Absolutely loved this place! Delicious food and coffee and staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating to allergies and intolerances. Child is intolerant to both lactose and soya so even vegan places can have limited options in avoiding soya, but here we could order pancakes made with oat milk, and the staff really went the extra mile. The pancakes with maple, blueberries, spiced apple and candied pecans went down an absolute treat. Also had the Christmas turkey sandwich which was enormous and genuinely the nicest Christmas dinner I've ever had out, sandwiched in tasty sourdough. Highly recommended!

It's a nice play to have a coffee and sit, it has a nice atmosphere, I like that they have vegan and gluten free options, I got a fruit bread and it was tasty, the coffee I had a cappuccino with oat milk and didn't like it too much, had a sour taste, and it was pricey comparing to the average coffe shop. It was a little disappointing but maybe the milk was bad, I will come back again and have plain coffee just to give another try. But, regardless its a cute place to sit and enjoy yourself

Wonderful experience 😁 Had the English breakfast and went with family, having two young kids in tow. They have children's plastic cutlery! A great place to come for a family brunch, and lots of vegan and vegeterian options.

Amazing place! Very nice atmosphere, great food and incredibly nice people. I love the fact that when I mentioned my nut allergy they took it seriously, not like many other places! <33 Ah and the toilet is so cute, full of everything u need with pads etc!

We stumbled across this little place on our way to the world museum and in search of breakfast. The interior is everything and for me as a plant lover it was a dream 🌱 Staff were super friendly, service quick and I had an amazing honeycomb latte with smashed avo on heart shaped toast (which if unintentionally, put a smile on my face) Definitely worth hunting out 🌟

Came here for breakfast during a visit to Liverpool from London. Staff were super friendly, kind and helpful. You can tell it's a family run independent local and well loved. Food was delicious - especially homemade beans! And place has such a cool, chilled out vibe. Loved it and if I'm ever back in Liverpool, definitely dropping in again.

The atmosphere is lovely, staff even lovelier and the food sooooo good. Great vegan options including THE BEST pancakes with banana, blueberries, candied/roasted pecans and maple syrup. What’s not to love. 😍

Great selection of hot and cold drinks, delicious food menu, plenty of dietary restriction-friendly options, plus a beautiful bathroom. Really friendly service - but a little slow to get your order.

This is a lovely quaint Coffee Shop, slightly off the beaten track. We loved the large, floor to ceiling windows, adorned with hanging plants of all shapes and sizes. Very family friendly 😊 Although it was cold, overcast and miserable outside, this café was warm, cosy and inviting. The staff welcome you with friendly, sincere smiles and are happy to have a general chitchat. We enjoyed the tasty food and fabulous service 💕

Beautiful place, friendly service, good food, many options, good price! Probably because it’s not in a really touristy area. They are not fast but it doesn’t matter! Highly recommended!

What a lovely find walking into the city from the train station. 😊 A quirky, rustic atmosphere with very friendly and happy people to serve you. The flat white coffee was superb….. I gave it a ‘wow’ on my first sip! A delicious slice of freshly homemade carrot cake to go with it and a nicely chilled bottle of tap water. A much better choice than Costa or Nero in my opinion.

Lovely experience, highly recommended. We were at the dead crafty beer co. Looking for something delicious to take away that would compliment the local craft beer. Opted for the bacon brie and chutney sandwich with a portion of homemade hummus and crackers. No sooner had we finished I had to stop myself going back for more. Also managed to pick up a gift for a friend. Will be back soon. Unfortunately I'm only visiting or I'd be part of the furniture.

This place has quickly become one of my absolute favourites in Liverpool. It's inclusive, welcoming and makes you feel really at home. The staff are so nice and the large windows make it so there's lots of lovely daylight, it's so comfortable to sit in there. The vegan baked goods and pastries are always tasty and the coffee is delicious, I've got quite a complicated order but they always get it just right! I always recommend it to others.

This is the nicest coffee shop i have been to, i was served by two lovely and friendly ladys. Its very colourful and bright inside and a nice seating area outside. The chicken and mayo sandwich tasted great and the side salad was very nice, I'm looking forward to going there again and trying the beautiful cakes.thank you!

One of the queerest places I have ever been [complimentary]. The vibe is wonderful, I felt so welcome. The cakes are gorgeous and family made. I ate it too quickly to take a picture!

A true 1-off gem. So friendly, inclusive and chatty. Coffees are awesome, in hand crafted ceramics and the food is so tasty, and massive portions too. Save space for a slice of cake or take it away with. LGBTQI champions which is very needed

We came to the cafe today for some brunch, and we weren’t disappointed! The food was lovely and it was so nice to have a wide range of gluten free & vegetarian options. The staff were also so friendly and made us feel really welcomed. Lastly the prices were so reasonable which is a bonus! Highly recommend visiting this beautiful cafe if you have the chance :)

Absolutely the worst breakfast and experience ever! Would never return. Cold food which was disgusting. The food was that cold it was sent back, rude staff. Staff talking about you, pulling faces when you ask for things. Just disgusting service. Probably the worst food we've ever aten. Would not recommend or ever waste my time retuning. Left still hungry as nothing was eatable apart from the piece of toast. £30 for coffee, piece of toast and a wasted morning

We enjoyed our food here, very fresh and flavorful, especially the banana pancakes. The coffee was well brewed, lovely mocha.

My special go to place. A little off the beaten track which gives it a calmer atmosphere away from the frenetic activity of the city. Every dietary requirement catered for. The space is relaxing. Staff are warm and friendly. Food is cooked and prepared there and then with wholesome ingredients. Affordable.

I love lovelocks! Been a few times and it’s always great. Staff are super friendly, all the drinks are so tasty and they really know how to make a good coffee. Having an lgbtq friendly cafe is great, excited to go to one of their meet ups soon

Adorable little coffee place with fab vibes, great plants, you really feel at home and the prices are fab too, loads of vegan and gluten free options !! Great prices

Very poor service, had to wait 10min to get the menu sheet then another 15min for 1 sandwich consisting of warm bread and cold chicken with rocket salad served on the coffee plate, no napkins or cutlery option and no 1 word of kindness or a smile from the waitress. 1 star given for cleanliness, that was alright.

Lovely coffee shop. Both good and coffee were delicious. Gutted i only found it on my last day in liverpool. Had eggs and avocado on sourdough. Resonably priced too. Food tasted clean, odd thing to say, but if you know you know

One of my favourite cafes in Liverpool, the staff are always friendly, and they remember me all the time as well! Coffee, breakfast and meal are amazing! I love all of the veggie options they provide! I am so glad this cafe is just near my home xx Phoebe

The best coffee in Liverpool! Sandwiches are also great! Me and my friend come here almost every week as it’s so close to our university campus.

Cheap, cute aesthetic. Cutlery came out dirty with liquid on it. Staff were very friendly. My friend and I both had the French toast and she found a black hair baked inside it? Put us both off eating tbh but it was nice of them to comp hers at least. Had a great time at Moose Coffee straight after though 😌

Lovelocks is now my regular delicious relaxing place. They always welcome me with a big smile and my favourite that is bacon and brie sandwiches never disappoints. Today, I tried their chicken sandwiches, and it was as good.

This place is absolutely amazing, my partner and I were in Liverpool for three days and we were looking for somewhere nice for breakfast and after a google search we found Lovelocks right next to our hotel. We were absolutely amazed at how nice the staff were and how delicious the food was, they had such a variety, vegan, dairy free and meat. As a milk allergy sufferer having a Milk free/ Vegan Croissant 🥐 was amazing. Thank You for the amazing breakfast experience !!

Lovely place, delicious coffee and special service. If it wasn't for our friends Ste and Lauren, we wouldn't have found a good experience in Liverpool

Great breakfast, so good we went back the next morning. Catered for gluten free. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Breakfast was freshly cooked- a bit if thought went into it, tasty ‘Lovelock’ beans, seasoned tomato, spinach, bacon and lovely bread. All washed down with great coffee!

Went for a late breakfast, the staff were so lovely and welcoming. The food was beautiful and the hot drinks were served in lovely ceramics. LGBTQ+ decor and a really homely vibe, couldn't recommend enough!

Loved this wee indie place. Bright, open and chilled. Had a nice simple breakfast of baked eggs on toast here and my daughter had a lovely vegan one. It was tasty and good value. Has a nice vibe about it with board games and LP's to play. Will be there again when I visit Liverpool 🤗

I love this place! The food is delicious and very fairly priced, the staff are friendly and helpful, the coffee is out of this world and Sarah who owns the shop, is such a genuinely lovely lady. I visited Lovelocks on my very first visit to Liverpool and was very impressed... I now live in the city and am so happy to see the bigger premises with a more extensive menu, including lots of vegetarian and vegan options and such delicious cakes! If you're looking for great food and great coffee, look no further 👍

Such a lovely lunch spot. Great vegan and veggie food and nice vibe with good music. Quite a lot of seating but they do takeaway as well.
