Willing Workers Community Club Park

Tourist attraction Park

👍 I was expecting more of a playground for this newly renovated park, but overall, it's nice. It has a basketball court and a walking path. Nice and clean. It has a 911 button that you can press in case of an emergency. I would go back. People often mention park, playground, nice, basketball,

A super cute little park! The small playground is perfect for toddlers and young children and there is a lot of grassy area to play. The equipment all appears to have been recently updated (and it seems that part of that update included removing swings). There is also a basketball court with three hoops, at least three picnic tables, two benches, and a few trash cans. The one down side is that there isn't a clear path from the parking lot to the playground so it is not accessible to those with disabilities. It is also not shaded so make sure you bring sunblock in the summertime! Overall, a nice place to bring your kids if you're near downtown Douglasville!

The revamp is much needed. The basketball courts are polished and roomie but should be 4 hoops minimum, not 2. There are no outside outlets if you have a phone with low battery, an ebike, or even a charge station for electric cars. They could have filled the ditch that has water in it with dirt and had that space for picnics, football, or whatever else. It’s ugly really. The trail isn’t a trail. It’s a small little loop around in the woods. Hopefully, they expand on this. You’re really just walking a tiny sidewalk around the park… The playground for kids is nothing at all. I see kids get bored extremely fast. It’s nothing to do! It’s not even fun looking or suitable for summer activities. There are camera everywhere cause these old folks nosy. They are right in your face and could cause anxiety in people even though they aren’t doing wrong. Douglasville is cop city so it makes sense. Cameras finna be everywhere that we the people do not want at all. All around, I love the new clean look of the park but it still needs a lot more amenities.

Great park! Just needs lights for the basketball court when the sun sets.

Basketball goals, lots of room for soccer or football, and plenty of playground stuff for the kids.

Nice and clean park with a very light playground, bathrooms, pavilion and full basketball court. The park has a cement side walk for a nice walk to clear your mind and a small wooded loop with cameras and emergency buttons. The park is very simple but very clean and safe, in a residential neighborhood. They could’ve done anything with this land area, and I’m so grateful they saw fit to provide the existing community (not pushing anyone out or moving anyone in) with a place of leisure and rest. Need a quick break? Come take a walk or shoot some hoops. I rated 4 because the playground is a little light on the things to do for kiddos.

This park is just beautiful, equipped for family events and community fun, basketball courts, bathrooms, clean covered sitting areas. I hope I get a chance for another event at the Park.
