Excellent menu, renovated and clean, and experienced wait staff. The previous reviews here that give a bad rating are invalid, it was over slammed on the opening day and don’t portray what this Diner actually is.

Went yesterday-great meal, great service! Very happy to have another diner to visit. (We were hesitant because of the poor reviews, but were pleasantly surprised!)

Geneseo Diner has been open 3 weeks. We stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed. Friendly and efficient wait staff. Food was really good. Try the homemade beef vegetable soup. You won't be disappointed. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommend. Lisa was our waitress and she was very attentive.

Very disappointed!! I don't know if it is inexperience or being overwhelmed.. We waited almost a half hour before being seated. The service was very poor.. The waitress was rude and short with her answers when asked questions. The food was ice cold!! , but it was ate anyways. When asked a question on the bill.. (a overcharge ) she sighed and rolled her eyes.. until it was pointed out that she made a mistake. I really hope that the right moves can be made to correct the mistakes and your restaurant can make it.. There is some great potential .. Its got to be a lot better than it was yesterday!!

I honestly don't understand some of these reviews but for my husband and I we were beyond pleased. I got the build your own skillet with pancakes and my husband got the special with eggs, home fries and pancakes. Delicious 😋 Lisa our waitress immediately gave us her recommendations, she was polite, she made our experience that much more comfortable and pleasing. Prices are extremely fair. I definitely recommend this place and am so grateful to have such a great diner in town. Thank you Lisa for your patience and bright personality. It started my Church Sunday on a great note

I don't like to leave negative reviews but this just wasn't a great experience. Wait staff was friendly but the food was lacking and the prices are too high. A side of bacon (3 slices that arrived cold) is over $4. The hot chocolate was watered down and the hash browns were barely cooked. For 2 people our bill came to $39 before the tip. We ordered French toast, a waffle, a side of bacon and hashbrowns, an apple juice, and a hot chocolate. Unfortunately I don't think we'll be back again.

We were ignored for about 10 min before we were seated. Food was bland and not to proper temperature. Had to flag down the waitress for a drink refill because she didn't check back until we were almost done. Watched multiple tables who were done waiting for over 20 min to get a bill. Waitress never came back to get payment. Watched another table of 4 walk out after 20 minutes of waiting at their table to place their order.

Very tasty, large portions and fair prices-grateful they opened and are serving delicious brunch options
