Please note that on entry you may doubt that you are at the right place: it has a very strange entrance but definitely worth it once you get there! So many informative, educated and extremely friendly members of staff with an excellent system: Once you arrive you can pick out what plants you like from a range of different cards with lots of information about them on them, the staff will then recommend swaps or give you tips, then go and pick out whatever you chose from the thousands of plants they have! Would recommend to anyone who is working on a garden pond: they'll have exactly what you want all year round.

I'd give 10 stars if I could! Absolutely amazing place! David was so friendly and generous with his time and expertise (which is considerable!). I was able to get all the plants I had wanted, and received lots of excellent advice about my wildlife pond. The nursery grows a huge variety of plants, much more than are available at even a specialist water garden centre, and the plants are all strong and healthy. The plants are much higher quality than you get at a garden centre, and much better value too. If you want lilies, there is a whole polytunnel containing just part of their collection, all looking beautiful. It was an absolute pleasure to visit, and I would definitely recommend making the journey.

It was a little tricky to find, but once we there we were amazed by the place. The selection of plants was unbelievable. The staff were so knowledgeable and passionate. They helped us every step of our way, even though we had quite a modest requirement.

Fantastic service, well worth the effort ! Huge selection of plants. Arrived not really sure of what would work best, for our pond. Knowledgeable staff guided us through our options, left as happy informed customers.

Had to review this place as it and the staff are that fantastic and knowledgeable. First off all when you turn in the road you will think the place is not there but don't turn around keep going through the new houses and down the track and you will come too this unbelievable place david took me around telling me which of the thousands of plants would work best and what wouldn't for my nautral pond and my raised pond. The plants are really well price. If out too cheap in my opinion and when do you ever say that at a garden centre 😀. Honestly could come here just to pass time and help the guys out too be paid in knowledge. I travelled 35 miles from darwen and would not go anywhere else now thank you guys so much.

We received so much useful advice on setting up our native wildlife pond. We bought the plants suggested for the size of our pond. Less than 2 months later it is crystal clear with newts and developing tadpoles. Cannot fault the advice and obvious commitment. Many thanks.

I called in last week only bought 4 plants but they were extremely helpful, everything positive you read in the other reviews here is true. Going back today to buy some more plants, can't recommend this company highly enough.

If you live in the North West and need pond plants forget the garden centres… this place is definitely worth a visit. Tucked away down an old lane behind a housing estate this is an Aladdin’s cave. We found and spoke to David on a quiet Sunday morning who was so helpful (and extremely knowledgeable) with our requirements for a newly built small wildlife pond. The choice of plants will blow your mind and are very reasonably priced. We plan to return in the summer months to check out the water lilies when in flower and Hosta’s as there are plenty to go at! Thank you again David.

Cant express how helpful Mark is and the customer service being absolutely 200%. I've visited a few times now, and the knowledge this man has is second to none. The plants are A1 quality. Cannot fault this place.
