on that occasion and I’d 100% purchase from them again. Super friendly, lovely people with some beautiful, unique antiques up for grabs.

Went to Cult records within this shop, but was really disappointed. No organisation, poor presentation, piles of vinyl being damaged by poor storage, and after finding something I wanted really stupid pricing. Better options nearby ..

This place is huge! There's trinkets and collectables everywhere! Entrance via the rear of the building where they have a small visitor car park. Also, the staff are so lovely!

Magical place to go to it's really an Aladdin's cave, you need to have your eyes everywhere. Well worth a visit. The furniture is gorgeous, the old wardrobes, chairs, mirrors, lights, jewelry, it's all lovely.

Very interesting place to walk around and see all the stuff they have, loads and loads and loads of stuff, much of it is fascinating and random as you walk from room to room and up the stairs - it's incredible that people have spent time making, buying, keeping and coveting all these things - and they ended up here! The prosthetic prostate-examination bottoms on the upper floor mildly traumatized me, the huge marble pyramids had me in awe, and the old maps of Liverpool were so interesting. Great place to visit, and staff are really friendly and helpful.

Don't be fooled by the photos and reviews. They must be writing them themselves. A big place full of total rubbish. About as scruffy and unwelcoming as it's possible to get. Can't say anything about the staff since they completely ignored us!!

**A Treasure Trove of Antiques: A Review** Last weekend, I stumbled upon a remarkable antique shop that left an indelible impression. This shop is a haven for anyone with a penchant for history and a love for timeless pieces. Upon entering, I was greeted by an astonishing variety of items, each with its own story and charm. The shop houses everything from exquisite furniture and ornate mirrors to vintage jewelry and rare collectibles. It's a place where the past meets the present, offering a delightful journey through different eras and styles. One of the most impressive aspects of this shop is its ability to cater to all budgets. Whether you're a seasoned collector or a casual browser, there's something for everyone. The range of products is thoughtfully curated, ensuring quality without compromising on affordability. What truly sets this shop apart is the experience of exploring it. You could easily spend hours meandering through its aisles, uncovering hidden gems and marveling at the craftsmanship of bygone times. Each visit feels like a new adventure, with countless treasures waiting to be discovered. The staff deserves a special mention for their knowledge and passion. They are not just salespeople; they are custodians of history, eager to share stories and insights about their collection. In conclusion, this antique shop is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates history, art, and the beauty of antiques. It's more than a shop; it's a portal to the past, offering a unique and unforgettable experience!

We visited today and had a great time. Everything is reasonably priced and the staff are friendly and helpful. My wife is in a wheelchair and they took the time make sure all the pathways were clear for us to pass through easily. We Really appreciated that. We'll visit again next time we're in Liverpool. Thanks. .

Little overpriced I thought but fun place to spend a lazy Sunday. Bring a coat it's freezing in there!

  • 1/5 Chris O. 2 years ago on Google
Man at the front was rude and obnoxious. When we found a record we wanted to buy he claimed the price sticker was the price HE paid for the record, and the cost to me was double! Man charges what he wants, and the stickers are irrelevant. Avoid at all costs!!
