The park itself is great. Lots of rooms, balls if you forget to bring your own. A water dish/fountain. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because there are a lot of irresponsible owners who won't correct their dogs when they gang up/bully other dogs. There are also a few women who o see REGULARLY take their large dogs into the small dog pin and just sit on their phones while their larger dogs terrorize smaller dogs. This doesn't affect me personally because I have two larger dogs, but it's irritating to see such careless dog owners. If you aren't going to actively watch and ensure the safety of your dogs/dogs your dog interacts with, consider not coming to the dog park or not having a dog at all.

My favorite dog park. People are friendly and there are ALWAYS dogs here. I drive 40 minutes just to go to this one because it is way better than the dog parks near me. Definitely check it out.

Been going here for the past 3 years. The park is easy to find and its separated into large and small dog areas. My siberian huskies (2) love going here because there is plenty 0f space to run. There are always 10 to 15 dogs there every saturday morning and they have made lots of friends.

Kind of out of the way to find. More thought could have gone into its location and to make it a more pleasant experience for everyone. Considering how big thompson park is & how much free space there is, why put the dog park here? It’s isolated and wasn’t well populated the 3 xs we visited. It’s a decent size but not huge. My dogs were bored & don’t like it here. There are benches to sit on and a water fountain outside the gate. Poop bags are available. Ample parking. Good for locals but It’s not worth the 15 min drive for me.

My dog loved this place. We found lots of interesting (to him) tennis balls that were gnarly from the elements. Best place around here for a wild dog to blow off some steam. There's another section for small dogs, too.

Awesome space!! Only thing was the grass needs to be mowed pretty badly. Other than that- can't wait to bring my German shepherd puppy back- she had a blast!

Not a bad park but sometimes people bring their dogs that know they shouldn’t. I’ve seen it a million times and sometimes my dog ends up the unlucky one like today

Fenced in well. Rarely muddy. Just big enough—plenty of space, but still manageable. Best taken care of. Friendly and respectful people go to this park. I have never had an issue here. It is my go-to park
