My partner and I just moved to the area and decided to stop in this morning for breakfast and coffee. We both got egg & cheese biscuits - I added Turkey sausage to mine. Oh my goodness this biscuit was so delicious and flakey and buttery 🤤. We also both agreed that the eggs were cooked to perfection. It wasn’t crowded - but there was a steady flow of people coming in to either place to go orders or picking up orders. The atmosphere is eclectic and we sat at the swing seats in front of the bar. I’m so glad we did, it gave us the opportunity to chat with Linda who was taking orders and working at the bar and she was really nice and welcomed us to the neighborhood. Will definitely be back!

This is an awesome black owned, breakfast spot just outside of Atlanta. The food was delicious, the quality and quantity was good for the price. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Also had to get a gallon of the basil lemonade to try with my family and everybody loved it. I added some honey Jack Daniels and it was absolutely amazing. We will be visiting frequently, I highly recommend.

Met a friend on a Friday morning during holidays for coffee and a bite. Such a great vibe with the swings (be careful with those) and the owner was so friendly and kind. A walk through Eastview Cemetery and over to East Lake Golf Club gives a sense of Atlantas deep history. I’ll def be back

My husband was searching for a new breakfast spot and came upon this one located on the Kirkwood/Eastlake side of Memorial. At first we were going to place an UberEats order but like others, it was gonna take at least an hour for delivery so we decided on picking it up. When we got there, it was this adorable, adequately spaced coffee shop playing the late and the greatest of R&B artists over the player. We were greeted with a “good morning” as we placed our order and asked to wait but while we were waiting, my husband and I were screening the subtle decor, how welcoming it was and how we only wish to run place just like it…..the young lady behind the counter offered us their signature basil lemonade. A drink by chance, is what they are known for. Absolutely breathtaking in my opinion, so breathtaking that the next couple they offered it to also thought the same. Like who would’ve thought, fresh basil and lemonade; a refreshing and healthy to say the least beverage. The food was just as amazing and filling. It’s always the good places that are only open half the week but maybe that’s one of the keys to running a successful small business of not burning out the small crew you hired by being open 24/7. Who knows? What I do know is that this small black owned business is definitely worth the try!

I found this place by accident and I am sooooooo glad I did! The food is delicious… but what I appreciated the most was the superb customer service. The young lady that took my order was so welcoming and patient… she even recommended a few things since this was my first visit…It seems like a sweet secret gem… well the secret is out!!!!!!… you have to give this place a try…. I know I will definitely come back!!

There’s nothing worse than ordering and receiving it in a different order than it was placed . There’s no reason why somebody who walked in 30 minutes after me should be receiving their food well before me, the food was disgusting I wasn’t offered any water there was no table service little to no vegetarian options. My omelette was very skimpy and barely had any vegetables in it. It was very salty. I wasted $20 on a horrible breakfast and a horrible experience.would never recommend or return

Low budget seating, small portions and large prices. A glass of lemonade is $7.00. You stand in line to pay before you order and are promoted to add a tip before your food comes out. Caution where you sit because the upholstery is in dire need of repair. We will never return.

I have driven by this place multiple times and decided to try it. The food was pretty good. The waffles were so fluffy and pretty big. The fish was very good. It was fried Tilapia and I would've preferred grilled but either way it was delicious! The grits were very good as well. Not too clumpy and seasoned right. I suggest you come here as well. Break fast or Brunch.

I really wanted to love this place but the consistent bad service just doesn’t sit well with me. I love the concept and atmosphere of the restaurant but the customer service is poor and they never seem to get my order right. Please do better with listening to your customers instead of catching an attitude when you incorrectly make a dish that is on your menu.

The staff was friendly which was a plus. I had very high hopes for this restaurant, I was thinking this food is about to be so good because it looks like somebody grandma cooked this. The food was so disgusting. I order salmon patty, grits, eggs with cheese, hash brown, pancake, $25 worth of food and all of it was nasty. It had no flavor to it or anything. I was very disappointed and it was very much a waste of money. I would not recommend.

Wow!!!! I am usually very critical of food spots because it is very easy to come across overpriced bad food but this is not the case at My Coffee Shop at Eastlake. The food is amazing, definitely made with love and it shows. I did spend 18$ but it was worth every single penny, the portion was decent but definitely very filling, I’m an egg love so I wish it was just a bit more and i did only get 3 pieces of bacon BUT the quality of the food definitely made up for the quantity. I would recommend it to anyone in the neighborhood or visiting from out of town. The inside vibe is very peaceful, loving and light. You choose your own coffee mug and enjoy every last bit of your food. I would also recommend calling in to order beforehand just because since they do make everything fresh it takes a while to come out. After a long week of work I am impressed and pleased with this breakfast/lunch spot 😁 very nice people too!!

Their lemonade is special. I enjoyed the fried fish and eggs. Fluffy and tasty biscuit. Grits were cooked just right but the hash browns were drenched in way too much butter\oil. Wait can be a bit long so come early or have spare time. It's worth checking out and coming back

The staff was very friendly and attentive. They were my favorite part of the experience. The parking lot was fairly empty when we arrived but was full by the time we left around 11:30. This was on Saturday. The place has a nice neighborhood vibe. The food was hot and homey but nothing stood out to me in terms of flavor or preparation.

I LOVE this local owned restaurant! My Coffee Shop at Eastlake is a not so hidden - hidden Treasure in the Eastlake community. I've lived in the area for 3 years and never knew it existed until just recently (mind you I've driven by this restaurant millions of times). I first visited the restaurant a few weeks back after morning car pool after a quick google search. Upon arrival I was greeted with smooth oldie jams playing lightly throughout the front door. Upon entering I notice the restaurant was very open and had a cool décor including swings at the counter. I ordered a Chai Latte (my fave) and the Pancake breakfast complete with a smoked turkey sausage link and cheese eggs to go. I noticed the delicious cakes displayed on the counter but decided to hold out for another day. The pancakes where so good you can literally eat them without syrup, the flavor is naturally sweet. Breakfast was yummy. The customer service was so great and the Restaurant is black owned by a mother and daughter duo who are the epitome of southern hospitality (so welcoming and warm). I told them before leaving I would bring my family the next morning for breakfast. The next day my family and I went to the restaurant to eat. Ordering the Catfish and grits breakfast for my husband and a homemade Chicken biscuit with fried egg cheese and sausage gravy for myself, our girls had French toast sausage and eggs. Hot chocolate, OJ, and Chai Tea where our drinks of choice. This is one of our new favorite restaurants we will frequent often. It's kid friendly and always check google for their hours, they operate on a non traditional schedule.

Love everything about it. The people run this place are gracious, professional, and very pleasant. The food is tremendous. Go for a bacon egg and cheese croissant, grab a book because you may end up wanting to stay for lunch. The red velvet cake is better than my Sweet Mama’s (Forgive me, Sweetmama). All their cakes are clearly homemade- no BS. Seriously, get the frozen basil lemonade, and do so ASAP, if not sooner. If you don’t know about this place, do yourself a favor and ask somebody. 11/10. I will be a happy customer until the day I die. May God protect these angels. ❤️

Wonderful affordable local coffee and breakfast spot in East Lake! I went by once to get a sausage egg biscuit and it was so tasty (came with jelly and all the fixins'). I'll definitely stop by if I'm in the area, the service was very quick, straightforward and friendly. Also can't beat the prices. Better than your local Starbucks!

This is one of my favorite breakfast places. Affordable prices, fun, easygoing atmosphere. It’s cute that you can choose your own mug.

I absolutely love my coffee shop. I go there about once a week. The entire staff Treat you like family. The food is so good. I normally get the banana nut French toast. Which is out of this world! The basil lemonade is lovely. I also enjoy the Arnold Palmer. If I could give this place a 100 stars, I would. The owner is amazing and so sweet try it out you will love it

This spot has absolutely got to be a local favorite. Any time I'm in Atlanta I will make it a point to come back. Not only was everyone super accommodating (they insisted to arrange the outdoor table to seat us and our pups), but the hospitality shown here was above and beyond. And the food! The food matches the wonderful welcome we felt. Everything was absolutely delicious, greatly priced, and even the latte was absolutely on point. We saw a lot of locals swing by to pick up an order, a surely great sign. Absolutely loved this place and will be back! You can't miss this little gem.

Love this place. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. They are always busy and the service can be slow at times but it’s because your waiting for a meal that won’t disappoint you! It’s worth the wait! The place is a staple in the community and they’ve won several awards 🏆I definitely recommend you give this gem a try ✅✊🏻 food is 🔥

So much more than a coffee shop! I would have come hungry had I known they had such an extensive menu - looked like mostly breakfast items. The coffee was good, plenty of parking, and a good amount of indoor seating. This time I just got coffee, next time I'll get some food!

I love the food. I go weekly for my sausage, egg & cheese on croissant with hash browns and the basil lemonade is AMAZING! Ms. Linda and her daughter are so sweet! They take great care of all of their customers.

I want to love this place more than I do. The vibe is great, the basil lemonade is amazing. I didn’t love the chicken salad (too heavy on the sweet pickles) but their biscuits are great. I would say their breakfast plates are the best option!

Great Breakfast enjoyed vegetable omelet. Also the American Breakfast special with pancake is a winner. As the name implies great authentic coffee

Excellent customer service!! The owner is very nice!! The establishment is very clean. The restroom was out of order today though, so for those wanting to dine in, this might be a challenge for those personal needs! It's best to order carry out and dine some where else because they are probably getting the restroom issue resolved as I type this. I ordered basil lemonade, fish n grits with fried eggs. You can also make your own breakfast with the a la carte items on the menu. There is coffee that I have not tried yet but I plan to later!! There also vegan options but not many!! I will be back Saturday! You can call ahead for carry-out orders and a large party!! Happy eating!!

We’re new to the neighborhood, and really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately the service here leaves a lot to be desired. We waited over an hour for a pair of omelettes, and had to watch while people that had gotten here 15-20 minutes after us both got their food, ate, and left before we even got our food. When I asked for the status of our food about 40 minutes in, it was clear they hadn’t even started making ours yet, as they told me “just put it on the grill” The ambiance and overall environment were great, but we came away thinking they may give preferential treatment to regulars here, so if you do go I’d just say to prepare to wait for far longer than you expect if you’re not already a regular. Such a shame. They also got our order wrong when they finally delivered it, but at that point we were just ready to leave. Not sure we’ll give this place another chance, but my only advice to the owners would be to make sure to provide adequate service to all guests, so that you don’t keep certain guests waiting over an hour for their food.
