I had an amazing time and the food was excellent. The staff extremely friendly, professional and treated this transgender women in an awesome way . I would rate this a five star dinning experience. I am a professional chef with decades of experience . In my professional view its equal to the finest Golf Clubs in America! Think local, local business needs support especially now!

I am traveling out of state on business and decided to stop in at Swing at Lykens Valley. I played a few rounds of golf before working up an appetite. I was seated at the patio which overlooked the green. It was picturesque. I ordered the House Salad and it was spectacular. The wait staff were very helpful. My waiter, Gabriel was fantastic. He was able to tempt me into ordering fried pickles and the chocolate lava cake! Would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling through the area.

We were out to Tobias lake and stopped here for lunch on our way home. The environment was very nice and it seems like they are trying to get into the local and off-brand beers throughout the country. The server good and attentive and they brought out appetizers out very quick (under 10 min). Environment was clean and conducive to sit down and enjoy our meals. The crab dip was ok, it had a very strong crab taste, but not bad overall. The new England clam chowder tasted delicious but was watery on consistency. The hamburger was standard, nothing special. I enjoyed the French fries, they were fresh and the seasons they use made them taste good. The cranberry salad was standard, nothing unique. The Buffalo chicken sandwich did not have enough sauce. The fish and chips, the fish tasted excellent and flaked off nicely. The lemon and blueberry marzipan cake was delicious. As far as the prices, the typical sandwich plate ranged from $8.00-20.00 and dinner was $20.00 and up. If we would be in the area again, we would probably go here. The food wasn't truly unique but it was good enough we would come here again.

This is one of the best restaurants in the area. I thoroughly enjoy the food and love sitting at the bar. The golf course is very beautiful. The setting of this course, and restaurant is in the Lykens Valley, and is one of my favorite places I have ever visited.

Nice, attentive servers and good food. We had dinner on the patio which is very nice with views of the golf course. The crab cakes are excellent! Worth a drive on a nice day for lunch or dinner. Owner or manager stopped by the tables to check on guests and was friendly. They do take reservations. They do have live music and craft beer (pretty big selection) The host seemed annoyed that we wanted to sit on the patio (though we had reservations for the patio and it was not busy at all) and she had the personality of a rock , never even smiled, seemed confused. We had 3 young children with us and she asked if I wanted a kids menu... uh, yes..? Working in the industry, I know that’s typical and never base my experience on a host unless they are rude. Definitely recommend trying this place! I have yet to be disappointed since new ownership!

We did not have any reservations, the staff was still accommodating. Beer selection is a wall of different craft beers, it's a must try, get their sampler.

I like the newer menu! Our food was good, prepared well, and didn't take long. I had the southwest chicken wrap and appreciate the use of salsa & sour cream instead of mayo. My dining companion had the open faced ahi tuna on sourdough toast. He ordered it medium but would have enjoyed it more if opted for medium rare or rare. Other items on the menu also caught my eye so I'm looking forward to a return visit to try them.

Food was good as usual, however beware If you order any seafood "based" soup as they charge you extra for the seafood! $7 for a CUP of soup is a little ridiculous, especially when the "extra" seafood was almost non-existent. It was a cream of crab and while it had a good flavor, there were no chunks or even larger slivers of crab-just very tiny shredded pieces and there weren't even many of them. This was the first time eating here that I have ever been disappointed.
