Memorial day was pretty slow, ( we didn't mind a smaller group) for the 1pm tour on the paddle boat. Beautiful weather and lovely ride. Very enjoyable, friendly staff, and breathtaking views of the St Croix

So i made this post under another company a few weeks backand just realized that today. Oops!. Deleted! I wanted to go on an old- fashioned paddle boat and we got on one in taylor falls. The river was beautiful and calm, the weather was just perfect after a day of storms and rain. We went on a narrated tour and later on a twilight cruise. The later one had live music and wine tasting. People were dancing and having fun and on a first one we heard a history and took lots of pictures and an ok pulled pork meal. Really enjoyed both and the crew was really nice! If you buy tickets online you save.

We had a great time on a 90 minute boat tour on the St Croix river. The views were gorgeous and it was fun to see all the people out enjoying the river. The tour guides provided some nice history of the area. There was also a small snack bar downstairs where you could get some alcoholic drinks along with water, chips, candy, and other small packaged snacks. Sitting upstairs provided nice views but no shade so it did get pretty hot. We moved downstairs to get some shade and it was much cooler although we couldn’t take in the views of the river as well.

We had a wonderful time during the 80-minute sunset boat ride. It was peaceful, relaxing, the crew was friendly, and the tour was interesting and amusing. It’s a great way to appreciate nature, take some nice photographs, and observe a plethora of birds. I highly recommend going!

We arrived 15 mins early and there were lots of people there already. We all were going to look at the trees turning,It was wonderful. I wish the trees were brighter but the knowledgeable crew made up for that! What a wonderful day.

We took one of the fall color cruises and absolutely loved it! Our cruise was on a quite cool day and we had to duck downstairs for a few minutes to warm up, but the views from the open upper deck are spectacular. Excellent tour guides and explaining the various river features. Definitely something we want to do again.

Fantastic boat tour! Staff was very accommodating to my dad who was in a wheelchair from car to boat and back again, greeting us and serving food and drinks. Great information given about the history, river and rock formations. Beautiful fall day! Its a great trip for all ages.

Had friends from out of town and we were trying to brainstorm about what we should go do in nature while being able to chat and capture some beautiful pictures. So glad we ended up here, it was easy to get tickets and well worth the price. I would actually go on the tour again especially in the early part of summer because I'm sure the views will have different colors to take in. You can hear the tour guide even towards the back of the boat and they provide a good presentation. Everything looked clean and the seats were comfortable. I think kids of all ages from young to old will enjoy a trip along the falls

Tolle Tour gehabt. War alles sehr schön. Wetter, der Tourguide hat nette Info's gegeben und auch nette Anekdoten aus der langjährigen Firmengeschichte erzählt. Immer wieder gern

Tour is supposed to be 80 min, however got short to 45 min because of water level. It is $27 tour and if you like full your sdk about how far boat will go. Dells are pretty short and after just wide open water.

Had a wonderful time on Taylor's Falls Scenic Boat Sunset Tour. Easy to location to find, easy to buy ticket ahead of time and check in. Beverages and snacks are available to buy after departure, or you can buy from their store before departure pizza and more options. The tour guide was so much fun to teach us the history with some fun k knowledge also. We saw a lot of wildlife ranging from eagles, ducks, and other birds to a beaver and more. Enjoy your evening here. It was well worth it!

This was a great idea, all 5 of my sisters and our 94 y/o Momma! The guy commenting was so good and very funny. He was full of information. However, I would not pay for lunch. It was a small gas station sandwich with a bag of chips and a cookie for $25 bucks. For $100, we could have had a wonderful sit-down dinner in town. Although we were disappointed with the lunch the time we spent was very precious. I'd definitely do it again!!!

It was a nice tour on the river. We did the 45 minutes tour. They were quick to respond and update us when necessary. The staff members were very nice. They allow dogs on the boat, which is a plus. I would recommend reserving your tickets before going.

We highly recommend the Taylor Falls boat tour. We saw beautiful scenery that included bald eagles. It was nice that they had a bar on board for sodas or adult beverages. You can also add a sandwich to you ride. We did, but were so busy looking around we did not eat the sandwich until we got off the boat.

We loved the views on our tour of the beautiful St Croix! We were on the 11:00 Sunday morning tour on an absolutely perfect day! There is just the right amount of commentary provided, which we found very interesting. There is plenty of seating available but we enjoyed the views while standing along the rails. Ordering tickets in advance was super easy and recommended for quick entry. There is a bit of a step driveway but a golf cart was providing rides down to the boat for those who needed them. Parking on site.

The boat tour was a neat experience. It was very busy the day we went because of it being fall and the leaves being colorful. The boat sits on a very scenic part of the St Croix River that I have never seen. There is high rocky bluffs the boat travels by. And there is some rocky rapids just to the north of where the boat docks. 200 people loaded on and off the boat very quickly. It is an open seating arrangement so if you want a window seat you need to show up early to board sooner. Once the boat leaves dock everyone gets up and moves around. It is fun to stand at the front railing and watch the river as the boat travels but be aware that people are very rude and they run up to the front railing as soon as the boat leaves the dock and they stand their for the entire time. My 8 yr old never got a chance to stand at the front rail for a picture while on the river because of the adults that never moved the whole time. 😤 There is a small snack are on board that serves beer, wine, soda, candy, and premade sandwiches. The boats are propelled by the paddle wheels. The wheels are not just for looks. We had a fun time and my 8 yr old wants to go again. We would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't so busy.

We had a great time. The tour guide was informative and great at public speaking. Our captain was fantastic, she handled the boat like an expert. 10/10, looking forward to trying some other excursions here.

We hiked the Ice Age Trail St. Croix segment with its magnificent views of the river from the Wisconsin cliffs during the day, and then took the boat tour in the evening. The tour had fast and easy check in, and the narration during the tour provided us with an interesting overview of the river's history. The views are just magical, and the staff is friendly. For those who would like a beverage during the tour, the boat has a bar on the first level. If you are in the area, this tour is must-do.

We did the short tour. It was a fun trip. The crew on the boat were excellent. Well worth our time. For those that care, the boat is actually driven by the paddles. Yeah. I am a nerd.

Cool (temperature) respite from warm and muggy conditions with all the cheesy jokes you'd expect from a tourist operation. We went about a mile downstream and turned back. Snacks and drinks available for purchase on board. Bathrooms available. We were on the 45 min tour.

We had a team outing on the river. While it wasn’t stone oven pizza, it was really good! Loved the tour, was cool in spite of warm weather, the crew was great, loved the outing!

We had a beautiful ride on the Taylor’s Falls Princess. The water level was too low to do the full tour but we certainly enjoyed what we had. The historical facts were very interesting and the staff was kind.

A nice adventure for our assisted living residents the only thing is not very senior friendly, a couple of hills that you have to go up/down. But the cruise was nice even with the water levels very low

I had a great time and enjoyed the view and informational tour. Drinks were available at the bar which made it nice to unwind and bask in conversation with friends and strangers alike.

The scenic view from the was incredible. The goal was to see some the Saint Croix Valley fall colors and it did not disappoint. Our guide shared the history of area river way. He was very entertaining.

Beautiful day to take a tour. Leaf colors were not peaked but the fresh Fall air was wonderful. The pre-paid lunch left much to be desired. I'd pass on that part next time around.

We had a great, relaxing, scenic time. Staff were great. The trip is the best kept secret in Minnesota. A lady we met from Florida loved the beautiful views.
