Great restaurant and rooms. Very clean. Great views. Saw 1 hour of firework show from our windows. Not very friendly to babies. No connecting room for us although we required one. No bottled water available and no way to buy. No coffee machine in one of the rooms.

Rooms were decent, view was solid, pretty sure they hire handicap servers though. I love the fairness and equality, but they’re a real Helen Keller when it comes to productivity behind the bar.

Terrible, the rooms were old, dirty and smelled like mildew and mold. The carpets were disgusting. We checked in and couldn't even stay there, that's how bad it was, definitely do not recommend

5-Star price for a 3-Star facility. Understaffed (one 20-year old at the desk), surly waitress in restaurant, housekeeping ignored Do Not Disturb. Much of the place seems a little vacant or under construction. Nice wall hangings make the lack of other flairs more pronounced. All of the brass is badly unpolished and scratched up, making those prominent details dingy. Most of the wall plates, etc were splattered on the edges from the last sloppy paint job. The bathroom was…unsatisfactory. More motel than hotel level of clean or sharp. It all gives me the impression of absent or disinterested management, and that it’s been that way for a while. The view of the harbor was truly amazing. The walk to downtown was close-ish, but unpleasant heavy traffic crossings to get there. This place could be superior. It probably was at some point. But now it seems neglected and on a serious downhill trajectory.

It's a little confusing to get to and the parking lot is a steep hill. I attended a baby shower the staff was very friendly but a few were clumsy. The view is beautiful the lobby is also beautiful I did not stay so I am unsure of the rooms. I would visit again.

I went to a financial seminar in their ballroom, not an overnight stay. It was run like a wedding with a sit down dinner, food was delicious and service terrific. Hotel is right on the water, so the views are incredible. Sadly for me no valet parking that night & I travel with a motor scooter removed from my SUV by hydraulic lift and had to deal with it myself, would have gone smoother with a little help!

Had pre wedding dinner here. The place has a very nice atmosphere, the dinner however I was served along with my co guest didn't make the grade. Don't order steak! It was such a disappointment, meaning I could wear it as a shoe and sent it back. They we're nice people...just the second steak also missed the mark ...choice grade meat isn't going to cook like a quality prime. I expected quality not quantity

The Front Desk staff were helpful and responsive to requests. The view of the Navesink River is fantastic. The condition of the room was most disappointing. The room needs major renovations: the bathroom is antiquated with tarnished and rusted fixtures, damaged door, walls in need of repair. The bedroom furniture was marked with dings, gashes. The rug was worn. The bed was comfortable. The second housekeeper saved the experience with professional service. When we first visited the website, we (former Red Bank residents) were excited about a stay there. The actual experience was disappointing - a promise unrealized.

I love this place and it is only place in Red Bank I will stay! The rooms are adequate.... good sized and comfortable....maybe a little dated as are the smaller baths. But totally comfortable, always clean and the most awesome views. Any issues with the rooms which happen on occasion are dealt with promptly no matter what the hour of day or day of week including holidays. They have the most awesomely beautiful restaurant also with amazing views and really good food. And the staff on all levels are always warm, cordial, cheerful and helpful. I sincerely could not ask for more

My husband and I had our wedding reception here, and the folks at OP gave us incredible service the entire weekend. The complementary suite offers a lot of getting-ready room - but only for one half of the couple, if you don't want to see each other the morning of the ceremony. Our coordinator Lauren and our maitre d' Odelia did an incredible job. On the day of, they made sure my husband and I were always comfortable with hot food and a drink nearby. All this is despite the fact we were nearly maxing out the guest capacity at 200+ guests and had a ton of decorations. The food was incredible. Our guests, my partner, and I couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was, and there was more than enough to satisfy everyone. Lovely space, and we were lucky enough to have good weather so we could use the balcony at the reception, which I really enjoyed. Lauren and management were also very gracious in accommodating our silly karaoke afterparty idea. And then the breakfast service for the morning after blew us away, with a delicious spread and chefs making fresh omelets. Our only big gripe was the starting price for the hotel rooms in our block ($359 a night in the off season???) Eventually the price came down, but by then a lot of our guests had already made their travel arrangements. Overall, OP has some issues on the hotel side and may look dated, but it’s a top-notch event venue.

Make sure to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. They compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is the best rated in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you for sure won't be let down. They have a very inviting sitting area with fire place. The bar and restaurant were very busy. Water views all around and glass elevator was fun. Our room was neat and comfy. I was very pleased. I would definitely return. Close walk to downtown as well.

We had an event on the Palm room, we are very pleased with the service, the coordinator Rachel and the Maitre D; Lorena. The food was delicious! Overall everything was more what I was expecting!

I popped in for some live entertainment and a bite to eat with a drink. So I don't know what the rooms are like but I expect that they're fine. As for the live entertainment Joe use was very good the hamburger was tasty and the drinks definitely hit the spot.

Worst vacation experiences for me and my girlfriend. They double charge me, lied about it, disrespect me, laugh at me and try to play the victim when I called them out on their mistakes. It is a average hotel with a good view.

The rudest staff I’ve ever encountered. The rooms are mediocre clean and the beds are comfy. The people at the bar have so much attitude and the restaurant was widely unhelpful. We had a group of 18 people staying and eating there and we did not feel welcome at all. The guy at the restaurant hung up on me while speaking with him about our reservation. Unbelievable.

I was up sold to stay at the oyster instead or Molly pitchers, which is owned by the same parent. I Sailed down here with friends who stayed at Molly pitchers. I was turned away from the bar at Molly pitchers. Why did I pay $500 for the ‘better’ location? Room is clean. Nothing special. Dock is too shallow for a keel. Seriously regretting the decision. Would not recommend.

Riverfront rooms are an excellent view, one star deducted for sub-par front desk experiences with Jeremy. Everyone else was very accomodating and the staff were extremely kind. The rooms also seemed a little outdated but were comfortable.

The refrigerator was broken, tech came, but when we returned to the room, after 10 p.m., it was still broken. I needed it for my mom's meds. The clerk offered another room, but it can be very difficult to pack everything up and change rooms with your elderly parent. We instead used ice. This could have been a disaster. The toilet is close to the floor, very difficult getting off the toilet. Probably won't stay out recommend this place. Week call management tomorrow.

The location is super, and the hotel is one of the nicest in this area. The rooms overlooking the river has a perfect view all day long. Don't settle for the bay view unless there is no other availability. Dining in the hotel is your best choice as there is nothing near, but the quality is fair while the price is good and the portions are big. The bar is open late, which is excellent. My reason for this rating was that the Mini fridge inside my room was not working properly, and all my special meals went to the garbage. The air conditioner was very noisy too. Other than those 2 small problems, the hotel is very nice and the stuff is helpful. I hope that they take care of the room amenities and update them as this hotel has a lot of potential.

The secret gem of redbank! My house recently flooded and was forced to find temporary lodging, and along came the oyster point. Thankfully, they had 1 room left. Food spectacular views are stunning really can't ask for more!
