As
a
frequent
gym-goer,
I
was
eager
to
try
out
PureGym's
Liverpool
Lewis
Branch.
Here's
my
experience
and
overall
impression
of
the
gym.
Location:
The
gym
is
conveniently
located
in
the
city
center,
close
to
Liverpool
Central
Station.
This
makes
it
easily
accessible
for
those
who
live
or
work
nearby,
as
well
as
visitors
to
the
city.
Entrance:
One
downside
is
that
the
entrance
can
be
a
bit
difficult
to
find,
as
it
is
situated
inside
the
Lewis
building.
There
is
no
clear
sign
indicating
the
gym's
location
from
the
outside,
so
first-time
visitors
may
struggle
to
locate
it.
Air
Quality:
The
air
quality
between
the
Lewis
store
and
the
entrance
to
PureGym
could
be
improved.
There
was
an
unpleasant
smell
reminiscent
of
wet
socks,
which
was
not
particularly
inviting.
Training
Space:
PureGym
Liverpool
Lewis
Branch
boasts
a
large
training
space
with
ample
equipment,
including
two
Matrix
smith
machines,
two
squat
racks,
and
various
combination
machines.
Additionally,
there
is
a
comfortable
amount
of
space
between
machines,
unlike
some
crowded
gyms
in
London
where
you
might
feel
cramped.
Crowdedness:
During
normal
morning
peak
hours
(6:30am-8:30am),
the
gym
was
surprisingly
uncrowded.
I
visited
around
8am
on
a
weekday
and
had
no
issues
finding
space
to
train.
This
could
be
due
to
the
presence
of
communal
gyms
in
many
of
Liverpool's
student
apartment
buildings.
Bike
Area:
While
there
are
no
separate
rooms
for
bikes,
PureGym
Liverpool
Lewis
Branch
provides
a
designated
area
for
them.
This
is
a
welcome
change
from
some
smaller
PureGyms
in
London,
where
bikes
often
need
to
be
moved
around
to
make
space.
Overall,
PureGym
Liverpool
Lewis
Branch
is
a
spacious
and
well-equipped
gym
in
a
central
location.
Despite
some
minor
drawbacks
like
the
entrance
and
air
quality,
the
ample
training
space
and
uncrowded
atmosphere
make
it
a
great
choice
for
those
looking
to
work
out
in
Liverpool.
