Deep Cut Gardens is part of the Monmouth County Park System. It has 54 acres of gardens and greenhouses. It was very relaxing to walk around the beautiful gardens. The Lily Pond had brightly colored koi and goldfish and there was a pretty tiered waterfall. The main garden is a maze and is just incredibly picturesque and wedding photos were being taken here when I was leaving. Fun Fact: Deep Cut Gardens has a long interesting history that dates back to the 1600s.

Such a great place to enjoy a lovely nature walk. After parking be sure to grab a map at the very beginning of the trail. If you take the path to the left, you’ll run into the visitor’s building where the restrooms and a library are located. There’s a donation jar so bring some cash if you’d like to make a donation. If you go in the summertime, don’t forget all the things: sunscreen, insect repellent, a water bottle. If you are sun sensitive, a hat and/or umbrella. There’s lots of shade but you have to walk through areas of sunshine to get to them. Wear comfortable walking/hiking shoes! There are some steep inclines if you so desire to take those paths. There are plenty of benches to sit and take a rest throughout the gardens. I didn’t realize there were picnic tables so next time I go, I’m going to pack a small lunch. I may even bring a blanket to sit in one of the open fields and read a book. There was a maze garden in front of the gazebo. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to enjoy it this visit due to a wedding photo session happening. It gives me something to look forward to during my next visit.

What a beautiful place and a hidden gem very close to place where I live. Around 1-2 miles from route 35 on middle town. A fantastic place to spend for one day picnic with family and friends. Wide variety of flowers, nicely maintained garden, great trails for long walk. A must visit for family and friends. Pack your lunch or breakfast grab some snacks and occupy one of the benches and enjoy the beauty of nature while having your breakfast or lunch. Plz make sure to collect all your garbages and left over after you finish. I saw some people leaving leftovers and garbage after their meals which will not be appreciated and you will spoil a well maintained place. Enjoy your short holiday at this place

The greenhouse had some amazing plants and flowers, definitely worth a trip to see it. The rose garden wasn't in bloom so no flowers but it was maintained nicely. There were some areas with caution tape and several ponds were empty, which kinda messed up the natural vibes but I'm sure it was only temporary. If you're looking for a great photo spot this is it...there a number of people doing photo shoots there. Looking forward to seeing it again when there is more in bloom.

Well maintained, beautiful, clear / clean entrance / exit and grounds. Best of all it's free. Plenty of seating. Not for small children as they trample and pick at the flowers. I saw some trash on the grass that the park ranger was collecting - pretty sad that people would litter. It's not the rangers job to pick up after you. Please don't bring food/drinks if you're not going to be responsible and carry it out. Keep it clean for everyone to enjoy. They have a koi pond, a greenhouse, beautiful flower garden with plenty of benches to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Across the street from the parking lot is Tatum Park where they have a playground for kids, public restrooms, and hiking trails.

Absolutely Gorgeous place. A wonderful place to go for a relaxing stroll. Visit the koi pond and rose garden for some magical moments! Hundreds of beautiful flowers to photograph. I've been going here since I was a baby, but every time I return I'm always amazed at how magical it is. Highly suggest going in the spring and summer if you want more opportunities to see blooms.

I have visited the Deep Cut Gardens in the Spring, Summer and Fall- always beautiful views! Enjoy walking and exploring! This past weekend, noticed the greenhouse is now closed to the public! The orchids and roses are gorgeous when in bloom. Like the sounds of the running water as you walk. Remember not to feed fish! :) Parking on site. Restrooms available. There is a park across the street- TATUM & PARK RED HILL ACTIVITY CENTER And if you turn left existing the parking lot about 1 mile you reach the marker HISTORIC MINISINK TRAIL. Rows of gorgeous Cherry Blossoms in full bloom. Saw Photographer taking family photos!!

Such a beautiful place to visit and enjoy nature. There's plenty of benches and ponds, lovely trees to walk through, colorful flowers and incredible cactuses. It's completely free to wall around and admire everything. I can't wait to go back in the Fall when the leaves change.

Really beautiful garden and well maintained. I saw fishes in ponds, there are few small waterfall, nursery. Best place to take pictures, marriages or events. I saw many couples doing their professional wedding shoots when we visited there. Enough parking space for 50+ cars, washroom also available, maps are provided and there is no entry fees. You can definitely come here with family and friends.

This place is amazing 🤩 My Wife and I went here to spend time together. Everywhere you walk here the air is so fresh we took many good pictures I will definitely come here again if we are in the area. I definitely recommend this place as a great place for Wedding photos 👍 we went on a cloudy day and the breeze was perfect there is even a bathroom at the horticulture house up on the left of the parking lot very convenient and a filtered water fountain to fill up a water bottle inside.

Beautiful garden to visit. Free parking and free admission. Unfortunately green house is closed due to severity of thefts. It’s a good place for a little walk and enjoy this amazing garden.

This is a beautiful park to walk around all year round. Today the daffodils were in bloom and some of the tulips were still there (but they were toward the end of their season). We walked through the greenhouse which had such a wide variety of exotic plants. The bonzai trees were all outside enjoying the sun. None of the roses have started growing yet. There are many opportunities to take nice photos here. You're. Kids seem to really love the maze in the rose garden and also the koi pond.

Good place to find a quiet bench under a tree and read a book. The arboretum is good with a lot of flowers, butterflies and bees in spring/ summer. The trials are good as well.

Beautiful park and beautiful gardens. My wife and I visited early May 2023 and the flowers were just starting to bloom. Short walk through the park, but the gardens are so lovely we found ourselves stopping frequently to admire nature. Fyi no dogs allowed.

Very beautiful and peaceful place. Would be more beautiful when the roses blossom. Came here with my family and enjoyed the leisurely walk. Lots of places to seat and ideal for photography

Nothing special. I took my mom there expecting something amazing from it's 4.8 rating but it had a few nice spots like the koi pond and a small garden but that's about it. The greenhouse was locked and there wasn't much to see at all. Just a nice short walk.

Deep cut gardens is really a hidden gem in NJ. Ample parking, you can see variety of plant species, the bonsai tree collection next to the green house is impressive
