Centre Stage itself is Awesome, great job guys 👍 The cafe was awful however, I have worked in the catering trade for 20+ years and iv never had such an awful experience with cakes and thats saying something! The girl behind the counter was a star and handling the pressure of doing EVERYTHING herself brilliantly so hats off to her. Hot choc for my daughter was good no issues there except the fact they put it on the wrong saucer so the glass was forever on the verge of falling over, not great for a 8 year old tbh! My tea arrived with a tiny pot and a cup with a handle so small i couldn't get 1 single finger through it, every other person had normal cups so not sure what that was about?! The worst part about my visit was the cake, I am utterly shocked by the cake! It was solid, like dried out solid rubber yuck! I literally couldn't get my fork through it and when you tapped it it had a better thud than the table. So i got up and headed to the bar with it, got stopped by a waiter and he apologised and offered me something else, I headed to the bar to see what was there and here is my cake in the fridge with no cover on it at all......who exactly is teaching these guys how to store stuff because that is a huge NONO, no wonder it was so solid sitting there drying out all day in the fridge 🤦‍♂️ So I took a peppermint slice and guess what, stale! My daughters rocky road was also stale, so much so she ate 1/4 of it and left the rest! I actually wrapped the rest up and took it for my son thinking maybe she didn't like it but even he thought it was awful so it got chucked in the bin. Not only that but I received no offer to reimburse me for the more expensive slice of cake i never got to eat either, so they charged me like £1 odd more for my stale peppermint slice than its actual price. Poor show 👎 100% will not be returning to such sub par offerings which is a shame as it looked like a very promising cafe.

I’m the mum of a just turned 8 year old boy. Since he sings, dances and generally performs around the house constantly we decided it was time to channel some of this energy. This sort of thing is way outside my comfort zone, so after researching our options, we decided to try Centrestage. Dylan decided to take a class in Musical Theatre and after combing their very attractive and informative web site the date of his 1st class was decided. 1st things 1st, phone to boo a place on the class. A pleasant and knowledgable member of staff took the booking and gave me all of the information I needed so a good start. So it was with trepidation that I took a very nervous wee boy along to a very busy and buzzing Centrestage. Well, literally from the minute we walked in we were met with friendly, helpful staff who genuinely seemed to want us there. The process was seamless: from registration to collecting him after class. And it was very, very busy. My son love he class and has already booked his next. I loved the whole experience and want to commend the Centrestage staff. So if your child r or yourself for that matter is thinking about going I would urge you to go along. A truly positive experience. Thank you👌

How lucky we are to have this fantastic facility in our Community. The kids who attend the Music Theatre and Dance classes gain so much confidence and enjoy being part of a team pulling together to put on a professional production for the stage. Centrestage Communities Charity also deliver a vast amount of projects in the area which are funded by grants, sponsorship and donations - working with the Elderly, Special Needs, Ex Offenders, children disengaged from the education system and many more. Our Community is a much better place for having Centrestage and I am so glad my children have benefited from being members for the last 7 years.

My son takes part in the P3 musical theatre class and they put on Elf the musical last night. It was a great show and credit to the staff and the kids. The whole place has a positive effect on the local community and the cafe/bar is pretty good also. I thought this photo summed up how happy and positive Centrestage is. Well done.

Spent a wonderful afternoon at Centrestage today with my soon to be 94 year old mum. 🎤💃She thoroughly enjoyed the show. The staff were superb in welcoming us in and showing us to our seats. I cannot wait to attend another show. The cast were excellent and I even had a wee tear in my eye during some of the songs. The newly reformed venue is just what Kilmarnock needs. 10 out of 10 👌. Onwards and upwards 😁

The kids love the singing and dancing classes. The cafe is a bit of a letdown as the service is so slow you might not get a coffee in the hour your waiting for the class to finish.
