The Horseshoe is my favourite resturant in Listowel! The staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive! The food is fantastic and there is a varied menu offering something for everyone! The sea food chowder is something special and I would recommend! They have daily specials for roasts, chicken and fish dishes! Its also a lovely pub to call into for a drink with friends! Definitely worth the visit if you are passing through Listowel! A new outdoor dining area was constructed in 2021 which adds to the restaurants dining experience!

Amazingly delicious food, im a vegetarian but can speak for my non vegetarian friends as well.. the wild mushroom carbonara needs a special mention! The staff was prompt and took great care of a large group of 20.. highly recommended

It is a very warm feeling place, very strong to recommend to visit and taste the food if pass by

The food was amazing. I did not expect this in a pub, but i was blown away. I had turkey and ham which was done to perfection. Not only that, but I was only waiting a few minutes after I ordered. Could not get over it. I would have taken pictures but I demolished it too fast 🤣 Service was spot on also! They stay true to the reputation of the kingdom, smiles and freindly banter. A+++

Best pint of Guinness I've had in years. Food was excellent, staff were attentive and friendly. Come give them a visit and have yourself a great meal.

Stopped by here on a cycle. Prompt service, good grub and quality pint. I'm nitpicking but bike parking out front would be great

The food just is very poor. I had curry that tasted like it came from a stale can. My brother had a soup that was alright then a seafood bites that half of them missed seafood and tasted awful. The couple next to us got ice cream made in house they said was gross and grainy. At the end of it with 2 beers and charged $9 for a non-alcoholic gin and tonic it was €74 for two people. Further it took about 45 minutes to get our food. I walked away thoroughly unimpressed.

Had lovely lunch, food was excellent and well priced. Staff were so friendly even gave lollipops to our kids which is a lovely gesture. Will call again.

Wonderful place to stay, staff are excellent and very friendly, food was gorgeous too! Rooms very nice and clean as well! We will be back, five stars!

Very good food.Very tasty well prepared.Value is good and good Guinness in bar. Couldn't fault it. A good Kerry pub.
