Appointment scheduling went well, although my credit card was charged before my appointment and no one informed me that would happen. The provider did not face the camera but was looking at the screen the entire time. Was not inviting nor did she smile once. Seem like she was just writing down information but disengaged. Other than that the visit was fine. I’m not sure why I wasn’t informed up front that I would have to pay $150 for testing. So now I paid $60 copayment and now have to pay $150 and I am still not being treated. This was more like a therapy session. Patients need to know in advance to make better decisions. There was no transparency here. Just seems like they just all want to make money and don’t truly care about people. I just felt like a number.

Ever since this site was acquired by Life Stance it has gone way downhill. I just got a bill for $2500 for 6 visits. That's insanity. They are charging $365 per session as an in-network cost. I also had 8 additional charges of $30 each for those 5 sessions and they can't tell me what they are for. I waited for 30 minutes on hold with the billing department and they are a hot mess. The counselor is good. The business itself is run by thieves.

All I needed was for my prescription to be transferred to another pharmacy and it’s taking more than 3 days. I sent messages to the physician, called the practice all three of those days, had to have the manager call me, but still no call or response. The front desk just says that’s all they can do is let the doctor know;however this is highly unprofessional for the doctor to not respond for more than 3 days.

I have a great experience with life stance health every time I have an appointment. I have seen different providers but I mainly see Lakia Davis and she is phenomenal to work with. I would recommend life stance health to absolutely anybody and have recommended it to many people already! I am very grateful for the service that they provide and the help I have received there.

Nonexistent customer service! It's impossible to get a hold of anyone on the phone and it's impossible to get billing to refund a credit of any kind. Dr. Kessen is wonderful, but the management of this practice is making me consider to go somewhere else.

Ms. Williams was very nice but the communication with lifestance is very poor and getting them to send prescriptions is a multi day process. Also note you can’t call any of the offices. They use a call center that’s constantly backed up

Never never never use this practice. They are so fraudulent. I am in the process of filing a legal complaint with the state. I was told over a year ago one cost of out of pocket treatment. We went to several appointments and paid that amount without any issue. I then got a bill 6 months later for a bill 4 TIMES that amount. I have been fighting ever since, and no one EVER gets back to you. I sit on hold for hours. I work all day, how the heck am I supposed to sit on hold and wait. Oh, don't use their "convenient feature" to be called back, they won't call back. There is a law about transparency in billing. This is straight up FRAUD. They keep saying that they are looking into it. Here we are at a year. I am tired of waiting. I am reporting them to the state. Done! I am also contacting a lawyer for a Cease and Desist. I don't owe you, I am not going to pay you, leave me alone and stop trying to rip people off!!! Do not go here, there are honest and better doctors out there.

In my journey for better mental health, NP Davis has been a huge influence. I appreciate her so much. There can be better days when you communicate with someone willing to listen.

Been a patient for about 6 months now and i have to say I have had zero problems or complications with there service. Very professional scheduling process and well rounded therapist which allowed me to not only get the help when i needed it but to also have a knowledgeable and understanding therapist.

Every step was communicated well, which is so valuable to me. The repetitive reminders for my appointments were great and much needed since they were booked out pretty far. Everyone I interacted with was great, kind, and professional.

The providers, doctors and therapists all the way down to the office staff have been highly professional and courteous. Their technology platforms and patient portal are user friendly and functional! As a new patient, I do recommend LifeStance Health.

Had my 1st appt with Jacqueline Williams at the Alpharetta office. It went well. Needed a new opinion and understanding. The future is in the hands of the Holy Spirit.

Haven't even had first appointment. Am sick and have been around someone with COVID. Appointment is tomorrow - today is Monday. Was told by receptionist that it would cost 100.00 to cancel since no 48 hour notice! How do you give 48 hour notice you will be sick? I will NOT RESCHEDULE. This told me all I need to know about this office! If I could, I would give zero stars!

A wonderful first meeting with a therapist. Even though we met through zoom, I felt she was very much present. She listened carefully and described her therapy method would be able to help me (help myself)

Was told upon arrival for my 20 minute follow up session that the self pay rate of $175 had increased to $465 with no warning and I was expected to pay that for today’s appointment. I asked the receptionist why I was not informed of this and she said “I don’t know”. I canceled the appointment because I was not going to be paying that outrageous price for a 20 minute session especially after not even being informed. I have had nothing but issues with the billing from this practice.

They never sent me my evaluation report since 2021. I have spent tens of hours on the phone with them, and I was recently told that they lost my records and would call me back. Now they are lying and saying that my summary that they keep resending me is the record, which is not true and I don't understand why they keep trying to gaslight me. I know several other people that never got their records as well from Lifestance. I was also recently in 2023 charged over $600 for a service allegedly rendered in 2021.

The process was pretty easy to go through. I loved how they always sent a text or link to access the necessary forms or information. The physicians were also very attentive to your needs and issues. I’d definitely refer anyone to use them

BEWARE- of Unacceptable Billing Practices. Google Lifestance Complaints- please read them before using this provider. The Vsee app doesn’t always connect and they will bill you $100 as a no show while you login before the appt and then wait and not receive the counseling service. This is a nationwide public company ticker symbol LFST and the stock price is below $5 they are taking peoples money without any empathy. The research analysis indicates ‘high doctor turnover rates from burnout’ , ‘costs are rising due to expenses required to replace them.’ Please google search Lifestance customer complaints. You will be thankful to avoid this place.

I got an appointment quickly, which I really needed. Saw Jackie Williams, who was kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Look forward to seeing her again and beginning therapy.

Dr. Curran was excellent. On time for telemed appointment, was willing to listen and we felt we were heard. Gave a clear timeline on the next steps in the evaluation/treatment process. It’s hard to find that in a provider these days.

Very enlightening experience with Dr Saheed. She made my daughter feel comfortable with speaking to her. She answered questions we had. She was also very patient, courteous and kind.

After finally realizing I really needed to make an appointment and waiting weeks for the appointment, they sent me a text to cancel my appointment, and told me to call and reach out to them to reschedule. It seems very unprofessional to have an appointment cancelled like that. They couldn't even be bothered to call and talk to me?

LifeStance Health has been very reliable. I am always able to call and connect with the front desk with little or no wait time. I have my questions answered directly over the phone or am immediately connected with the right person. When I have had problems with prescriptions being filled, it was resolved same day between the front desk, my psychiatrist, and the pharmacy. Also, my psychiatrist is the best I have ever seen. I am actually heard when I say something isn't working. In the past, my doctors have told me to just be patient and stick with it. My psychiatrist at LifeStance listens to me and makes changes to my medication regiment as needed.

I was very pleased with Dr. Kessen and her assessment. I did not do well getting connected to the telehealth system but otherwise we had a very good appointment. .

Dr. Curran was so professional while also being fun for our son during our intake interview. He seemed to understand that the process was stressful on our end and took the time and effort to create thoughtful conversation that put us all at ease.

The care received was good but billing has been a nightmare. I am unsure how this got mixed up but it has been bad. Each visit I was advised they would submit to my insurance and then provide me with a bill. After two visits I got charges to my normal credit card, not my HSA (possibly an error when scheduling that maybe I gave the wrong card). I found it odd they just billed me without notice. I called them to check on this as my insurance was not even showing claims yet. When I called they advised they billed me the amount my insurance told them I would owe but did not seem to understand my concern about it not showing on my insurance website yet contributing to my deductible/out of pocket max when my last visit was over a month ago and the other one was a month prior. After some time it finally showed up on my insurance information so I considered booking another appointment but then I got an additional bill in the mail for more money. This is getting insane since they supposedly charged me what I owed. I then paid on their website and money has been taken from my HSA but I cannot get any confirmation email or anything sent confirming the bill has been paid. Never coming back here. Just reminding me of how bad our healthcare system and payments can be. For reference, each visit was $355-365 (not sure why the second one cost more), where they charged me different amounts to my credit card on both visits, then my insurance paid different amounts, and then they charged me for the remainder. Absolute disaster.

I met with Dr. Shaheed for a telehealth appointment, and she was prompt, friendly, and easy to talk to. She was already familiar with the information I provided online before our telehealth appointment (not all doctors are 🙄), and she took the time to answer my questions thoughtfully. She is an attentive and perceptive listener, and I feel comfortable with her after just one appointment. I chose her because she was available at a convenient time, but I struck gold. She is fantastic!
