Apartment block always stinks. My fridge doesn’t always close properly so food constantly going off. The laundry room provided hardly ever has working washing machines and the lifts break every other day meaning I am left to carry heavy bags of shopping up 8 flights of stairs. The lift is promised with the expensive prices the tenants pay for the property but they never work and only 1 is ever fixed at a time so I’m often left waiting 10-15 minutes just for the lift. The only good thing about this place is the security as they are really helpful and friendly.

parking here is ridiculous, they charge £100 a MONTH for underground car parking which no one can afford so people from 5 different accommodation blocks have to use the same road to park. my car has been crashed into multiple times by parking it on the road and so has a lot of other people’s because it’s so busy and there are never any spaces, it’s horrific that x1 charge so much for parking when we already pay enough in rent - avoid if you have a car

Hot water has been faulty for the last month, despite them saying they were fixing it. Heater in the flat is limited and doesn’t work all the time. Window leaks and they knew about it for the last 4months and still have not fixed it. The lifts are always broke, the washing machines and dryers are broken (only one works) and are roughly £5-6 for a single wash and dry. Bin shoots always blocked. The list goes on… feel sorry for everyone who just moved in…

The Studios were small but cozy, packages sometimes went missing which got annoying. Maintenance issues were mostly sorted out promptly. Jasmine from X1 Lettings was helpful with any queries and helped sort out parking.
