Fantastic service, friend staff and full of expert advice, what more can you ask from our local fish store. I came to aquahome for advice when setting up my first marine aquarium, the help I have received has been excellect, my aquarium is thriving and having everything I need 5 minutes from my house if more than I can askf for.

Bought 3 lovely large malawi cichlids from this place, great selection of cichlids and all round tropical and marine fish, great prices too! When buying the fish an employee put my fish in a big polystyrene box which was amazing and wasn't expecting this no extra charge for it aswell, alot better then most shops when they just give you them in carrier bags! ☆☆☆☆☆

Shocking customer service. Waited at till 15 mins . Then they served someone else . Very poor .. one lad just in back on his mobile phone

This place is absolutely amazing. Can go in and talk to them any time they open about any problems you may have with you tank. Always give the best advice and never try to sell stuff you wouldn't need. Never felt pressured to purchase stuff. Staff are always friendly and happy. Gave the best advice for my axolotl when setting up and looking after him. Wouldn't go anywhere els now will always come here 😀

Excellent aquatic centre. We are beginners in tropical fish. Extremely helpful assistant advising which fish to buy that would be friendly with the fish we already have. Will definitely be going there again

Where to start ... well I cannot thank the staff enough for the amount of help we have received with the marine tank I've got . All my silly questions were all answered with no judgement .I have received a great amount of kindness and also respect from the amazing staff .And all the guidance I needed included getting my water tested while tank was being cycle up to where I could get my first fish I got from the store witch I had an eye on for some time . I could not recommend the store enough , it is definitely worth a visit . The stock range and staff are fantastic and always willing to help P.D. Absolutely brilliant little aquatic shop, lots of supplies for the day to day tank maintenance. Beautiful and vast range of fish, corals, crustaceans etc. Unfortunately only a small selection for turtles and reptiles but it really is a good fishy shop.

Didn't visit it today as I was in the Garden centre, but when I have used them I find them very knowledgeable and most helpfull. They have a good quality stock and everything appears healthy and clean.

We absolutely love this place. They have everything you could want for your fishy friends. All staff are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly... nothing is too much trouble. Every tank is immaculate with bright, colourful and healthy-looking inhabitants. Aquahome certainly deserve every award they have won. By the way, Lea is fab! 😊

Good shop, I go here for my RO water, prices a bit steep at the minute on the marine side, but the staff have good knowledge and it's worth a visit. Not much in the view of marine fish stock, is it a refurb or close down? Cannot see any signs.

Brought an Angel fish, red tail shark and a few other fish from here a few weeks ago. The member of staff who helped us was so friendly and full of information on which fish to buy that will settle well with my shark fish. You can tell he had a genuine care for them which can be rare to come across these days. Would visit again but it was on the way home from our holiday 🙂

Been a couple of times with no problems however this time we purchased 1 loach for £18 and 3 mollies which totalled nearly £40, after a day the fish we bought was covered in white spot and ended up passing it on to the fish we already had, we used the treatment but still lost all the fish we purchased plus some of our own, totally waste of money just to end up losing the fish plus some we already had! Will stick to aqua life in leyland in the future!

A hidden gem. Situated in Avant garden centre it's tucked away just past the tills on the left. Well laid out and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Sam helped me with a 25L Tropical fish tank and what my options were for the plants, fish etc. Well worth a visit

Went into today after previously emailing staff, who kept stuff behind for me. Sam is a total plant expert who helped us pick out plants for our aquarium. This is our fish place now! Honestly this place is such a find!

Purchased some fish and plants today. The lady that served us (Hannah) was fantastic, very knowledgeable and fantastic answering my sons 100 questions 😂 So nice to see someone enjoying their job 😀

We we called in last week after being given conflicting advice with regards to filtration. On a 400L tank. The team made everything simple. No hard sell just great knowledge, advice and customer service. We left with their Advised filter. And set up as advised. Tank now cycling and we will be back for fish in a couple of weeks. Your staff are a credit. Your stock is comprehensive. Why would we want to go anywhere else

Don't think I'll be going back there again.starting a fish tank from the start and told me I can't have this fish and that. OK.. Very rude as well when I I'll leave it laugh 😂 at as I walk out. This is a good place for getting all essential supplies for your tropical or Marine fish. They have a plentiful selection of fish and are kept in good condition. A great supply of accessories and the staff are always willing to help with good knowledge for answering any questions. Good knowledgeable staff, only down side is, it can get very busy so sometimes hard to get a member of the team to assist. Being busy speaks volumes to the quality of the stock though.

It's a very good and clean shop probably one of the cleanest around but it's just not got much fish to choose from.
