Very interesting and the views are great as long as the weather is good, low clearance cars might have trouble accessing it due to dirt roads with potholes and rocks. But definitely worth the effort if you can make it to the tower. The last picture is labeled wrong, it is Red House lake and Administration building.

Stone tower is super cool, looks like the old castle tower but a way smaller version, just a set of steps to get there to the top. Nice view from the top. Only about 20 ft high. Steps are inside. Arrow in the stone that is pointing North.

Beautiful scenery! Worth the drive. Not very far off Interstate 86. It's near the Red House area of Alleghany State Park.

A gorgeous attraction area. I've Ben here many times and keep coming back. Great area for telescopes also. A nice hiking trail. An all out outdoor experience.

Very neat place to check out! Though the road is unserviced during the winter months so be aware of that! Totally worth the drive up if you can make it :)

Very nice quiet place, with a great view. They say it's haunted, but have had no experiences there myself.

Cool place but not so easy to access at the end. (No official road, dirt/rocks road). Place is moslty abandonned but get a nice picture view from the mountain.

We went on a beautiful day and it’s was a very nice place to visit. The kids and pup enjoyed running up and down the stairs to the top of the tower. Be warned, the drive to Stone Tower is via Stone Tower Rd, which is a gravel/dirt road within Allegheny State Park. It wouldn’t be a good idea to drive a sports car or a vehicle with low clearance.

Great place for a state park. Cost $7 a car to enter but beautiful location and lots of things to see. You can drive right up to the tower. Once on the tower you can see the whole park

The Stone Tower is a favorite attraction to visit. My family has enjoyed going here since the early 80's and I'm sure we'll continue to visit. The view from the top is breathtaking from any angle.

Cool view, it’s a dirt road so drive slow plus a trail goes to the location too I drove

Always wonderful gorgeous sunset. Wish they cut some of the trees down more but overall excellent.

Awesome location. Enigmatic as far as the genesis of this structure, but always gorgeous vistas in the middle of the woods. Quiet and relaxing. We stop here every year in the fall. Just a remarkable little place in nature.

Cute little spot. Not a lot to see, but the view is pretty and worth a stop. Steps seem well maintained.

Wonderful spot to take a break and catch a view. Fun for birdwatching too. You can see the town of Salamanca in one direction and the Red House camping area, with the dam and lake, in the other.

It's a fun little hike if you're staying on the summit trail you can hike to it within an hour (with an 8 yo). Interesting architectural design and history. Must do if you're staying at Allegheny!

We usually stay on Summit trail. There is a hiking path directly to the tower from there. A nice short hike for the family. The tower is a interesting piece of history and would recommend taking the trip if you're camping at Allegheny.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Such a neat place. The gift shop is ultra nice. Hours are actually 12pm to 4pm, but it's super nice outside of the station also. The one who works there is very knowledgeable. I am so, so happy that the Salamenca Rail Museum is actively working with the Seneca Nation to properly expand the Rail. Lo...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Very friendly and awesome owners. For a haunted location it did not disappoint. Disembodied voices and tons of activity. A highly recommended location.
