We used this hotel for our wedding room block in August. The experience from start to finish was seamless. It was very easy for all of my guests to book rooms, and when we requested more rooms to be added to the room block, management quickly responded. On the day of our wedding, all staff was extremely helpful to all of our guests and the staff at the hotel bar were very kind. Overall we had a great experience and the staff at the front desk were super kind. We are very happy with the experience we had with this hotel for our wedding block and would highly recommend it to any couples looking to book this hotel for a room block or anyone around in the area.

3.8 stars. Stayed May 2023. With all the construction, it’s very tough to give an accurate rating. The room was very clean, but a showed a little wear. The hallway to our room was very clean and brightly renovated. No microwave in the room, but there was a fridge. There was ample closet space with hangers. Safe in the room is nice touch. Hot water took 5 minutes to make it up to the fourth floor. Lighting in the bathroom and in the adjacent hallway isn’t so good - tough to get a good look at yourself in the mirror. Lighting in the room was generally poor. Wifi was super easy to connect to. TV worked, but two other rooms booked by family members on same floor did not. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating, despite a chaotic check in because of the construction. Breakfast staff was very attentive. No real snack ship because of the construction. Breakfast was below par - I wouldn’t even call it continental. Maybe it’ll be better over the renovations are complete. DoubleTrees are usually nice. We were disappointed that the bar and the restaurant were both closed and this surprised us because this was not mentioned online, whereas the construction was. Parking lot was a mess because of the construction. Super convenient location and close to everything; including a mall, diners, restaurants. Very easy to get to - right off the Garden State Parkway. Checkout at noon was nice.

Just got done with a wedding here. Staff was amazing especially Nemo he needs a raise. Rooms nice and clean. Everything was just about perfect except when you serve steak at a wedding and they ask for Medium or Medium Rare they all come out well done.

There was enough parking in a well lit area. Walk into a very nice and clean lobby. Get our cookies and keys, walk to the elevators, and the elevators are small, very small, old, and they smell like musty mold. Rode the elevator up to our room, opened the door to our room, the room’s air was very stale. The bathroom was very old and in rough shape. There was cracked in the tile, dirty grout around the edge of the tub.

Stayed one night to see if the hotel would be a good recommendation to our guests.. for our daughters wedding in November. We received 2 lovely clean newly remodeling rooms. The beds were comfortable.. the bathrooms were large enough. We liked the rooms styling.. colors and beverage station area. The breakfast was fine.. better than most. The hotel is being renovated .. so were unable to see the bar/restaurant area. The staff was very helpful in answering our questions.

CURRENTLY UNDERGOING NOISY RENOVATION!! If you plan on being in or working in your room during hours of 8am-5pm I recommend staying somewhere else. Was very disappointed to learn about the construction only upon arrival. Truthfully the noise wasn’t as bad as it could’ve been, but at times it was distracting and loud. We stayed in a room that appeared newly renovated and it was really nice. The staff was friendly and accommodating. If it were not for the ongoing construction this would be a five star review.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Doubletree in Tinton, NJ. You are greeted by Matthew at the front desk who is friendly and most helpful. He follows up with a text to make sure you have settled in. The rooms are spacious and clean with nice comfortable beds. There is a small restaurant with good food and excellent service. William is an excellent server for breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised about the high quality of this hotel. I dropped my reading glasses in the hall and the cleaning staff turned them into the front desk and let me know when I went looking for them.

We stayed here probably 4 or 5 times this summer. Major renovations have provided great rooms and bathrooms. Major improvement over the old ones. Staff members need retraining. I’m a diamond member who’s stayed over 50 nites in Hilton properties this year. Not once was I recognized here as diamond. Every time I checked in I had to ask for my water and cookies (cookies were cold by the way). They were never offered. Not sure if the staff is new or just needs to be trained

Hotel was recently renovated, rooms were well done standard nothing to write home about. We got in late and were hoping to just grab some food at the bar / kitchen which stated it was open til 11 but really closed at 930. Drink options were limited, no IPA's and limited selection of Bourbon. The GM was friendly and welcoming. After all renovation is complete I would think the potential is there for this to be a better experience overall.

They knew we're part of a wedding with a shuttle that was not returning til midnight and NEVER mentioned that there was going to be construction at 745am on Saturday right outside my window. We stayed here to have a safe way to return and get a good night's sleep and late checkout before having a long drive home. The noise was so bad we checked out early. Not what I expected for a 500.00 a night. Total over priced and waste of money. Took my info down and said manager would contact me . Two days later still nothing. There wasn't even a pen in the room , bottle of water or breakfast in the morning. 500.00 and basically got a bed.

The room we had, junior suite, was newly renovated and very nice. A couple of suggestions for these rooms…., adding over head lighting and a clock radio with Bluetooth access. I understand that renovations were underway and expected some inconveniences but I did not expect the inconveniences to be as bad as they were and to the extent we experienced. Here are some of the issues in your control that could have mitigated the inconveniences: Location of front desk by the elevators. This location caused chaos with people flow, checking in and out on top of regular elevator traffic. There were other areas in which the location of the front desk would have eliminated this chaos. Speaking of the elevators and adding to the chaos of the front desk location, was the closure for renovations of one of only two elevators. Closing the elevator down on a Saturday, what were you all thinking? This could have waited until after the weekend. No lobby, no bar, no restaurant was never communicated. While under renovation was indicated online, the extent was not……..no lobby, no bar, no restaurant was never mentioned. Not a hard thing to do, which if communicated would have managed expectations and at the very least allowed the customer to perhaps not book this hotel. My family and friends stayed here, around 20 rooms, and unfortunately due to the above mentioned inconveniences the overall stay was very disappointing. I’ve only listed a few of the disappointments as I know others will share more.

Hotel and rooms are nicely updated but would be nice if the room’s were functional. First room the A/C wasn’t working the room was like a sauna and had to be moved. Second room I was put in the toilet didn’t work AT ALL! Called to report and of course no maintenance was around. Was told someone from management would call me never happened. Still haven’t received a call back.

My fiance and I had a room block here for our wedding and it took place right after their renovation. Unfortunately, the renovation was behind schedule, and the lobby and hotel bar were not finished and open! throughout the process the communication was not very consistent due to the renovation and changing staff. However, Brooke and Melissa went above and beyond to find staff and accommodate my friends and family with a cash bar. This was definitely an out-of-the-box solution to our problem and we couldn't have been happier. Everyone at the Double Tree went out of their way to make sure we were happy.

We stayed at the Hilton for a funeral.  From the get go it was a bad experience.  We were supposed to have a handicap room for an 83 year old.  To get to the room you needed to take the elevator to the second floor, walk all the way down the hallway the length of the hotel, take a different elevator back to the first floor go down the hall and around a corner.  Insane for a person with walking difficulties.  We had also booked the room PLUS BREAKFAST on line through Expedia for $10-$15.  After talking to the server, then the front desk, then the manager, the hotel said they didn't do that anymore.  I said you need to update your stuff on line then to make it accurate.  The manager said they would credit our account the money and it wouldn't be an issue.  They just needed to wait for the bill to be finalized.  I went back to the desk after the bill was finalized spoke to the same front desk person and asked if I needed to hang out while they processed.  They assured me the manager would take care of it.  A week or so later we get the bill.  No credit.  So I call, talk to the gentleman at the front desk that checked us in and he said he checked with the manager, no problem....he'll take care of it.  Two weeks later it is still not done so I call back and the woman at the desk said they needed to do "research" and that the manager would call me back.  Horrible customer service for a lousy $10-$15, especially for a Hilton Gold Member.  A customer shouldn't have to follow up 4 times just to get something taken care of.  Ridiculous!

The hotel staff are the best. Check in was a breeze, welcoming and friendly. The warm cookies at reception was a nice touch. I dint know they were under renovations. was a sore sight but the staff made up for the experience. The room was clean and was very comfortable.

Stayed here this past weekend. We were attending a wedding down at pier village. The hotel was very crowded . I heard there were three weddings parties staying here. The hotel was under construction. I understand this, however they only had one elevator working. I was on the 5th floor and it took forever to get to our room with the construction as well all the customers. With the hotel being this booked maybe they shouldn’t of planned it on a weekend. We were supposed to receive a group discount. My bill was $300.00 what is a group discount? The only positive of the hotel was that the room was clean . Was very disappointed for a Hilton hotel.

This hotel was excellent with regard to location. We weren't directly on the Beach but we were so close that the 12min drive wasn't bad at all. The employees are super sweet and attentive. We received a $15 a day comp for food and beverages which was nice. The pool was small but perfect for my kids. They only got 4 stars because the rooms had a rug. I know y'all all hotels have rugs but when the rug is a color where I can't tell if it's dirty or just the pattern I become instantly GROSSED OUT! All in all, the hotel was cool!

The rooms were nice and updated.. but renovations were being done in the main lobby so the smell of paint and chemicals were really strong.. the front desk receptionist was nice and we were given a complimentary chocolate chip cookie after checking in

I was impressed! They are currently going through renovations, so some of the usual amenities are limited including breakfast. It was available, but not to the extent it usually is. We didn't hear anything and we weren't encumbered by the construction. The room faced the highway but we didn't hear it at all. Very quiet and clean room. Dylan was very nice and helpful when we checked in too. Definitely a place I would stay again.

Great hotel with private parking and an outdoor pool. Rooms, lobby and hallways very clean. Staff is courteous. The lobby maintains coffee and a tasty fruit infused water that is refreshing.

Worst experience ever at a hotel. Arrived Friday night for a weekend stay for a wedding. We were informed that the lobby bar was closed for renovations, without being told this ahead of time after booking a whole block of rooms for a wedding. When arriving, my shower did not work. Got my room switched, then my toilet didn’t work. Got my room switched again, and the shower drain was broken and just left in the middle of the tub. After being told the lobby bar was closed for renovations, it was then open the next night on Saturday. There were multiple people walking around screaming close to 2 A.M. and there was a fist fight right outside of my room. As we are checking out Sunday, it turns out someone backed into my car the night before and left a serious dent. This was a hit and run as no note was left. When I told the front desk worker, he went to the back, and said that the manager said we can not review the video, only the police can view it. I then asked if they could at least offer me a complimentary breakfast since they could not help with the hit and run. The worker went to the back again and then informed me his manager can not offer us anything. The manager could not even come out and show her face after one of their high paying customers were involved in a hit and run.

Really good, clean hotel. Even nicer than expected inside. We stayed for a wedding weekend. Front desk was really nice, and service helped secure us an early check in.

When I got to my room, I found I had (many) ants near the bathroom. I called down to the front desk and the lady said she would have someone come take care of them when they got in for the day. I knew ants are hard to get rid of so I asked for a different room, which they agreed to. When I went down to get the new room key, I asked for water and she wanted to charge me (and I’m an Honor member). Additionally, the water was shut off from 10am to 4pm two of the days I was there, which is unacceptable. There was also jackhammering happening all night long from the construction going on right outside my room. I understand this isn’t the hotels fault, but it didn’t make it an enjoyable experience.

Arrived late afternoon. Wanted something quick to eat... Matt pointed out an area that had snacks to purchase. Most of the "non-candy" food items required a the microwave but there was no microwave in the room or in the snack area. Next morning we went down for the breakfast buffet and was shocked the it was $22 a person. Asked about the free Breakfast - it was only for silver and gold members. I had found this on the AAA web site and included free breakfast.. At the end of the AAA process it didn't go through. So I called the reservation number. Agent was helpful and asked for my Honors number. So he applied some of my points to get a slightly lower rate. Anyway, after breakfast our room keys didn't work. They had checked us out - it was 10 o'clock. Matt claimed they didn't check us out (asking me for ID) I wont say that Matt was rude but any time we spoke to him from check in to check out I wondered if I was talking to a robot. On the good side the room was clean and roomy,

I have stayed at several Hilton properties and unfortunately this one is coming up short compared to all the others. The room and bathroom is dated and needs some love. As a Hilton Honors member I am still receiving the nice experience.

Comfy beds and free walnut chocolate chip cookies upon check-in. Front desk was rude when checking in and did not offer to help us with our bags to our room. Spent $445 for one night (double room- 3 guests)and expected a better experience. No microwave in the room and breakfast not included— was an additional $25.

*Diamond Review* Traveled for business.. very friendly staff and allowed for late checkout. However, it's an older hotel. Room had old furnishings.. cracked ceilings.. rusty/stained areas in bathroom... elevators very old and slow. Took the stairs often. No Diamond parking noticed.

I checked into the hotel at 11pm and when we went to the room the sheets were off the bed as if someone slept in it, the bathroom towels were on the floor, there was chip bags in the trash, the cookies were half eaten, and the room smelt of mildew and body odor. We called the front desk and they told us to "hang on and they would call us back". We waited for 5 min and called back, where they told us again just to hang on a min and they would call us back. We didn't want to wait in the disgusting room so we went to lobby, spoke to the desk attendant who was lovely but a bit overwhelmed, and she said she would have to clean the room and that we should wait in the lobby. We waited 1.5hrs from check in to getting into the room. My pregnant wife fell asleep on the couch as we waited with little information on what or how long it would take. Once we got into the room, it still stunk of mildew and body odor, but we were exhausted and they claimed there weren't any other rooms. The next morning all we were offered was breakfast vouchers and told there was no manager to speak to. At check out, the nice person at the front desk offered us 35% off the room and said the manager still wasn't available. I was not happy with 35% off, a "discount" that has still not been applied to the charge. We spent $500 for one night in this hotel and the room was not only disgusting, we had to wait 1.5 hours late at night! I tried to call the manager again today and they were not available and did not return my call. This was a terrible experience, the management is non-existent and doesn't care about guest needs. Don't stay here.

Bathroom in the room had a few little flies and I could see the grime and dirt under the sink while I used the toilet. The bathroom door also opened right into the toilet— the space was awkwardly tight. The room was basic. The staff member that did my check in was very kind and personable. They just need to work on the bathrooms and this place would be quite nice.

Bing originally from New Jersey and the location was not what I consider the best New Jersey shore. I appreciate it no animals in the rooms. I found it kind of interesting that I was charged the same for a regular room as I was later charged for a suite. The staff was great the rooms were very clean very important to me I had to meet family there and I had a business people there so sweet I was of where are used to maids in a single room with two beds

My fiancé and myself were at the Group tasting and we had the pleasure of meeting Christina. Christina was the warmest, kindest, and most helpful person there. We hope she will be working our wedding. We know she would make all of our guest welcomed.
